ASHLAND — A settlement may be near in veteran Police Officer Charles Garbarino's lawsuit against the town and former Police Chief Roy Melnick.
All sides in the suit met Jan. 7 to try to settle the suit before it heads to a scheduled Feb. 4 trial in U.S. District Court, according to court records.
