June 10
One year ago today.......June 10, 2008
Casey and Caylee were still at Ricardo’s when he left for work. Casey said she was going to take a shower and take off. http://www.docstoc.com/docs/1643158/...do---Statement
This is the last time Amy saw Caylee. http://www.docstoc.com/docs/1642949/...my---Statement
Brian Burner and family, the Anthony’s neighbors, leave for their vacation to Chicago. http://www.docstoc.com/docs/1641640/...an---Statement
Text messages between Casey and Amy: http://www.docstoc.com/docs/1772101/...-Text-Messages
Casey to Amy 06/10 6:46 p.m.: So Ric and I are not friends anymore.
Amy to Casey: What happened?
Casey to Amy 06/10 6:57 p.m.: He finally decided to tell me that he loves me.. and unfortunately I'm not there with him anymore. I waited months for this to happen and now that it has I can’t say that he is the only guy I have feelings for. It’s like I have to choose. He’s throwing everything in my face. Ugh.
Casey to Amy 06/10 6:59 p.m.: He wants me to still date him knowing that I’m starting to like Tony. I can’t do that. I’m not that person. I respect him too much to do that.
Amy to Casey: That sucks hun. I’ll call when I get off. I also have to get a new job. New management sucks. I’m think Friday for Jacks.
Casey to Amy 06/10 8:54 p.m.: I'm working all day tomorrow so I’m good for whatever day we can go up to Jville.
Casey to Amy 06/10 9:06 p.m.: Oye! Yeah. We will definitely talk later.

Brought over from yesterday's thread.

Reason for that lie: because there was a blowup, and she doesnt want to talk about it. two blowups, one more significant than the other.....she returns with caylee after her overnite stay at Ricardo's on the 9th....but on the 15th she does not.
Cindy lied outright about the 9th because in her mind, she was covering up the fact they were at odds. she didnt want LE to 'catch on' as to why Casey left the house on the 9th with Caylee and didnt return all nite.
then, well, Cindy begins the tale of Nanny et al and her travels as told to her by the literary master, Casey......its quite a disconnect since she outright lied about Caylee being out overnite on the 9th.
and so the coverup begins.....
http://www.wftv.com/video/17565512/index.html
it should be noted it WAS an exhausting exercise in deception....Cindy trying her best to avoid the erroneous weekend of June 8th as being the last time she saw Caylee...well, it was a similar situation....SHE LEFT on the 9th and Cindy had no clue where she was......she returned for a few more days with caylee, Cindy was able to take Caylee for the day on the 15th, (last time) and she never returned.
IMO
best regards,
Pru
*waiting on maggot evidence.....*

Great post Pru! Thank you! Cindy definitely did her best to direct everyone away from the weekend of June 8.

Good morning desmom! June 10th, 2008 was a Tuesday I think. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
So Casey breaks up with Ricardo, yet still stays and uses his shower even though he's gone to work. ...sounds like kind of a funny way to break up. I almost wonder if Ricardo knew at that point in time?

Cindy sure did. I'd be interested in a little more info on Cindy's Dad's condition and how he was doing on that weekend. Didn't Cindy use the excuse of him not doing at all well, as the reason why she stayed overnight with her mom, or am I confused? Could Cindy have gotten in a huge fight with Casey, and just "ran home to mom?" It's not really all that long a drive to her mom's.

Good Morning Sun! Nope you are not confused. Cindy's mom told LE her husband had recently had a set-back but was doing better.
No mention of George going to his MIL's that weekend. Was he at home? I do not recall George mentioning that weekend in his interviews with LE. Now that I think about it, I don't remember George giving LE any dates or timeline during his interviews. Lee did, Cindy did, Casey's friends did. Why didn't George?

ETA ~ That is going to drive me nuts about not remembering George giving LE dates or a timeline. Am I going to have to go back and re-read and watch the videos again?

Just a few minutes into this LE/Cindy interview, Cindy tries to provide LE with a timeline. Cindy speech is so confusing at times. She just can't get out a clear sentence! I had to re-listen to this several times just to figure out which days she was where.
arghhhh.... I HATE listening to Cindy's voice! NO MORE TODAY! LOL

I had to chuckle over Casey to Amy 06/10 6:57 p.m.: He finally decided to tell me that he loves me.. and unfortunately I'm not there with him anymore. I waited months for this to happen.....
Ricardo told LE they started dating the beginning of February and it lasted to mid-April. After that, I get the impression Ricardo was the boyfriend-in-need. When Casey needed a boyfriend, she showed up or called Ricardo. IMO, Ricardo telling Casey he loved her may have been said in the heat of the moment....if you get my drift.
Hello Casey, that was lust, not love! jmo

I don't ever think that I've seen a good timeline for when George worked, days or times. I had hoped that Morgan would get this info when he deposed George, but he didn't.
I do recall that George got a final paycheck or last day of work on June 30th for one job (unsure if he just quit or was fired), and supposedly didn't start a new job until July 14th. It would be good to know which days/hours George actually "worked" and was away from the Anthony home. I've just not seen this outlined anywhere.
Cindy has indicated that George's regular days off (at least for the earlier job) was Fridays and Saturdays.

