Good Morning all,

I have a lot of catching up to do. I didn't watch NG last night. Did I miss anything significant? What are your thoughts on this Hawkins guy? Another innocent victim who knew Casey and got mixed up in this mess? Or does he know more?

I guess she's bailing out AGAIN today. I wish they would slap her with murder charges and keep her there.

I want it to be the 16th. On the 18th, I have to go to the dr. and get stuck again. I've given those people almost as much blood as I have given them money!

based on these new charges and thereby keep her in jail. I am sure the police know that as long as she is out of their control, they have no shot at getting any info; even having her in jail doesn't give them much of a shot at getting information necessary to find Caylee.

Casey turned herself in Monday after meeting with her case manager.

She'll appear in court to have bond set on the new charges. The judge does have discretion setting bond but the usual amount for the charges Casey faces is $1,500.

Wishful thinking but wouldn't it be a kick in Casey's pants if the Judge sets a bond higher than the usual?
Wouldn't matter I guess because someone will come up with it.

Wouldn't matter I guess because someone will come up with it.

It would be interesting if the judge mentions the 42 incidents at the home and denies bond. That probably won't happen though.

He went to school with Casey. He is USMC and stationed in 29 Palms, CA. He called LE when he heard Caylee was missing. He told LE he communicated almost daily with Casey via internet or phone. His mother lives in FL and saw Casey July 10 (I think) at Target.

Casey told him a couple of weeks before Caylee disappeared she was planning a trip to CA. She had something important to tell him, she had shared this info with her mother and brother and she did not know how he would react when he heard her news.

Thanks you. Sounds like she may have been planning on moving out there....maybe to join him after she got rid of Caylee? I wouldn't put anything past her. After listening to the tapes, she reminded me of Scott Peterson. Neither one seemed to be concerned with consequences as long as they got what they got what they wanted.

Hey everybody, for those wondering I had a Wonderful 24th Birthday. I went Shopping at Ulta (a Makeup Store) and Borders; then I went out to eat at Chili's With my Mother and Step-Father.

Never thought that Casey would be arrested on my Birthday. I guess I got one of my Birthday Wishes.

Makes no sense that CA & GA complain about the people standing on the side lines of their property, messageboards clicking away, media talking heads who are all collectively out-raged & questioning this who-yah story. Because I can see now CA & GA strong personalities & bold stances doing the exact same thing if shoe on other foot.
IMO they will never make a 'save' on this entire..Even the best of all the outcomes for them.. Casey gets away with murder it will follow all of them forever

This is the beginnings of the factual information about Mark and how he comes into this.
What does it mean? Nothing except that he IS significant to Casey. Very few peers have had contact with Casey for years, Kiomarie, Ms. Chester, Ryan P., Jesse Grund, and Mark Hawkins are the only names I know of in this investigation that go back years.
Mark is the only one to my knowledge who had ceased having contact with Casey for a distinct time period, and she suddenly called him up to reconnect in some capacity right around the time Caylee went missing and her life changed dramatically in several ways( it was before Caylee was gone AFAIK).
I want to see why he was significant enough to Casey to find and begin an ongoing relationship with again ( nothing romantic intended to be inferred).
This is important to her somehow, maybe he was just a place to run to and that's all...maybe there is more. I do not see anything insidious on his behalf. FWIW, I do think LE has some puzzle pieces regarding him that we do not.

Still nothing else but more internet rumors to add. I've found a few other "Mark Hawkins" related things, but have no way to veify if they relate to this one. It is a common enough name.

I would hope that Casey stays in jail a while- just to give her neighbors on Hopespring a little PEACE. Will the protesters still show up, even if she's not there? How about the cameras? Whisch came first- the protesters or the cameras? Cindy & Geo could perhaps save a little $$$ on bodyguards and yellow tape if she stayed in jail . Perhaps they could use that $$$ to help fine Caylee.
