Federer is cruising right along in today's match..
Sharpova is out already.. not surprising.. don't think her shoulder is ready yet.

Hoping Federer takes the prize too... would be great...

Roger is so great. Poor Maria. I think her shoulder must be giving her trouble. In her interview, she was so down.

The girl she was playing sure did play well also. Maria doesn't quite have back the power she lost because of the shoulder injury, she will be back though. It is easy to forget she is just 22, after her quick start.

No prob.. will post scores later if dgfred doesn't.. love Wimbledon..

Don't think the Williams sisters will make the final though this time around.. so many others are coming up.. but guess we will see.

Hoping Roddick does well.. darn shame Nadal is out.

Hewitt wins straight sets 6-7-7

Roddick took the first two sets, lost the third and is 1 game up in the fourth.

You might be right about the Williams sisters, Knutzekova(sp?) is playing especially well.

Yep there are some really really strong ones out there.. and if they do make it to say the quarters or semi's.. it's not going to be easy I don't think.. they will have to work for the wins.. we will see.

A. Murray winning easily. Maybe his opponent will think twice before calling anyone else a 'cheater' .

Knutzekova (sp) is one tough solid built looking woman. I think she may take it all.
I'm pulling for Roddick to make the final also.

I'm rooting for all Americans (of course) but I do think Roger will win men's...
maybe Venus for women's? She looks pretty strong to me,so far.

I'd LOVE to see Andy Roddick win this big one!

Jankovic losing was a shocker. She seems to have a lot of physical problems. The 17 year old just wore her out. I am so looking forward to tomorrow. The Williams' sisters both have tough opponents.

It's going to be a take the phone off the hook day. Venus has a very tough opponent with Ivanovic (sp).

There are alot of good matches going to be played today. A BIG day at wimbledon. Sad that Ivanovic didn't play well and had to retire, would of liked to see her do better. I really don't want a Williams vs Williams final but it probally will happen.

Federer seems to be on his game also. I'm pulling for Roddick although he is playing better I am not sure he can keep it up, I am ready for someone different than Federer to win. There are several good players left.

Seems Murray doesn't like the closed roof . Roddick and Mr B are
really slamming some serves around... about 135mph .

Some really good matches happened today. I am looking forward to the rest of the week. The mens quarter finals have shaped up to be pretty good. The womens will probally be the william's sisters, I would like to Elena D come through but not very likely. Will be on Tuesday waiting and cheering though.

Venus is into the semi's with winning straight sets (2)
Serena plays yet today
Safina is playing Lisciki (spelling).. they each have one set a piece .. first one went to tie breaker..
Not sure about the other pair playing this morning or today..

Really really don't care to see another Williams sister final... I have a really really hard time watching Serena...

Should be live coverage this morning on nbcsports.com

Not me.. want to see Federer go all the way.. the only other one that I would like to see win is Roddick... just because.. but I don't see that happening..

Federer wins the French, wins the Wimbledon.. and then let him win the US Open in what Sept... and that will do.. be the icing on the cake and he can just relax..

I would love to see Roddick win, even just make it to the final, I have followed him since the juniors.
I also like Dimentivia (sp) but she lets her emotions in too much in my opinion.
I just like some change --- keeps the players humble and not cocky.

Telling you right now.. if the women's final comes down to Williams vs. Williams.. it's NOT WATCH TV for me... like Venus better of the two.. but just don't find them enjoyable to watch..

Federer plays Haas in the semi's

Roddick's match is still going... a set a piece and Roddick leading Hewitt in the 3rd 5 to 4

Murray won his match also I believe.. so he will play either Roddick or Hewitt in the semi's..