Gee, I really shouldn't be re-listening to Cindy's LE interviews.
After just finishing part 2 where Cindy discussed the paternity of Caylee, and such, I feel something very disturbing. I just wonder what lengths would Cindy have gone to, to prevent "anyone" (even Casey) from taking Caylee away from her. Was this something that Casey already felt, and Casey just killed Caylee to prevent Cindy from ending up with Caylee? Could Casey have hated Cindy that much?
The dysfunction in the Anthony family is so disturbing.

Good morning everyone, I think if casey did not kill Caylee then someone like the a;s or just anyone should be looking for the real killer. Like in oj case. who elce could have done it and why or they not looking for that person. Now we know the nanny don;t ex.and that story is a lie. If they or going to get casey out of this they need someone who did kill Caylee. I see nothing that shows another person did this. Am I just crazy or is there something I don;t know. Right now the only one I can see that would have killed Caylee is casey. Maybe jb has someone elce in mind but he needs to be looking for that person. jmho

Do you remember him giving any dates to LE re Casey and Caylee other than 6/24 when he found the gas cans in Casey's trunk?
He did not even give a "we all had breakfast together on Father's day, before Cindy and Caylee went to the nursing home".
I just find it odd everyone was asked or offered timeline info, but George. Why?
What if the weekend Cindy went to Mt. Dora, the argument was between George & Casey? Casey walked out with Caylee and returned after Cindy returned from Mt. Dora. Did Cindy avoid bringing it up because she was afraid Casey would take Caylee and leave again or she wanted to give everyone a little time to cool off?
I still go with the theory Cindy's mom gave her an earful over Casey and her shenanigans on Father's Day. Did Cindy decide to bring up the weekend before when she got home from Mt. Dora + all the other things Casey had been doing?

I don't know what lengths Cindy would have gone to...she wanted her cake and eat it to just like Casey...she would complain to Casey all the time about getting home and taking care of her daughter...then when Casey and Caylee were gone for more then 3 weeks...she did nothing really to find them...even Cindy's co-workers told her something was up and she needed to check into it or call the police and she failed to do anything...sometimes I think she was glad they were out of the house.

You bring up some good questions. Why was George's daily schedule never really outlined? Why don't we have more details from George about the days leading up to Caylee's death? And, why did George EXPLODE on Morgan/Mitnik when he was asked about this?
IMO, George is a huge liar. A huge liar, with a temper. Living in a sham of a marriage.

but, but ....
Cindy said she talked to Casey everyday.
IIRC, the computer reports said the "My Caylee is Missing" was wrote on July 2 and posted on myspace July 3. Cindy went to Universal on July 3 because that is where Casey said they were. When she called Casey, Casey told her Caylee was not at the park and in fact the two of them had been in Jacksonville all week with Jeff. Yet, Cindy sends Lee out looking for Casey in the Orlando clubs the evening of July 3.
IMO, Cindy knew something was wrong.

As much as Cindy says now that she believes everything Casey told her, I bet she really didn't believe squat. I bet there were threats to each other every phone conversation, until Casey stopped taking any of her calls. Then it was all texts.

OK...she did do somethings...but IMHO...not much...I think she looked for them about as much as she searched for Caylee after she reported her missing and searched for the real killer after the fact.
I'm sorry, but if this was my grandchild...I would be out there searching everyday...not selling T-shirts and bracelets on the corner. To me Cindy's plea's on TV for Caylee's return were pretty feeble...cause at that point I think she new...in fact I think Cindy and George knew that Caylee was dead when they retrieved the car from the tow yard. At that point they were in denial that then turned to cover-up.

desmom, I have a hard time believing much of what George says in regards to the gas cans. The date is memorialized by the theft report with LE. But, how do we know that the gas cans were returned to the Anthony home in the manner that George described. ....George has lied about so many things, and so I just don't put much weight to what he says.
Tony did finally tell LE that Casey asked him to break the lock off the shed (with his tire iron), so that she could get the gas cans. So, I do believe that the gas cans were in Casey's possession at that point, just not sure how they came to be back in the Anthony home.

Last night 101Spots posted: http://boards.insessiontrials.com/sh...0#post13181440 I believe this was what Lee was referring to when he asked Casey "Is this like the last time?" in regards to Casey and Caylee's June 8 disappearing act vs June 15 disappearing act.
I think 101Spots may have solved the "Is this like the last time?" question Lee posed to Casey we have all tried to decipher. Kudos to 101Spots!
The family definitely wanted LE to stay away from the June 15 weekend. Cindy said she thought it was June 8 because of vacation or something and her Mom would be able to back it up because of the emails she sends daily to Cindy's aunt. I think Cindy expected her Mother to back her up. I do not think Cindy ever considered LE would go to the nursing home to confirm her story. Remember how irate she was with LE when she found out they had gone to the nursing home.
Something major happened June 15 in that household. Could Lenny's Lee said Cindy had Casey by the throat story be true?

