Everyone ready for a new day?

My Thoughts
My heart is troubled tonight reflecting on a life taken. Caylee Marie Anthony would have been approaching her Fourth Birthday. She would be playing in the backyard pool, her playhouse, maybe going to Disneyworld and preparing hopefully to enter the Head Start Program. Learning new things, the alphabet, her numbers, frolicking on the playground with new found friends her own age and beginning a life of learning and developing her skills. Playing with her dolls, drawing fun pictures, playing with her dogs and developing herself in her most formative years.
Tragically all this has been taken from her by a non-caring mother without a conscience and with no regard for the gift of God that he bestowed upon her no matter the circumstances of her conception and birth.
It is most difficult for me to understand anyone who would take the life of a precious gift like Caylee Marie or any child for that matter especially by her own mother. It has become too commonplace in our society. I don’t blame society for this, as there are many of us who foster and nurture these young gifts to become future productive members of society.
What I find most troubling is that the parental grandparents will not be held accountable for the one and only person who is responsible for the demise of their gift and then compound that by profiting from a beautiful Childs murder by one of their own children. It is appalling and in my opinion almost criminal to not stand up for this child and continue to pursue a fraud on the people of this nation as if we are completely ignorant and do not have the moral fiber to see through what is happening as a result of their denial of the overwhelming evidence against their daughter.
There are many fine people like John Walsh, Mark Klass, Tim Miller and many legitimate organizations to help find the perpetrators of these crimes. That however is not the total answer. We need more stringent Laws that would help to prevent these crimes from happening in the first place. In my opinion the abduction of a child regardless if the child is murdered should be punishable by Life Without Parole. One would think that this would be a deterrent.
In closing, I would hope that what Cindy, George and Lee Anthony have done to impede the investigation of this horrific murder will be held accountable in a court of law for their participation in Lying to LE, Obstruction of Justice and Aiding and Abetting in a Criminal Offense. There is no question in my mind that they individually or collectively are guilty of one or more of the above.

Respectfully snipped, I agree with your post particularly this last paragraph. I feel very strongly about this and I pray that LE will reconsider and file charges against them. I hope they are just waiting to let them tighten their own noose. As for them being held accountable for their daughter's actions, I don't agree with that part. Casey is a young adult and made her own choices. They may have in a round about way contributed to this but I do not believe they did it in a purposefully manner. And I do not believe a parent can or should be held accountable for their adult child's actions. They do need to be held accountable for their own actions though in the obstruction of justice. Very well stated other than that! Off to work now, hoping to hear positive news regarding the hearing today.

I hope she didn't give Crystal Caylee bears to give to her children to to remind EVERYONE especially another family with an missing child the outcome of her granddaughters fate.
This is the exact reason why the Anthony's can only put more stress in an already bad situation.

IDK, it's hard to say but there is alot of simular things
you have:
a missing child
very young parent
a "master" liar/someone who changes their story more than once
a small group of ppl trying to cover for one another
drugs/partying ( can we assume Casey was doing drugs?)
both from Fl
in both cases, there is major enabling going on
Geo calling out for the public to help serach for both missing children
I know none if this points to Haleigh's family having any involvement, I'm just saying how the some of the same things pop up in both cases.
p.s. I'm sure CW would want us to discuss the HC case on the HC thread

I wonder if LE is waiting until closer to trial time to arrest the other A's. Can you imagine them in prison clothes when they are on the witness stand? That would make a powerful statement.

Good Morning Daff,
I was thinking about that myself the other day and I have to agree with you. It's really unsettling the way they opened this "foundation" everything "Caylee" from still wearing the Caylee is missing shirts to Caylee bears and how this helps someone else. It doesn't.

look what she gravitates to:
where was this mom PRIOR TO the event of Haleigh 'going missing', and what concern was she showing regarding her son...? living her life as she normally would not caring one bit about her son or her daughter's well-being....UNTIL THIS. similar to CA and family..too busy covering up stuff for Casey.......Caylee who?
they are a bunch of classless potty mouths, the anthonys included.
of course, I am not diminishing the seriousness of this case, another child gone missing, it doesnt matter what walk of life or background....they deserve the same level of investigation.....
what I am saying is the anthonys are right at home with this bunch...they already did their share of lying, Ron, new wifey, his mother. in addition, the mother of Haleigh whose first step was to get a lawyer and start a domestic dispute in front of the cameras.....
its one thing for the anthonys to show up and simply blend, light a candle, its another thing to make themselves front and center as the poster people for MISSING CHILDREN....you wont see them anywhere near a tragic case involving a child if cameras are not there.
they are the poster people for DECEPTION.
IMO
best regards,

Or holding off until after the they testify hoping the A's change their ways. I think LE is giving them a little leeway hoping the A's will do the right thing at trial.
Now if the A's get on the stand and repeat stories they now know are not true, LE may not be so kind.

