March 24 continuing on

I noticed that the March 16 thread was closed. I wonder if anyone has found any other news clips from the closing yesterday?

There should be some entertaining updates today.

Hi Curlyjo

CW made a sticky of the thread below, so most folks are now posting there. There are some links referenced - but also lots on the previous thread that was closed

Yes, I am curious to see how Weinberg will try to undermine Tru's closing.

Truc was brillant yesterday. I just finished reading Sprocket's account and from that I think she hit it out the park. I also agree with Sprocket, the defense played dumb so they could have time to change their closing to dispute Truc's.

Smile Light a candle for Lana?

Oh to have been a fly on the wall in that courtroom these last six months...

In the meantime, if you are so inclined, you could light a candle or two for Lana Clarkson.

Done. But, oh, they only stay lit for 48 hours, it said.

...Meanwhile, did I understand correctly defense closing was today? Didn't see mention of it, or any recap, around here.

You are right about the defense closing today. A very little bit here by our own My2Cents but she was not able to get into the courtroom this morning. Maybe she had better luck this afternoon. My2C reported someone told her the defense CA was boring.

I am always at that candle site for that very reason ...48 hrs goes by very quickly.

I doubt it will matter - any more than it did with OJ.

Overwhelming evidence? Just evidence that has been altered by little ol PS!!!!

Care to point out some of the "overwhelming physical and scientific evidence" that points to a not guilty? I have yet to get a rational answer to that question from any of the not guilty posters anywhere.

Am I the only one who gets annoyed when newscasters misstate facts?

Last night kudos to Jane Velez Mitchell for at least covering the CA and showing exerpts, reminding us all of the outrage of Spector's not having spent a night in jail in SIX LONG YEARS while Lana is dead at his hands. BUT-- she made a major mistake and no one corrected her unless you count my yelling at the tv. She said Lana was shot in "the roof of her mouth."

No, Jane she was shot in the rear of her mouth, in her throat. And in fact, that is one of the facts which says it wasn't suicide.

Next, the report this morning on KABC tv. The reporter said that Truc Do would do her rebuttal close today. Hmm?? Isn't Alan Jackson handling that??

This is what happens when reporters parachute in. They get things wrong. It's annoying.

Justice for Lana at long last!! Guilty of murder!!

Thank You for that information last night...

I was really happy to see JVM so riled up about the defense yesterday, but her facts, or lack of correct facts was a big let down. Good intentions do not make up for the total lack of attention paid to this case by the MSM. Last night was a good example of them trying to fluff their way through the segment. I have read a lot of incorrect information about this case the last few days. Yet, they get a pay check anyway for reporting wrong information. Hmmm...must be nice

OT, but I will just say that I enjoyed the relaxed rather humble JVM in the days that she occasionally filled in on Court TV and for Nancy Grace. Now she loses me the minute she shouts, "Stunning" news blah blah, blah before every sentence she begins!
