He said, “Well here, let me, give me the keys and we’ll open the trunk up and there’s probably something really garbage in here or whatever”. They open the trunk and there was flies and stuff and a real bad smell. There is a garbage in the trunk. Mr. Burch takes the bag and throws it over the fence into a dumpster. Nathan and Tone were playing a video game and Casey was on her laptop when there was a knock at the door. It was Amy. Casey went outside. About half hour later, Casey came in with Cindy. Cindy told her to get her things, Casey said she was coming back. Cindy told Tone, “I hope you’re rich because Casey’s going to take all your money and leave you high and dry.” Casey told Cindy to “Shut up” and they stormed out. It was approximately 8:00 p.m. Later Tone tried to text Casey when he heard her phone go off in his apartment, so he called Amy. Amy told Tone about Casey ripping her off. Approximately twenty minutes later, Tone received a phone call from Lee. Lee told him Caylee was missing.

one year ago today is when LE and Casey's friends became aware that sweet little Caylee was missing-then the local media put out the story on July 16th.

In the early morning hours of the 17th I'd read the story online at myfoxorlando and did my very first Caylee Marie Anthony listing of it on a missing persons forum.

Four days after Caylee was reported missing IS debuted and came back online and found us following the story here.

One year has passed that Cindy reported Caylee as missing- telling George "we've lost her" - at least Caylee was found, thanks to a persistent meter reader.

Her BFF.....
I would have .......I think that is very odd and I think there is more that Cindy said to her on the phone then we know......imho

Wow desmom! LOTS to discuss today, about "a year ago today."

The towyard has the car being released at 1:55 PM. It's my understanding that both Cindy and George returned to the Anthony home, and put the car in their garage, removed the battery, opened doors/windows/trunk, and possibly began the cleaning up of the car.

If all that happened, Cindy couldn't have returned to work around 2:00 PM. It had to be a bit later. I'm going to look for George's IPASS records to see if I can get a good time about when he traveled to his J.O.B. on July 15th.

Amy was at the mall with JP. In her statement, she said she went and talked to JP before she called Cindy back. IIRC, it has been stated JP is not fond of Casey. I bet Amy told JP what Cindy said about jail. He probably encouraged Amy not to contact Casey because of the mention of jail.

I've got a feeling that Cindy and George didn't stick around the towyard long, once the towyard released it.... I'd guess 1:55PM would be the time that the payment was handed over and the paperwork for the release completed. Johnson's towyard isn't all that far from the Anthonys' home. Do you think that a pretty good estimate would be that George and Cindy returned to the Anthony home with the car, between 2:00PM and 2:10PM?

Maybe Amy kept a running balance in her checkbook and Casey knew how much she had to "play" with. At any rate, she was super gutsy to cash a check at the bank and not expect to get carded. Bet BOA doesn't do that anymore.

People sometimes give opinioins or guesses and then there is Cindy and George who tend to just lie. The times of the 911 calls should have been so easily to know, however the times that the calls were officially made weren't well pubicized.

You wouldn't easily happen to know the link for the IPASS records for George? For the date of July 15th? I've looked and looked and just can't figure out where they are.

Good morning everyone. I can;t believe it has been a year since this all started. I have been on this computer every day for a year. I am so thankful for all of you that have keep me up dated on what is going on.I know if I live long enough I will be here until the Killer is put in prison. Caylee has been on my mind everyday since I heard that her mother waited 31 days to even tell anyone that she was missing. Her mother knew she was not missing she knew where she was.That is the reason she did not tell anyone. May I live to see Justice for CAYLEE.jmho

I think Amy already knew that Casey was a liar. Her resume was in the car because, per text messages, Casey was telling her she was going to get her a job with her at Universal. Casey was always getting money off of her, money to tow car, and Amy had to fill the gas tank up for Casey to use the car. Lieing to her about trying to go on the PR trip, and about moving into her family home. I can't believe Amy didn't question about everything that came out of Caseys mouth. She probably wanted to hear what Cindy had to say.

What stealing did Cindy know about??? As far as the car goes...it was towed...you don't go to jail because your car was towed. When Cindy got to Tone's she says "your taking me to see Caylee", but doesn't even ask if Caylee is there or looks for her.

Cindy had already smelled the car...why did she think Casey would go to jail if she did not find Casey???

I think Cindy knew right then...after finding Casey that Caylee was dead and I think Cindy had moments of indecision by making the 911 calls, but basically the cover up began right then.

IMO the cover up started before.. I think c knew the car was at amscot.. was hoping someone would steal it..when they towed it instead there goes there plan right out the window. They had to come up with a different one.. 911 call first one about a car being stolen and money..Why would she even say anything about a car being stolen, When she had a granddaughter that was missing? cant remember the second real well right now.. 3rd call she says to casey I've already gave you 30 days not giving you one more. c also starts her lies right away.. I told you my daughter has been missing for a month, now wait a minute I thought c was in contact with casey everyday. ..my daughter just admitted to me that the baby sitter stole her. found my daughters car today smells like theres been a dead body in the damn car..( paraphrasing)
Why did c give casey 30 days? what for?. Why clean out the car? why did c go back to work after she got the car from towyard if it smelt like a dead body? Why not leave car right where it was and call LE right there? Why wash casey's clothes? ITA why tell Amy casey was going to jail if she didnt find her? IIRC didnt she also tell lee that? Just wanted to Thank You Desmom for your continued work.

I have to get to work, but I am wondering if anyone knows if kc was having any computer problems. I ask this because kc was on the computer ~cough, cough~ ...........then when Lee picks up the computer it has the "blue screen of death" as i have heard it called.

So if kc is playing on the computer, and having problems, i would think that she would have been complaining about the laptop.....

HOW does the computer go from working when kc was last on it, to not working when Lee picked it up???

I think we all have some sort of an idea what may have happened........thinking of the time line...how would anyone know to TRY to disable (is that the word i want?) or suspect that there could be damning evidence on it, verses information that could help find the Nanny?

Amy was at the mall with JP. In her statement, she said she went and talked to JP before she called Cindy back. IIRC, it has been stated JP is not fond of Casey. I bet Amy told JP what Cindy said about jail. He probably encouraged Amy not to contact Casey because of the mention of jail.

Just another thought.....Amy had just gotten back from PR. (so A had no idea of what kc had been up to)

Who knows what Cin told Amy....she could have lead A to believe that A car was involved with some criminal activity...........heck i dont know......but, really i think deep down kc's friends probably sensed something was wrong with kc.......What happened to Caylee was probably something they could not have imagined in a 100 million years. Then again maybe they suspect that kc was involved in prostitution, drugs or something like that .... and they wanted no part of that bs. Wasn't kc sorta pulling away from her "core" group of friends? JMO.

I do think that Amy NOT contacting kc is indeed odd.

Amy had to have been suspicious as to why she hadn't moved into "Casey's' new house once her parents moved out. Something that Casey was leading her on about. Including allowing her to ship her camera to the house.

IMO, Amy wanted to talk to Cindy, without Casey's knowledge, so she could understand what was going on.