Good Morning Pru,
Your right about those camera's. The Anthony's have nothing to offer any family. They must remain in the spot light and detract from any other tragedy or any other family coping. They're a hinderance and a distraction.
Placing the Caylee logo's on everything screams marketing not solace.
The worst part is who they're targeting. People in a desperate situation. This should be illegal.

Good morning all...I thought today was when the judge would rule on Cindy answering the credit card question but I see I must wait a little longer. I hope ZG's case is not dismissed.
On another thought, does anyone remember when the Tampa/nanny car wreck lie was supposed to have occurred?

Deputy Who Missed Chance To Find Caylee Resigns
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Orange County Sheriff's Office deputy Richard Cain resigned Monday rather than appealing his firing in connection with the Casey Anthony case.
Cain handled a call in August 2008 to the Orange County site where Caylee eventually was found. He dismissed it as nothing but trash.

June 23...I think. jmo
ETA - page 43 http://www.momlogic.com/cdn/v3/pdf/c...statements.pdf
From Tampa PD's report: The trip to the hospital would have fallen between June 23 and June 26 of '08.

Good morning
I believe it was around the 23 of June, the story of her in Tampa conflicted with the gas can story on the 24th. I gues the revised revision is that Casey came back up from Tampa to get Z's insurance card and that is why she was in the area. IMO, its all so stupid.

IMO Caseys defense is putting out no legal reasoning to be considered. Pleading ambulance chasing and with the Anthony's and Casey pleading the fifth and not answering questions doesn't give them much grounds to dismiss. Unless today they enter something different IMO it's going forward.

Thanks for the reminder about the insurance card...I had forgotten that little tidbit. I'm still amazed that G & C were believing these stories then and that they claim to believe them now.

what if.........
Does everyone remember the taped visit between Cindy, George and Casey where Cindy tells Casey that they forgive her for things she has said and Casey replied "I haven't said anything"?
I keep thinking about that statement, and for the longest time I thought that it was about some strange skeleton this family has in their closet that the elder Ants do not want the public to know about...... But now it makes me wonder about this.......
The Anthony's get Casey's car back from the impound, reeking of death. They find Casey but not Caylee. They then go to the back yard and start tearing up the back yard even moving pavers they have back there. All before the police get a chance to do it....
What if they did find Caylee back there? What if Casey had borrowed the shovel from the neighbor and buried her underneath a paver...And Ga and CA found her and triple bagged her and threw her into the woods? They could have used the same smelly car to transport her. Come back and clean it out.....
What if... what Casey is not telling is the fact that her parents moved Caylee?? And that is the skeleton in the closet that Cindy is so worried about Casey telling? That they were the ones that moved Caylee??
I just believe in the bottom of my heart that GA and CA are way more involved then we know......

I don't either especially since George's account of the 24th mentions nothing about Tampa or any accident. He merely states that Casey told him that she was on her way back to work, that Caylee was with Z. (I guess hospitals have become very lax), and that she would be home later that night or the next day.

I really think what Cindy was trying to tell Casey was to keep her mouth shut and don't confess. I think if Cindy and George had been involved in moving Caylee, the police would never have been called...they would have disposed of the car and claimed Caylee was with her bio father's family touring the world and would be home when she was 16.

They can be charged with perjury if they try and lie at the trial. If the other judge does not drop the civil case and forces the Anthonys to answer, this might further their realization about the potential of their own incarceration. If they had continued the Zenaida defense on LKL, I think they would have opened themselves to being sued by ZG.

I'm not sure but I would think that if they were charged with obstrustion before the trial then they could plead the 5th to not testify. Maybe they would be charged after the trial and also for perjury.

That hospital was evidently very lax....didn't they miss a very serious cut on her head in the ER?
I have to review Casey's lies every so often because they are just so outrageously unbelievable and unlike Cindy, I don't think there's any truth at all in a great many of them.

Well, of course they have the fact that CINDY says this is not the right Nanny, and we should all believe everything she says, so case dismissed!!

When my daughter was 3 she stood in front of me with a cookie in her hand and chocolate all over her face stomping up and down telling me she did NOT take a cookie. I asked her what she had in her hand. She said 'a cookie'. I took her to the mirror and asked her what was all over her face, she replied 'cookie'. I asked her if she took the cookie. 'No', she said. I have thought about the cookie each time I have caught her in a lie. I look for the cookie in her hand or on her face. Although she was teeny at the time, it awakened me. Cute then, not so much when they are older. I have had to call her out on the 'cookie' many a time.
I am surprised George and Cindy did not have accidents, living with their eyes wide shut and all.
