West coast viewers of the oj trial

In Session originally said they'd be extending their daytime coverage of the trial and that it would go until 6:00 p.m. in California. Because of that they're not ending their trial coverage at 3:00 in Calif as they usually do. EXCEPT when I go to view the trial coverage after 3:00 in my time zone i don't get the trial. I get the regular programming for those time slots.

Is anyone anywhere getting extended trial coverage past the normal "quitting" time? It's frustrating to lose coverage while I know they're still covering it.

Just wondered if anyone else is as upset over this as I am.

oh thank you. i live in the south bay myself so we're not too far apart. ok then i'm not the only one missing it after 3:00. not that that makes me feel any better. haha i'm catching the live stream at The Legal Edge site anyway so no big deal but i wondered if i had just gotten confoozed about what In Session had said.

thanks for the confirmation.

Thanks, Ann. I'm still trying to get into the trial. It was good to see Vinnie today.

I live in Hawaii. I get In Session from 6 AM to 12 PM daily, even when when extended coverage is announced. I know that I have mentioned it before, but I long for the days of the gavel to gavel coverage of Court TV, and then the discussion shows of the days events, first with Nancy, and then when Catherine took over. I learned a great deal about the law, defense attorney tactics, competent and incompetent Judges, and court room behavior with that full coverage, and then the commentary shows. Imagine someone extremely capable like Judge Jackie Glass presiding during the Simpson murder trial, rather than Judge Ito. Due to the change in venue, the verdict might not have been different. But, the court room would not have been a circus arena, and it would not have taken 9 plus months from opening statements to verdict. Tru TV's format is like watching snippets of a trial, and is very annoying at times when important testimony is interrupted for commercial breaks. Court TV always managed to wait until a sidebar or a lull in the proceedings before taking a commercial break. Personally, I find it difficult to believe that any of the "reality" programming of Tru TV gets better ratings than a full day of Court TV trial coverage followed by Nancy, and then Catherine. I also enjoyed the one hour specials with highlights, commentary, and jury input after verdicts were reached. My biggest peeve is when there is a verdict watch, and the verdict comes in late in the day, and unless I find a third party Internet link, I have to wait until the next day to see the verdict. I can't remember the trial, but it was just about noon here, and Jack Ford announced that the jury was entering the court room with a verdict, he then signed off for In Session, and some insipid Tru TV "reality" show began. It was reminiscent of the big to do when an important football game was cut off to show the made for TV film Heidi. Boy was I angry. Since the new format, I have never watched, or had any interest in watching any of the Tru TV "reality" shows.
