Of course it won't affect DrewP very fast if this turns out to be Stacy....
LE won't charge him until they KNOW they have a murder case that will stand up in court.
Maybe the/a judge will think twice before lowering his bond if this is indeed his wife though....

IMO if this is body found is Stacy's but Drew remains in jail and is found guilty of K.Savio's murder LE basically will have all the time in the world to prosecute him for Stacy's murder.

So I hope they take their time putting together a solid case.

When Drew went to court the other day did he say anything going in or coming out? because every pic i see of him from that day it just looks like he's looking down at the ground.

On TV that day, they interviewed a reporter that was in the courtroom. The reporter stated that DP looked tired and gray, and there was no smiling or his usual fooling around.

He called in to a radio program this morning and sounded not too bad.

Said he missed his kids. Joked about the showers and the meals, but said the place is clean.

Joked about conjugal visits. You know women would line up for that. lol. When he'd go out to bars, there was no shortage, that's for sure.

I think he knows he has finally been caught up with and he's going down for this crime of murder.
I too believe they will learn he killed his 4th wife Stacy Peterson and it will not be by way of DNA on the remains they discovered last week. I believe the LE knows a lot more to date then what they are saying. Drew Peterson will most likely be Indicted for the murder of Stacy Peterson sometime soon. They have been working hard on this case and Kathleen Savio's Information from a patron in the bar owned by Peterson was approached. I read he was a good friend, or so Peterson thought at the time and he finally came forward.
I do not have a link. I did not know you had to have one. I am now learning the rules and regulations of the threads/board but I will show it's just an opinion.

I'm really curious about "the hitman" Drew allegedly tried to hire to kill Kathleen in late 2003.

And I wonder why he did not go to the cops when she turned up dead and not by him? Why 5 years later?

That could have put Drew in jail a long time ago.

All these people turn up now. People who maybe could have prevented another wife from being a dead wife.

I don't recall there being a time line for when this informer first spoke with the LE. Maybe they came forward soon after Stacy went missing or maybe they came forward when Savio was first found and it's in the records.

IMO someone covered something up from the beginning and if they did how much did they bury.

Do we know if the "hitman" waited five years? What if he did tell the LE way back then but they the grand jury said " drew would never do that" ?

Considering Drew was a cop I figure this person felt there was no way he would be believed and was very intimidated by him...
Considering a friend of Drew's was on the coroner's jury and was able to convince others he could not have killed Savio ....
I think Drew has a past hystory of using his law inforcement status to avoid lots of things.
I hope everyone that always thought he was such a "nice guy" reexamines their own opinions and realizes how wrong they were.
If the remains turn out to be Stacy they ought to really be upset that had they investigated properly Savio's death that Stacy could possibly been still alive.

On Saturday, one leg bone was found.

http://www.myfoxchicago.com/dpp/news...r_New_Evidence

“They got here about three o'clock”

Chemical plant worker Jeff Triplett says he escorted state police and two workers from the Will County Coroner's office through a brush and back into the woods along the bank of the Des Plaines River...

Tera Williams: What did they find...
Jeff Triplett: They found a human leg bone... they said they found it on the side of the river... They had their forensics kit and they all had their laptops and they were bagging it up.

Tera Williams: How did they say they were alerted to this area?
Jeff Triplett: They wouldn't say...it's definitely connected to the body earlier this week...

Tera Williams: State police would not confirm that... but did say they took some items into evidence from the Des Plaines River today. We saw search crews wading along the bank and noticed a flagged area where the crew was paying the most attention...

About a mile downriver from there on Wednesday a clean-up crew found skeletal remains. An autopsy done Thursday did not confirm the person's race or gender and it could take weeks for the results of a DNA analysis.
