Good deal. The guy with the gun should get some time, the guy who was a last minute addition, threatened no one and just thought he was carrying stuff should be let off as easy as possible.

TX warhorse and restitution hearing regarding property correct?

This transcript from On the record with Greta from Sunday 10/7 has a short interview with Christy Hayes who was on the phone with Bruce Fromong regarding the memorabilia that I thought was interesting.

It's about 3/4 down at the end.

VAN SUSTEREN: Had Bruce taken the stuff improperly from Michael Gilbert?

HAYES: Yes, he did. What had happened was the stuff was in a locker that was in my name, and the only reason it was in my name was Mike Gilbert had asked me to put it into my name because Al Beardsley had threatened him that he knew where his locker was and he was going to go get the stuff.

So Mike asked me to put it in my name in a locker.

VAN SUSTEREN: And then Bruce got out of there. So basically the situation, and we have only 30 seconds left, is that it's Mike Gilbert's stuff. He claims that Bruce took the stuff improperly, brought it to the room. O.J. says that's his stuff, and he was going to the room because he said that Bruce inappropriately, or Mike Gilbert, had the stuff. So everyone is claiming the same stuff with their guns involved.

HAYES: Absolutely.

-----

Is this the items that Beardsley told OJ he knew how to get more of his stuff back after they made up after the robbery?

Good Grief - Lockers stuffed with skeletons is more like it. Everyone was in on something. No honor among thieves.

Gleaning over Judge Glass's docket it says court to start at 8:30am. Her docket is full with many starting at that time so I'm not sure that that is accurate.

Time is unknown. Judge Glass will stop the trial she is in now to sentence them. Not known if she will wait until all defendants & their lawyers are there & do it @ one time or if she will sentence one by one as they arrive.

Don't know if it's broadcast anywhere else besides TruTV.

He's not pleased. I'll bet
he wanted the judge to know that he is still not OK - has shoulder damage and cannot have an operation to repair it due to his heart problems. I think the judge thinks no one was hurt in the robbery.

I think it was the McClinton sentence that put Fromong over the edge. I, too, would be really upset at a gun aimed in my face. Maybe Fromong will got something out of the restitution phase. He needs his medcal bills paid I would think.

They all received suspended sentences with probation & terms for that probation for 3-4 years that includes curfew, community service, petty larcency counseling, dna test.

Fromong had to be escorted from the courtroom & bldg. after saying loud enough to be heard "You've got to be kidding me" after McClinton's sentencing.

Should be interesting. Fromong couldn't behave himself in court today and got tossed...not out of court, but out of building. Looked like a ruffled turkey to me.....

Unbelievable! Wasn't it stated by OJ's attorney's that Fromong didn't want this prosecuted. What's up with that?

I don't blame him, do you? Yale goes around the talk shows saying no one got hurt: another lie. Fromong's life will never be the same.... he's not OK.

ITA. I don't have time now but I'm going to see if I can find the exact wording from yesterday. The above is why I was shocked to hear that both Fromong and Beardsley stated they didn't want this prosecuted per Yale or Grasso yesterday.

I think Beardsley still thinks there is something to get by being OJ's buddy ( he's not the sharpest tool in the box, is he?).
Bruce Fromong is angry and doesn't give a darn if he used to be a friend of OJ's. I don't think I've ever heard a report of him saying he didn't want the case prosecuted.
Looking forward to hearing what you find out.

I think McClinton SHOULD have got at LEAST 1 yr in the county jail. I would be jerked if I were Fromong too. Admitting his guilt should not (basically) absolve him from some tuffer punishment than the 3 that didnt pull a gun out to menis the victims.

JMO

Good day to you all and I hope that you will have a Very Merry Christmas season...

Thanks for the info warhorse. I figured they'd all get probation due to their plea deal.

As Kimberly Guilfoyle said re OJ on Geraldo Saturday evening foolish foolish man.

Anything yet?

Also Maybe I misunderstood when they said restitution hearing. I thought this had to do with returning of the memorbilia and making a decision of who will decide it's rightful owner.

Anyone?

I know this doesn't constitute fact but I've found reference to what Yale said in court on the darwin exception:

http://thedarwinexception.wordpress.com/

"Yale Gallanter then got up and kissed the judge’s *deleted*, telling her what a pleasure it was to practice law in front of her, and that, as always, he’s concerned that this whole thing is about payback, even thought he judge says it isn’t, it is, and that in this case, OJ was stupid. Just stupid. Not criminal, just stupid. ]Oh, and Fromong and Beardsley aren’t even pissed. And even people that hate OJ say “Right outcome, wrong crime”. And OJ wasn’t stealthful. But he was emotional. And it was his stuff - and how many robberies does the judge get before her where the stolen property has the defendant’s name on it? That’s gotta mean something, right?

I know I heard it come out of his mouth before sentencing during the live stream and after today's Fromong removal you have to wonder what's going on. Was that a bold face lie by Grasso/Yale? Did Fromong only want the gunmen sentenced and not OJ? Gunman wouldn't be there if it wasn't for OJ.

Hmmmm

Furmong was on the end of Jami's show, he said he thought he should have had some time for putting a gun to his face and I agree.

I also agree but deals were cut with the state for their testimony and I think that's what got him probation. That and no priors but mostly the deal that was cut.

Any reference to Fromongs thoughts on OJ's sentence? In particular that he should not have been prosecuted?

I saw Furmong on a show fri. after OJ sentence, and he said he thought it was fair, he did not want to interfere either way with the sentence ,that is why he was not there at OJ's sentence, he also said today he thought McClinton should have at least got a year, and basically the guys with the guns should have done some time. It really annoys me how Jami keeps saying there was no big deal it was only because of OJ, those guys in the room were obviously terrified with a gun pointed at their face, that IS a crime Jami.I get so tired of her excuses for OJ, she has lost total credibility.Watch her last word segment today, it should be on cnn.com

Jami's last word is never her last word . Thanks for the info. I didn't think Fromong said that and it was being spun.

I don't believe Fromong said that. Yale's trying to claim he's not even pissed - from what I've seen, that's quite simply untrue - Fromong is definitely pissed. And there's not a time when Fromong has said not to prosecute him.