I'd really like to know when Cindy asked for that week of vacation (June 30 through July 4). July 2nd was a Wednesday. July 6th was Sunday.
I'd like to see txtmsgs between Casey and Cindy. The myspace posting by Cindy will be seen by the Jury.

A day or two after the stolen gas cans report came out, George told one of the media outlets the gas cans had been stolen by a neighbor. Then he went on Greta and said Casey took the gas cans and told this long detailed he said/she said story about how the cans were recovered.
George gives way too much information when he recalls an event. It is too scripted for me.

desmom, unfortunately the Anthonys are going to be telling the truth about what went on in their home, in the weeks/days leading up to the death of Caylee. And at this point, if they did decide to "tell," who would even believe that they are telling the truth.
The Anthony all tried to mislead LE. No doubt about that. LE was very quick to realize that Casey was lying, and I think that it took LE just a few days to realize that George and Cindy were also lying to them.

George gives way too much information when he recalls an event. It is too scripted for me.

Who would call 911 for two stolen gas cans...at $10.00 each. That always surprised me.

Good morning Desmom,
That part that really puzzles me is that how could they have forgotten the date....when it was fathers day, they visited Cindy's father in the nursing home with Caylee, it was the same day that Cindy found out that Casey had stolen money from the assisted living account, it was the day of the big fight......and it was the last time they saw Caylee (if we want to exclude the monday that George claimed to have seen them)?
With all of that as a reminder to the date...how did they make such a hugh mistake of 1 week....I, as a grandparent would have been counting the days that I hadn't seen my daughter or my grandchild...
And if they couldn't remember the date then how can George be so sure that he saw them on the 16th?
I do not believe that George saw them on the 16th, I believe that Casey left the night of the 15th and may have went back when G & C were not at home to get some clothes and to MURDER Caylee....

The Anthony all tried to mislead LE. No doubt about that. LE was very quick to realize that Casey was lying, and I think that it took LE just a few days to realize that George and Cindy were also lying to them.

I agree....it became a big cover up right after Casey was released from jail the very first time by Padilla....It seemed that the whole thing turned to saving Casey's A** and poor little Caylee was put on the back burner (so to speak)....and it has remained like that ever since....
I wonder when they will finally give Caylee a decent funeral and put that poor child to rest properly......That memorial was nothing more than another plug for Casey.....

Well, I can't say that I wouldn't call 911 because it would probably be more so for the fact that someone came onto my property and broke my shed open to steal something.....but just for the fact of it being 2 gas cans, I doubt that I would have went to the trouble for that reason alone....

Good morning Rapunzel and welcome to the board,
I believe that Cindy's co-workers advised her to go home and call the police on the day that the car was found with the odor in it...Cindy took their advice and went home but didn't call the police until that evening.....and told LE that she was reporting a stolen car and then after finding Casey with no Caylee and overhearing Lee and Casey talk about Caylee being missing, is when Cindy replaced the 911 call hysterical.....

Ok, listening to George when asked about a timeline. Thanks so much for the link. The question to George was to "when he saw the baby last, or his daughter"
George said that he normally had FRI and SAT off, worked 3-11 Sun-Thurs. According to George, 7:30-8 was George's rising time, and 9-10 is where Casey and Caylee would come out. Caylee and Casey slept together most of the time. Lots of times George said he would be the one giving her breakfast, taking her outside to play, watching TV/DVDs.

I did a quick skim of the written version and George really didn't offer any information about events or dates that were "safe" i.e. the gas can theft, the nursing home visit. When LE tried to get George to give an approximate date, he seemed to dance around their questions.

There is no doubt in my mind that both Cindy and George never believed one word of what Casey was saying.....they were hoping against hope that the were wrong....but they knew Caylee was gone the minute the car was found and Caylee was not....
But they will never own up to it....they too will take it to their grave...along with Casey.....jmo

Tony did finally tell LE that Casey asked him to break the lock off the shed (with his tire iron), so that she could get the gas cans. So, I do believe that the gas cans were in Casey's possession at that point, just not sure how they came to be back in the Anthony home.

I think George told Cindy he called or was going to call the cops about the theft of the gas cans, Cindy and George both suspected Casey took them, George was fed up and determined to do something, Cindy not so much. I believe Cindy figured George would not call and she called Casey to give her a heads up to reurn the cans. George surprised himself by actually calling the police and Casey got there after they had made a report.

Decent funeral? Don't hold your breath. The memorial was a "show" and IMO not proper.

So Casey breaks up with Ricardo, yet still stays and uses his shower even though he's gone to work. ...sounds like kind of a funny way to break up. I almost wonder if Ricardo knew at that point in time?

I doubt it she seemed to keep her ex's all still close for some reason as she moved on to the next one...

Or maybe both George and kc and Cindy was at the end of her rope with both of them???
