That looks like it's a camera or microphone stand, or more probably, a stand for one of their floodlights for the web cam. It's going to be getting dark there soon, and they need lights so the web cam can pick up the action.

Search For Caylee Suspended Amid Wet Conditions
Demonstrators Outside Orange County Home Have Message For Casey Anthony

http://www.wesh.com/news/17415099/detail.html

Quote:
Officials suspended on Sunday the search for Caylee Anthony, the 3-year-old last seen in June.
Law enforcement directed searchers to review a 25-square-mile search area near the Orlando International Airport, but the head of the searchers deemed much of the area too far under water, WESH 2's Bob Kealing reported. Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary directed a message to Casey Anthony, the woman who he said may have the missing part to the puzzle: "If she's got information, it's best to come clean with it. She might be the missing part of that puzzle."

If it were me, I might hire a bunch of wanna-be investigators - definitely NOT top investigators because the top investigators would refuse this kind of assignment - to put a bunch of flyers around Puerto Rico and Mexico, offering to pay the travel expenses and to help with travel documents (S-1 visas are available for criminal witnesses) for anyone who comes forward willing to testify that they saw Caylee. Of the hundreds who came forward, I could interview them and select the ones who best presented themselves, who truly believed they had seen Caylee. (Probably similar to people who see Elvis, and Jesus, and UFOs, and various other unlikely sights.)

This is completely legal! Also completely immoral.

I think some areas are holding water. it might not be that deep but walking around in standing stagnant water is a health concern for the people searching.

You would think that even if casey has been advised to speak out, even as it would be near impossible for her to appear in public, and even despite the fact that none of them are talking for free now; that she could work with Baez to make a taped plea for broadcast to the kidnappers to keep Caylee safe and to please return her.
I can't see one reason that would not be done if this were a real abduction, even a "family" abduction. Of course, IMO that is not being done for exactly the same reason they aren't searching or aiding searches, and the same reason a PI has not been brought in...because it is a waste of time and $ to search for something which you had not lost. Casey doesn't HAVE to "win" in the court of public opinion, it would help but it isn't necessary (nor do I think she cares). I'd bet they are hoarding their resources for a "win" in court. that battle that will be their only chance to save the only remaining girl in the family.

I'm taking the time to pray RIGHT NOW that no one gets hurt at the vigil tonight. That neighborhood is a pressure cooker!

If anyone is interested, there is a post on WS under the "Has the Search Been Called off?" thread, page 17 post #406 by marellano that is very interesting.

I know Tim to be a very great guy and his dedication is as strong as a rock. He would never leave unless there is a very good reason. It could very well be what he said and if not he surely has very good reasons. I am praying that we have Caylee back soon either alive or deceased to hold her figuratively in our arms. I know she is in our hearts already.MOO

Did you all see this?

Some Demonstrators Arrive From Far Away

Despite the protesters, plans for a vigil remain as scheduled to take place Sunday night, WESH 2's Tim Trudell reported.

A woman who carried her 3-year-old daughter said the girl has been mistaken for Caylee. She claims that she has spoken with Casey Anthony via MySpace and had hoped to inspire her to do some more talking Sunday by dropping off a Bible. No one answered the door.

I cannot imagine the tension inside that house.

In the beginning, I understand George, Cindy and Lee wanting to be supportive and believe Casey.

Caylee has been missing for almost 3 months and Casey has gone from she left Caylee with Zanny the Nanny to Zanny and her sister Samantha knocked her down and took Caylee away from her.

I know they have been told my Baez to not ask questions or she was told not to answer their questions....so what do they talk about? The weather? Eventually one of them has to be "!#@$@#!$* Tell us what happened to Caylee!"

ETA: OK, got my picture back. Did someone put some sort of sign on the Anthony door, on top of the doorknob?

Very interesting! I found post 406 on page 12, by the way.

Hmmm, he said today’s search was eventful and productive and police tape had been put up at the location he'd been searching, blocking it off.

I have read on other message boards that the snakes have been awful.

The other vegetation, density, wading through water, wild animals wouldn't bother me but those darn snakes creep me out to no end.

I'm going to go with your gut feeling for now. I hope they have found her. I hope they can tell by forensics what happened to her. I hope that Casey goes right back to her cell. I hope whomever sets bonds that day is willing to say no bond.
