Just got supper and dishes finished, and read the last few pages of this afternoon's thread. I noticed someone said that Casey took $40,000 from her grandparents. Was that figure in the documents somewhere? I'd never heard how much she took.

Thanks to the poster for the updated text messages!! What I found interesting was that Casey was actually able to get letters out to her family through Baez.
Lee also warned Cindy not to talk about any letters.

Okay, so there was discussion about Amy claiming that Casey text messaged Ricardo on the 16th - some debate on whether Casey would have been able to do so or not, since she was arrested that day..

She obviously wasn't arrested until late afternoon because I am looking at Brittany's phone records and Casey text messaged her at 16:13:51 on 16/07/08

So at 4:13 pm on the 16th - she was still text messaging her friends.

there was a camera man there a little bit ago with camera on top of the stand. then it was gone.

thanks. I might have misread it. I was trying to hurry because I can't stay awake a whole lot longer. LOL. I've been doing chemo all summer, and thankfully, don't have too many side effects, except for being sleepy most of the time......... it's as bad as being pregnant!

If it's true, I'm sure Nancy will talk about it tonight.

I'm not sure what to make of Lee. He seemed very forward in giving accurate information about everything. Except for why it took him so long to get Casey's things. Which may come out later. I also believe there can be neurological issues that cause this to happen. For him to be so forthcoming I'd say he has issues as to his giggling at inappropriate times. Just my opinion though.

I do have to say, that although I think nerves can cause the inappropriate laughter, that Lee has not expressed any sorrow for Caylee.

That is correct. We can ponder why. I think Cindy was abusive, a virtual juggernaut of abuse verbally. I think Casey did not live up to expectations and Casey felt that pressure. It was building. Casey created a fantasy life sometime after Caylee was born, probably right after and during her dismissal from her high profile brag about job at Universal. She never recovered. She was broken on the 15th of June and did the unthinkable out of mere spite. None of this family will recover. True unpredictable tragedy.

CW is cleaning up stuff on that other thread but there was a link within the last 5 pages back where sources told the media thats what Casey told Cindy.
