Flamming Mad A Question

I think I am on the wrong message board... if I am I am so sorry...
I was looking for some one who can answer a question for me.

My question is... is it ileegal for Gaurdian Altens to make their own copies of a fax that belongs to you?

I had to fax some medical info on Friday to a health facility...I also had an app with the Gaurdian Altims in my divorce case.So i couldnt do both.

They offered to let me use their fax machine. However when i got there they handed me the cover sheet...I filled it out.. then one said I will fax it for you while you speak to ther other gaurdian. I couldnt really say no thank you considering right now I need them on my side...

When I was done talking to the one Gaurdian and the other did the faxing ..she them brought me my fax and said to the other one " I made us our own copies." I was floored!
Is this illegal? Also considering they were some of my childs medical information from a medical eval she had done.

I have not signed any release forms to the gaurdians as of yet....so they cant use THAT excuse.

Again I appologize if I am on the wrong board....

These are also the same people that MADE me change my childs Dr.I had been taking her to a family Practice Dr as well as with my other children. My child is almost 9 years old...and they made me change her DR to a peditrician.

Any advice is appreciated and my email is Curls4mygirls2@aol.com

If you mean guardian ad litem, apparantly there is some type of court appointed authority vested here.

Generally, I don't see anything improper about making a copy for thier records, as long as your privacy is not invaded in the future concerning it.

Not an attorney, so take it for what it's worth.

I say it is okay then, as they need specific documentation in compliance with thier fiduciary duty.

You are welcome.
