"Justice Delayed Is Justice Denied"

Florida executed a child killer yesterday--July 1, 2008.

Actually, the title of the article is a misnomer.

Yesterday, Florida executed a sexual predator of children.

This kidnap/rape/murder was the direct result of the EARLY RELEASE of MARK DEAN SCHWAB.

Schwab had been in prison for raping a 13 year-old boy.

One month after he obtained his EARLY RELEASE, he kidnapped, raped and murdered Junny Rios-Martinez.

I had a thread about this a few days ago but it vanished.

Glad that the execution went as scheduled and there were no problems.

Line em up!!!! Let's have more than 2 this year.

Florida has to many on DR cause of how easy it is for a jury to put them there. We just take forever to get the deed done. There are peeps who have been there since the 70's.

Agreed.

Once a rapist always a rapist.

'Crist said this week that he hopes to speed the pace of executions. Since Florida's death penalty was reinstated in 1979, the state has averaged about two executions a year. Death row has swelled to nearly 400 people.

Crist "has indicated he intends to sign additional death warrants soon," Thomas Philpot, a Crist spokesman, said Wednesday in an e-mail to the Times.'

Oba Chandler is on the short list of peeps who are up for execution!

There was a TV special about the Roger's girls. A hard working farming family. The Mom and Daughter's were taking their first ever vacation. And it was to Florida. They met a man who took them on a boat ride. Chandler killed all 3 of them and tied them to concrete blocks. Sinking their bodies into the bay.

Now there's a deserving candidate if I ever saw one. A destroyer of life...

Oba Chandler is one of the world's most depraved and cruel monsters.

He made sure when he tied them up, that they could watch as he raped each of them.

When he satiated his lust, he tossed them (while they were still alive) overboard.

There is a book about this horrible crime.: DEATH CRUISE by Don Davis.
