What does it mean when grandparents have applied to the court for Guardianship of a child as an incapacitated person and joint guardianship of the estate when they have joint custody with another set of grandparents?
It sounds like one set of grandparents are trying to get exclusive control of child and estate. Your question was vague on information.
Thanks, I think you are correct. The people who filed, their daughter is in prison for the murder of her husband. She was sentenced for 25 years. There is joint custody with the parents of the murdered man. Is it possible that they are trying to get control of the insurance of the murdered victim? He was in the Airforce and I am sure he had life insurance because he had been to Iraq and Afghanistan. His son would be the beneficiary. They already receive a monthly payment for their grandson. Some people are never happy!
