Detroit mayor, Kwame Kilpatrick, freed from jail

Interesting - in this article it says he retained a civil attorney to look into any civil rights violations that might have occurred -he claims his text messages were illegally obtained.

I was watching the news and he was mad because he couldn't have his cell phone and was talking about suing for that...have you EVER heard of an inmate allowed to retain a cell phone? He makes me sick and I was in shock when the city voted him in for the second term...you reap what you sow Detroit.

He has been digging in the Detroit's pocket for a long time now - he will continue to do so with lawsuits. Detroit certainly got more than they bargained for with this clown.

I agree. If that were you or me who perjured yourseld in court we would be sitting in jail a long long time. I'll bet he was never mixed with general population while in jail.
