Question: I don't know if it matters at all, but do we know why Casey got fired from Universal (or Kodak, or whatever)?

Someone posted yesterday that Casey more or less abandoned her position with the result that they let her go. Supposedly she was a good employee and they anticipated giving her a promotion. I don't know where the poster got the info.

I saw that post yesterday and it sounded familiar then, like I had heard that before. But after so many days in this case, so many interviews and articles.....who knows.

I know what you mean! If it is true, I wonder what was going on at that time, i.e., what would Casey have been up to that she just quit going to work?

If I'd had any clue this was going to be this screwed up I would have kept better records. As it is I have a folder with so many links it take hours to find what I'm looking for.

I'm pretty sure it was her old boss that was interviewed on TV. That's what he said, anyway. I'll see if I can find it.

Ok, so I should have let someone else try this, bringing over posts from the morning thread thing, because I am a novice, LOL beacuase, I ended up putting all of these posts right back on the morning thread somehow, so this is my second shot at this. Hope it worked, and I have to go soon and just wanted to say...Thanks to all the inquiring, imaginative, and humorous minds on here. You are always so interesting that I am now addicted to this site!! Have a great afternoon all

I don't think it was her boss, seems like it was one of the red haired reporters that are on NG.

Didn't Casey work for Kodak before she met Jesse? I know she was pregnant before she met him. Sounds like he really didn't know all there was to know about the disco queen.

The operative word being "they".
I don't think Jesse knew what Casey was doing when she wasn't around him.

I do not think Jesse knew her as well as he thought he did. He and his family seemed fairly confused as to how she turned into what she has become now. JMO

I think his dad didn't know, but Jessie said she was a "chameleon" and a "pathological liar."

Umm, Frankie got that from the statement from her boss where he states that he had to talk to her about her partying when she had to work during the day.
Where on earth did you get that the ONLY thing he had to talk to her about was being too friendly with employess?

Kozak, who had a photo-imaging contract at Universal Orlando, told detectives that on one occasion he had told her that she can't manage people during the day and then go out partying with them at night.
That's how that quote should have read.

Quit putting words in my messages that do not exist. I never said that he didn't like her. Read it again.
Go and read his deposition, too.

Let me get technical for a moment...it's not a "deposition," it's an interview. A deposition is video taped, and the person is questioned by an attorney, and cross-examined by the defense. imo

Not all depositions are video taped, but they are transcribed.

And when a deposition is given isn't there a court reporter typing away, or are they replaced by the video.

As a matter of fact, many people travel with a shovel, and dig up wild lilies, lilac bushes, flowers and such. I see that a lot. imo

I do remember that, but not sure of the date or where I heard it. Bad if the sheriff didn't respond.

Here's her ex-boss' LE interview from Universal. He liked her, he put her in management training. He had to tell her she couldn't party all night with the people she was managing. She requested the Kodak job after she told him she was pregnant. Then she simply abandoned her job, so that's why she got fired.

Mike Kozak said she basicly disappeared. Kodak filed termination papers for job abandonment when colorvision took over Kodak. Casey was suppose to go to a seminar to update her job application during the transition... http://www.cfnews13.com/uploadedFile...Transcript.pdf

The only news I've heard is contained in this video...
Eighty five witnesses are expected to take the stand in the event this goes to trial.
