I just would like to say after reading the bio that you wrote about Lana I am saddened that your family as well as the world have lost such a beautiful and talanted human being. I wish someone could have been there 6 years ago today, to warn you, "DON'T GO". To warn you about this man. To tell you that he is carrying a gun on him right now (because apparently he never leaves without it). To tell you not to be alone with this man, especially when he's been drinking. To tell you that he won't help your career, he will recklessly end your life.

This was approximately the EXACT TIME, 6 years ago today, that Phil Spector entered the House of Blues and Lana met him for the first time. I am so sorry Lana, Mrs Clarkson and all of Lana's loved ones, that someone wasn't there to warn her, . . . "DON'T GO".

I have been up for hours thinking about this beautiful young woman and how her life was taken so quickly, so carelessly.

Enough, enough now ~

I am now done with that and will only think of the joy and happiness she gave to so many and the love her family has for her still. Each day she fills my thoughts and no doubt will until this case is brought to a guilty verdict. For those who might like to remember Lana by lighting a candle for her...

Thank you, My 2 Cents, for starting this thread. I believe that remembering Lana, and talking about her, is a way of honoring her. Thinking of what her life may have been like if she had just gone back to her own house after her shift that night is painful. There are always so many "what if's" and "if only's" in everyones life. Though we know they serve no purpose, we still continue to wonder. I can't imagine how difficult those "if only" and "what if" thoughts must go through her mother's mind.

And Kennedy, I came across the link you gave awhile ago. Thank you for posting it. That video seems to really make it even more real that Lana was a beautiful woman with an obviously beautiful soul and spirit that radiated from her.

You summed it all up for me. That part of Alan Jackson's closing arguements to this day, still give me goosebumps. Hopefully, other women will trust their gut and not give in to invitations from the unknown sleezeballs that troll.
