A little O/T, but I'm researching Florida death rom to see what Casey is in for if she gets the DP and I ran across this pic of <shudder> John Cooey that I haven't seen before. (He looks kind of like Mini Me in the Austin Powers series.)

Why do you think that? What is the latest development with Annie? I haven't been to the Caylee board in awhile and it seems like I missed something big..

That's one bonus to the holiday forums - I get to catch up on all the cases I have been reading all one on forum!

I really believe that the forensics will speak for Caylee. How old was Casey when she got pregnant?

If people are being tight lipped, I think it is because they know that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and perhaps feel their lives may be in danger from Cindy if they say too much. These are mostly young people in their twenties who are easily intimidated and don't know much about the law. Cindy has shown her true colors and I bet people are fearful of what she is capable of doing and getting away with.

It's interesting that you say that "nobody knows much about Casey all the way back from Jr. High to date." That is exactly how it was with that creep, David Westerfield, who killed little Danielle Van Dam. Remember? Couldn't find one person to testify in the trial or in the penalty phase about him in the present tense. Always, "ten years ago when I knew him, he was. . ." Never "I know him now and he is . . ." Maybe this is the M.O. of a psychopath. Nobody REALLY knows them.

19 isn't it? Didn't she just turn 23 in jail? And Caylee would have been 4 in 2 months.

Some expert didn't put Casey in the same profile as a psychopath, he said she was pathological and probably bi-polar. I forget what else.

I am no doctor so I don't know about medical terms but I will go as far as saying that anyone that would callously kill their own flesh and blood child is a pathologically twisted, cold hearted sob with no soul. I think Casey fits into that one.

Just Annie saying she spent the night with Casey when she was out on bail and they did not talk about Caylee or the case. Annie also said that her and other friends figured Casey was lying about her job but never confronted her or ask her any questions about it. I just think she knows things and Mr. Morgan has not ask the right question yet. Not that she is lying she just is not volunteering the info.

Correct. I meant that this coming August she would have been turning 4, if her casey hadn't killed her, imo. But yes, Caylee was gone before she turned 3.

Casey's DOB is 3/19/86, she graduated from high school (per Brittany Schrieber) in 2004. Caylee was born in August 2005, so she would have gotten pregnant in November-December 2004? jmo

I can't help but wonder how she got that way. I wonder if this is nurture or nature. Looking at the mother and the father, I can see where she gets the lying and stealing and thinking that this is okay. But murdering your own baby. Where is her soul?

(I'm with you on the other issue as well. I think we need to get off oil and start using natural energy sources or we are going to destroy this country and this planet)

All of 18 years old, I think.

I tried to do the math: Caylee would have been four this July, plus one year for pregnancy.

Around 18 I think.

That's the nature part, IMO.
She's missing something, in a sense. She was born that way.

Truly, I believe that sociopathy/psychopathy is part nature and part nurture.

I would not be surprised if this Torobio woman's lawyer ends up going with an insanity plea and pulling an Andrea Yates. The other one, I hope they fry his sorry behind.

They should start doing some serious studies into the minds of these type of killers who kill their own children. Is it a missing gene or chemical in the brain or a quirk in the DNA string or what. I would like to know.

Yes, indeed.
ITA.

There seem to be so many who fit the profile nowadays, it would surely be worth some serious study. If it's chemical, perhaps some people could be "fixed" and their loved ones could remain alive.

I think what Tiffiny Torobio did to her son was vicious and horrible...He was such a beautiful little boy...She smothered him, gave him CPR and then smothers him to death...Then buries his little body in the sand...I hope she frys along with the other one...mo

There is this guy sorry I don't know his name but he has started classifying serial killers and people who murder and he numbers them 1 to 22 Casey would be a 1 to 3. There was somebody who was a 22 but I can't remember who.

If 22 is the worst, that would be someone like Joseph Duncan...He is really one of the most evil killers that ever walked the earth IMO...
