3yr old tries to save himself

http://www.click2houston.com/news/17198377/detail.html

How horrific... a 3 yr old TRYING desperately to save himself.... and yet not being able to.

I'm sorry... but I completely refuse to buy this 'I forgot' crap..... it's on the news constantly.... children dying due to being left in cars.... she worked in a hospital, she NEVER heard of this.... even when I don't have my kids w/me I find myself looking in the backseat when I get out....

I just can't accept I forgot as an excuse.

I'm sorry but these 'accidents' are just maddening!!! I hear accident, accident, accident, blah, blah, blah!!! I am not so forgiving of stupidity.

What is worse is he didn't sleep through it, he FELT every last second of that sweltering heat.

We have another case here in Cincy as well. Another mom went into work and "forgot" the 11 month old was in the car. I tell ya, that's pretty bad.

At least this one tried to get her son help, she smashed the window and rushed him into the emergency room.

The other woman with the 11 month old wouldn't even touch her baby girl. Something about that particular case doesn't sit right with me but i'll reserve judgment.

About this case, it seems odd to forget a child like a 3 year old. He must have been asleep that early in the morning. Is there any reason she forgot? It doesn't mention that there was anything out of the ordinary that day like an unscheduled stop or a routine change. It seems odd that she'd just forget one day, if nothing was different.

My heart aches for this child. He knew what was happening to him
