Cuestions for Gricar Family Members

I know this is wishful thinking on my part, but I wish that Tony or others could answer some questions for us on the case. And I know that Tony probably feels like everything is just a rehash of days gone by...but it would really help IMO, if he could clarify some things for us.

1) What was the explanation given for the latest report of no fingerprints, versus earlier reports of all the prints belonging to RG?

2) What is your opinion of the Carolyn Fenton sighting -- did her story morph over time?

3) According to a quote in Bosak's blog attributed to Buehner, Buehner claimed that he knew for a fact that the hotels near Lewisburg were not checked......is this true?

4) Do you have any details on the Huntingdon sighting?

5) You (Tony) had previously written that it was your understanding that the phone call was to let Patty know he was taking the other 1/2 of the day off.....do you still believe that to be the case?

6) Why does it seem that the family holds some disdain for Wedler & Arnold?

TG has posted that Fenton has basically changed in this regard. Iniitially, she wasn't sure, but later became positive it was RFG.

Buehner never said that. He used a 30 mile radius, and my understanding is that not all motels in that radius were checked. Local motels were checked and I've never seen Buehner or PB say anything differently.

Note that TG was at the press conference where the statement was made, presumably by Dixon.

Would you cite an example of the "disdain" for Wedler on behalf of the family?

I've heard precisely two things that were even slightly negative. Some posters disagreed with her policy decision to oppose full time status for the DA in the early 1990's (and I'm one of them). One poster, IIRC, complained that she went to the Press and not LE. I've never heard the family complain and except for here, Wedler generally doesn't come up in conversation.

Arnold is a bit different, but some of it occurred because: A., she never talked to the family about the case. B., her Googlepages.

• Buehner called for a canvass of every hotel and motel in a 30-mile radius around Lewisburg. His theory is that if Ray was seen in Lewisburg both April 15 and 16, 2005, he had to stay somewhere since he didn't return home to Bellefonte.

"Logic would dictate he spent, somewhere in this area, Friday night," Buehner said. "I know for a fact that was not done, which tells us there has been a need from the beginning that an agency bigger than one investigator from Bellefonte Borough is needed to investigate."

I think Pgal's question for any family member who might know the answer is this:

Is BB's assertion that all motels within a 30-mile radius weren't checked accurate or inaccurate?

To which I would add, in regard to female registrants of a certain description...not just RG or RG types.

So far as I've heard, no, though Lewisburg area motels were checked for "RG types."
