Thank you JBL. Curious though why McClinton will receive more years than the others.

Heh heh.

I'd also looked up Grasso's court calendar WHOA - I thought OJ was his only client. He can't be doing to much babysitting for OJ with that docket.

Awww poor OJ, doesn't have his own private lawyer @ his beck & call 24/7 like he did with Yale.

They're all FURIOUS! I would be to but hey they got sucked into that affable and may I add nefarious OJ persona.

Well except for Beardsley. He's not furious. Still hooked and in awe.

Anybody watching this hearing? I was in the kitchen when it started but if the allegations about the jury foreman are true, these men do deserve a new trial (and it really chaps me to say that).

I must admit I like the way OJ looks in jail garb though.

Motion denied. No hearing, no retrial...issues are preserved for appeal.

Yale asks for bail again, has a bail bondsman all lined up. Judge Glass says no again.

LMAO those allegations from a spiteful attorney (s) about the jury foreman.

More in line with grasping at straws.

They took the foreman's words out of context. If you see the whole tape plus several articles where the foreman came forward to speak on his behalf regarding the accusations against him - IMO he was credible.

Like the rumours that the foreman held the jury hostage until the 13th day of the 13th hour of the 13th aniversary. hahahaha

Missed it never loaded darn Las Vegas Now
http://www.lasvegasnow.com/
Watch live streaming coverage of O.J. Simpson requesting a new trial.

OMG remember last time he had a bailsbondsman set up. Jackie Glass asked who it was and he had to admit he really didn't have one and couldn't come up with a name. What a creature of the law. His proclamation not mine. Well there is one word in there I give credence to in describing him .

Grasso and Gallanter are on with Jami and they are just going over the jury interview, no mention of the Pepsico firing, unless I missed it.... I'm listening to Duffy's song "Mercy". I might sing it tonight but I need to hear it a few times if I'm gonna try it.

Any...on topic, I'm thinking if they had proof of the Pepsico firing, we would have been hearing more about that. If it's fictional, I would sue Grasso and Gallanter (if I were the foreman).

Aww.... Yale upset about Glass not letting convicted kidnappers "dress out" in their finery for court hearing. Guess no top hat and cane.

All motions denied as the trucks at construction site continue to "beep-beep-beep" in interviews. They are going backwards as well as Yale attempting to.

Jamie cuts off her guest who wants to talk about Obama and OJ. Jamie cuts him off (the lawyer who has the fine died beard) and says she will talk about it in her "Closing Remarks".

Oh joy.

Yale still whining about OJ to "I'm not an attorney" Ashley.

"OJ is not like your normal defendant"...his reasoning about why OJ should be treated differently than any other convicted robber.

Ok...I see.

well, he's right in one sense of the word -- orenthal isn't like your normal defendant. They don't expect celebrity treatment.

Poor CJ. I bet he wishes he'd never taken on the chore of 'rounding up some boys' for orenthal's caper.

I get so frustrated listening to these defense attny's...What's with Yale claiming OJ is special..and should be considered..because of his status as a "Famous Person".?..

I do think that Yale forgets that his client is now a convicted felon..and Photo Ops in "Fine Dress" is not part of the "Human Rights" and just maybe Yale better start looking for a NEW CLIENT..

Defense dont want to play the "Race Card"...but keep dealing that card at every turn!! Geesh.. And just where does the Defense get off claiming that one person (Foreman) could force ALL the jurors to decide a case based on his belief OJ "Should have" been found guilty 13 years ago"....It does seem to me since Defense cant find legal rulings at issue....they chose to pursuit investigating the jurors...They also chose to seat the 12 jurors..and name the alternates before the trial...as there was 2 African American jurors on the entire panel...Why not gamble for the lottery of picking the "Diliberating panel" after the case was presented?????Their gamble failed..so now they want to investigate the jurors..and so far, the only one they find any fault with is that Jury Foreman..

I dont recall just how many verdicts have been overturned due to "Jury Misconduct"..Anybody?? know the stats on that?

My visual used the index ROFL

Well these aren't the original ones but plucked from an article. If true I say 15 year minimum, maybe more. Is that kidnapping sentence x3 since victims are Fromong, Beardsley, Riccio and I'd say 1 more Cashmore was scared to leave he testified to GEEZ (and he came in with OJ)

http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2008...simpson-trial/

The kidnapping convictions each carry possible life sentences with no parole for five years.

The robbery convictions carry mandatory two-year sentences, plus an additional year, at minimum, for use of a deadly weapon.

The burglary conviction carries a mandatory two- to 15-year sentence and a possible fine of up to $15,000.

The coercion convictions carry mandatory one- to six-year sentences and a possible fine of up to $5,000.

The assault convictions carry mandatory one- to six-year sentences and a possible fine of up to $5,000.

Conspiracy to commit kidnapping carries a mandatory one- to six-year sentence and a possible fine of up to $5,000.

Conspiracy to commit robbery carries a mandatory one- to six-year sentence and a possible fine of up to $5,000.

Conspiracy to commit a crime is a gross misdemeanor that carries a possible probationable one-year sentence and/or $2,000 fine.

What? OJ didn't want to wear "ugly ***" prison togs? You've got to be kidding - he was going in front of the judge, not a jury! She knows who she's dealing with and any assumption of innocence is over.

I could be wrong (shocking thought, I know) but I think in some states not all attorneys are certified to handle appeals cases to higher courts.
