New book by Cyril Wecht, MD, JD

"A Question of Murder: Compelling Cases of a Famed Forensic Pathologist" is out now in hardback by Prometheus Books. In bookstores or at Barnes & Noble online.

Co-authored with true crime reporter Dawna Kaufmann, the book details Dr. Wecht's second autopsy on Daniel Smith, Anna Nicole's son -- as well as his work on Anna's own death probe and the murder investigations of two San Diego children, Stephanie Crowe and Danielle van Dam. The last chapter describes what happened in New Orleans during and after Hurricane Katrina when elderly but viable hospital patients died of mysterious drug overdoses. Each case is covered comprehensively and researched with voluminous end notes and an index.

Ann Rule wrote a very glowing foreword for the book, and the cover has blurbs from some of the most impressive names in forensic science and law.

I even caught a reference to this forum (in its Court TV days) and Coldwater!
