It doesn't appear that LE is going to file murder charges unless mortal remains are located.

They may think a jury won't convict. That's too bad because I could convict on the evidence so far.

If they can discredit the Zanny story with cell records etc, I agree.

Her little body may never be recovered because of the amount of time that passed before LE was able to investigate.

Which is why she waited a month to say anything. She is evil, in my opinion.

There's another thread with 3 pages started already, along with this one.

Here's the link to all 8 parts of the interview:

That's probably why I didn't see it. People should really title their threads as not to confuse people. Numbers confuse me so I use the actual day in mine.

These tapes are really good. I think the police did a good job of interrogating except I would have been a bit tougher.

she is so cool, and then her laughing, and those weren't even funny things, I would have been under such stress I would have been bawling.

The date is wrong on that thread, so it's not your fault.

FrankieB:

I asked this on the last thread and think I got shut out. Do you know which of the voices we heard was the good cop of good cop/bad cop fame? TIA

Any normal twenty two year old would have been crying and yes, very emotional if they indeed lost their daughter to a kidnapper.

On tape two, I noticed that she told the police that her mother would never forgive her. One of the reasons she waited a month to tell her mother.

I really can't tell which is which by name but there is a difference in voice for sure. One has a higher pitch in his voice.

She gets VERY quiet when they hit too close to home with questions.

Yes, that is one reason why it's so slow today on the entire board and not just this thread.

I thought that Yuri and John got mad and left (they said something about the tape recorder and water) and then the recording that came up after that was either the third officer (alone) or John and Yuri came back and the more mellow of the two--John IMO--took over. Any thoughts? TIA

I wish I could help you out there. But without a visual, it's hard for me to tell.

Casey didn't kill Caylee on purpose, it was a stupid accident.

Why won't Casey's parent take a lie detector test?
That pretty much wraps that up, no?
Was it LE that said they turned down the polygraph?

I dunno, why did the GPs look under pavers and the playhouse? Are those common areas to look for missing children?

I think it was a normal progression. When the stern cop who called her on every lie didn't get anything out of this cold monster, then they left and the "good" cop came in and was sympathetic, etc. It started to work, she broke down over her mother being too hard on her, but then got ahold of herself and realized this guy seemed to be believing her and smoothly went on with her spun lies like nothing ever happened. Amazing. I'll bet the others were out in the hall saying that in all their 30 years of experience they've never seen anyone as cold and lying and monstrous as this 22 year old. MOO

What upsets me the most is that Casey keeps getting the date wrong. June 9, June 9...She can't even remember when her daughter went missing? To me, that's disgusting. imo

Yes, that sturck me as downright odd. Looking under the paving stones is OK if you're looking for a button, but not a baby - unless you know she's dead.

Isn't that the area where LE has been searching? A clue...
I feel sorry for LE.

She is cold alright and sat there and was not the least bit intimidated by three veteran detectives who have been interviewing murderers all their working lives. She is tough and may very well go to her grave never telling unless someone finds Caylee. Please from my mouth to Gods ears!!!

And smoothly told them she went to college. I mean really, she had just been found out about her job and had to admit she lied. These are things easily checked out!!! I guess that's what pathological liar is all about. They just naturally lie about everything, it is what they are inside. They don't have to think about it. What's scary to me is I am sure we have known people like this and if we don't live with them or do business with them, we have no clue. She is cold as ice. JMHO

What could be the reason for the change in the date. It's a whole week.

I have to wonder if they really were at the greatgrandfather's on Father's Day. Was this established for sure?

ITA casey does nothing but lye and until she can come out with the truth and show some kind of em. and show that she loved caylee then in my o she is guilty. I wish they would lock her up. keep her there until she thought she would never get out and then she might come out and talk but then again it might not be the truth. no one in that family will ever tell the truth. They or all covering for casey. they know little caylee is gone. I do hope le has more than they or letting us know. jmho
