Yearbook with Casey Anthony photos sells for $500
http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/...,5004814.story

I was telling a friend about Casey's yearbook being up on ebay. She said if 1 yearbook brings $500, what would all 4 years bring? (She is an ebay seller and always thinking Would someone buy this on ebay when we auction/garage sale.).

In this economic crunch I wonder how many of Casey's former classmates are digging out their yearbooks?

Chicago - The nation’s second-largest public defender’s office has run out of money to represent dozens of people facing the death penalty and is asking judges to rule out the punishment or appoint private attorneys, officials said Wednesday.

Andrea Lyon is from Chicago.

Morning Des.

What a difference a year makes in the life of Casey Anthony eh?

What a waste.

It will be interesting to see if any charges are brought against the Ricardos and Mertzs.

Talk about self-destruction.

This yearbook thing really has me tickled. I wonder if Cindy is burning up the phone lines contacting the alumni of Colonial H.S. ordering them to not sell their yearbooks on ebay.

Morning, des. Thanks for the thread!

What was Casey referring to when she said "I only got 49"?

Morning Unleashed. I think it refers to "tips" for her pretend job.

Remember, everything that came out of Casey's mouth was a lie.

Bolding is mine.

I really hope so. Not for any vindictiveness on my part, but they are getting scarier and scarier each day. Who knows what would have happened if the women had opened their car doors or windows when stopped? The Anthony's need to be rid of their vigilante tendencies, and need to understand that society will not allow them to stalk and threaten and intimidate its citizens. With their self righteous attitude of being above the law, its a small wonder their daughter thinks she can blow off police questions and just dump her dead child and bide her time waiting for everything to blow over and she can go back to her old life.

I agree. In particular I think Dennis should be called on using "strobe lights" to try and pull the car over. Wasn't he cited on that previously?

Back when the yearbook was listed at a BIN price of $179, someone had put in an offer to the seller. The Seller didn't respond and accept or decline that offer. And, then the Seller began jacking up the BIN price, from what I saw, it went from $179.99 to 279.99 to 329.99 and finally to $499.99. Then someone clicked the BIN button and made the purchase for the full $499.99 (only at that time did the earlier offer become declined). IMO, there is probably something fishy going on with the supposed sale of this item.

If I try really hard I can cut the Anthonys some slack, not a lot but some. But The Milsteads? heck no. I think they've latched onto the Anthonys and are whispering in their ears and egging them on. I think the Milsteads are making things a hundred times worse for GEorge and Cindy but like a teenager and a group of bad friends, the more it's pointed out...the more they hang out with them.
I'm a little nervous that Milstead's allowed to imply (nice word, won't get me in trouble)that he's some kind of LE with his flashing lights and run you down attitude. I hope LE in Fla looks into him, he scares me. I don't want my folks on the road with someone like him.
I'm no fan of Lois and I question her judgement but if I'd been lying things at the memorial and overnight they were disappearing or being destroyed I might want to keep an eye out to see why. But I'd leave any children home for safety's sake.

IOW, Amy sent a text to Casey saying she only made 49. Amy was a waitress at the time. IMO, Amy is saying she only made $49 in tips.

Another reason would be if the yearbook was a "reserve auction" listing. Because that would mean the seller had a secret bottom-line price already registered with ebay, and until someone reached that price, he/she could turn down any offers. (I know way too much about ebay).

You're right cassidy. I went to the link that Des put in her post and it WAS from Amy. She is the one who said she only made $49.

Thanks to all who answered. Breezie, you are probably right, I read the msg wrong, it was from Amy to Casey, not the other way around. I will go have coffee before I post any more dumb questions.

GM, if Lyon is as passionate and she claims, she would drop Casey Anthony like a hot potato and help the locals out. So is it activism & passion or money?

I think it is both. There's her new book that is coming out so that could have something to do with it. But also, if she observed anything about this case in the media, before she signed on, she might have noticed JB's incompetence and the three ring circus surrounding him. She might have thought, if she didn't intervene in this, Casey didn't have a chance. I think she sees herself in God-like terms. JMO

Item 110390722469 ...just in case anyone wants to see the yearbook sale.

Note that this was a BIN Fixed Price listing, with a Best Offer option. That means that folks could send offers to the seller (and the seller would then have a few days to decide on whether to accept or decline an offer). However, anyone could at any time click on the BIN button and make the purchase for the full Asking Price Listed. The seller did not specific that immediate payment was necessary to make the purchase.

There is no way to know if payment for the yearbook is ever made to the seller. However, if you want, you can check the seller's feedback record for the next week or so, and see if that buyer leaves them feedback. Or check and see if the seller leaves the buyer feedback. That still is not clear indication that any money changed hands though. ....my opinion, something fishy happened with this auction, and I doubt very much that this was a legit sale.

Maybe G&C bought it and then welched out on the deal.
