Amy totals her car. Casey told Amy “her boy from work sent her to Fusion to check on her daughter”. Page 11 http://www.docstoc.com/docs/1642949/...my---Statement
Text Messages: http://www.docstoc.com/docs/1772101/...-Text-Messages
Amy > Casey: Got a shift.
Casey > Amy 06/06 9:09 p.m.: What time do you get off tonight?
Amy > Casey: Hopefully a little after 10.
Casey > Amy 06/06 9:46 p.m.: I came into work. Huge mistake. I tried to help setup for an event and got roped into staying a few hours.
Amy > Casey: Good thing I worked then! When are you done?
Amy > Casey: Done now.
Amy > Casey: I think I’m just going to head downtown. Lemme know when you get out.
Ricardo cooked. Casey was coming for dinner. She was late, he kept dinner warm. She canceled because she said she had to work. Later, Ricardo saw photos on myspace of her at Fusians. She said she had never been there, but later said she was there looking for her bosses daughter. Page 8 – 9 http://www.docstoc.com/docs/1643158/...do---Statement

Good morning Desmom! How easily all those lies seem to spew from Casey's lips.

Yep and she did not seem to worried about sticking to her story because she would later post pics on myspace that contradicted what she had said.

I am still shocked at how easily she just forged Amy's checks and stole money from her.

The only reason that I can think of why casey anthonys friends knew she was a liar and put up with it and overlooks it is because she was fun to be around. Party girls are fun to be around.

The sleepwalking bit confused me too unless Amy had a history of sleepwalking.
Amy and Casey started hanging out together in February 2008. After Casey started dating Tone in May 2008, Amy did not see or hear much from Casey. IMO, the Amy/Casey best friendship was still in the infancy stage.
I think Amy probably knew Casey was telling Ricardo lies, but she could explain those lies away with a relationship on the rocks.

IIRC, Amy had taken Ambien or some sort of sleep med. Maybe she went with believing it because of the medicine, and thought maybe it could be a side effect or something. Bottom line IMO, is she really liked Casey and I think she just did not want to believe that she took it. idk.

I think thats it. casey anthony charmed her friends into thinking she really cared about them. A way to get them to trust her.

I am unclear on just how Casey even met Amy. Did they just start hanging out together, because Amy was a friend of Ricardo's, and Casey had begun to date Ricardo? Was it through Ricardo that Amy and Casey became friends?

O/T *giggle* Glad you survived it!
Sun: Agree with you...how easily the lies fall from Casey's lips.
I wonder if Casey learned lying through modelling or if it is part of her make-up, or both...or...*shrug*

It is quite likely that Casey may have learned to tell lies, from George. George seems to have a history of lying also. Like father, like daughter.

page 77 http://www.docstoc.com/docs/1080890/...cuments-Part-3
Amy told LE she apparently met Casey in 2007 when Casey attended a party Amy had. Amy did not recall meeting her at the party. Amy left to work for a cruise ship for six months. When she returned, Casey "got pretty close with my group of friends" and she was dating one of Amy's temp roommates...IMO, Ricardo.

New court documents in Casey Anthony case
http://wdbo.com/localnews/2009/06/ne...n-casey-a.html
Also new in the case:
- WKMG filed a motion opposing the defense's request to seal the jailhouse video taken of Casey Anthony as she saw news coverage that a child's remains has been found near her parent's home.

Thanks so much for this. I guess that I just come from the old school, and that women in their 20s forming a best friend relationship so quickly is just a bit odd.

WKMG is which channel? (can you tell that I'm not from the Orlando area?) I know it's not channel 9, that one is WFTV. LOL

Thanks AMS!
I'm hoping that one of the media will make available to us the actaul amended motions that Baez has filed, as well as any happening in the Civil Case lately. Nothing much seems to happen on the weekends though.

I believe George fancies himself as crafty. I believe he is a covert manipulator. I believe he is always trying to work people, play them. I do not by it, I do not trust him, at all. A snake in the grass imo.

Jesse has said that Casey is much like a chamelion, and I also see a bit of that in George. He seems to change according to the people around him.

Good morning all. I just wonder if Casey was so much like her mother that the reason people put up with her was because she, too, was a domineering, manipulative, intimidating piece of work.
Maybe it was easier (and safer) to put up with her lies, stealing, etc. than to stand up to her. JMOO

Good morning everyone, I hope all of you or going to have a good day. It is hot in miss. I guess we have nothing new in this case. Is c and g staying close to home now days.Guess they or in their back yard getting a tan. I don;t see how they can sit out there and look at all of Caylee;s stuff. I can just see her playing in that back yard. I will never understand why g and c searched their back yard the very first thing. They both knew something had happened to Caylee and Casey did it.jmho

Good morning, ITA- I would think that even at their age, to be told that you were up sleep walking in the night bad enough that you lost money, would send off some serious alarm signals in Amy's head.

BOLDED BY ME!
So, Casey has a pattern of lying about going to Fusions to look for Daughter's.
With friends like her, who needs enemies? She had multiple people on standby for any given night until she could figure out, IMO, IF her parents would babysit, and what she really wanted to do.
Poor Ricardo, cooking dinner for her, waiting for her, and she totally dissed him. Only for him to find out later she was lying about why she didn't show up.
G'morning, everyone!!!

I remember the feeling that I had about George, after I finished reading the first 400 page Doc Dump. It was one of "was George somehow involved?" I couldn't rule him out, but what I read there. I had no doubt in my mind then, that Casey was completely involved in the killing of Caylee. At that time, I just could rule out the possiblity of George also being involved in some manner.
At Casey's Bond Hearing, I watched how Casey responded when George was on the stand, and compared it to how Casey responded when Cindy was on the stand. There was a remarkable difference. And, I also compared Casey's reaction to how she was with LE.
