Help !! Looking for name of book. Came out 30yrs ago. Paperback. About a boy going to a san francisco school studing ingeneering. He's from india, and he falls in love with this girl. Its in the day of hippies. He takes her to the movies and because there knees touched in the theator he thinks there all in love and they have practicly done the deed. Any ways he ends up killing her and get sent back to india. I cant remember the name of the book...i thought the look into his culture and back ground was very interesting,
