Searchers continued their efforts Monday to hunt for missing Bolingbrook mother Stacy Peterson.
About 10 people searched by land and water near 135th Street and the Illinois & Michigan Canal in Romeoville for evidence related to Peterson's disappearance.

Stacy Peterson May 27 thru to June 6
Starting a new thread for Stacy and her family.
IMO Drew is not being harrassed. IMO he should have been given a ticket for speeding if he was truly speeding in Naperville.

I agree, no1what. I guess he's gotta complain about something so the spotlight stays on him.

I posted this in the other thread before I saw this one
Fox is now reporting a search going on on a high tech boat called the Stacy-Anne.
They have checked 40 blue barrels and said the number of these barrels found is insane.
The report did sound promising overall and if I was DP I would be shaking.
They said Illinois waterways but would not say a specific location.

I guess I was thinking of the danger present when Roy had the lit cigerate going at the same time when he was opening the barrells. Wonder what he was thinking?? Poof!
Oh BTW thanks Riverwalk for the link.

I hope Stacy is found but Drew Peterson has always been so arrogant and adamant that she won't be found - so there is a part of me that wonders whether he truly did something like -- dismembered her or took out his airplane vessel and dumped her in a remote place.
I do not know - it doesn't seem he is too concerned about them finding her because he knows there is only a slim chance that they will.
I certainly hope that I am wrong about this.

imo if they did find Stacy the way they are handling the barrels is not by code and could contaminate any evidence. I hope they are handling the barrels in question very differently than what this video demonstrates. However if they find the barrel JB would probably use this video to show that the evidence is tainted. No gloves etc……
Also why would you open a barrel in the water that may have an unknown chemical? Should we be dumping unknown chemicals into the open waters?
I know they are doing their best but maybe they shouldn't be giving JB and Drew video evidence that could be used against the search findings.

From what I understand, the people using this boat have gone throug extensive training, and know not to comprimise any potential evidence.
Don't picture Cassandra and Sharon in this boat, it's like three guys who know what they are looking for and know what to do if they find anything.
I will not give out any names, but I do know one of the searchers is former FBI. This isn't being taken lightly, not at all.

Hi UZ, isn't this interesting.
Do you know then if they are giving more credence to the blue barrel/tub/container theory,or is this just your opinion?? Seems like a big expense to have otherwise, just wandering.

Thanks for posting this UZ. I thought I read somewhere that they were trained professionals too.
I noticed that DP has been relatively quiet since they've started this particular search with the Stacy Ann.....makes me think they very well might be on to something.

Human remains found on Lynwood farm
Human remains found on Lynwood farm
Police seeking clues to its identity
Tribune staff report4:29 PM CDT, May 28, 2008
Lynwood police are trying to determine the identity of a person whose skeletal remains were found Tuesday morning in a farmer's field.
"We're looking at missing person reports to see if there's any connection, but right now we're waiting to see if the medical examiner's office can clarify if it was male or female," said Police Chief Russell Pearson.
A farmer called police after he noticed the human remains.
"He was out fertilizing his field and got out to walk the property, which has a wooded section right off of 202nd Street and Burnham Avenue," Pearson said. "He said he noticed it right away."

IMO Stacy would be so proud of everyone here who is defending her rights as a victim.

Here's a link for ya - http://gretawire.foxnews.com/2007/12...tacy-peterson/
I hope it works - sorry, I'm not too good at the posting links thing.
Here's a quote from the story. Tell me it's not creepy!:
"Fast forward to this morning: she awoke to find 50 photos taken at a graveyard (all 5 by 7s) scattered up and down her driveway and on her yard. She says there was a Christmas stocking attached to her mailbox, and inside her mailbox, a 3 page “letter”, which included a copy of a National Inquirer article on the Peterson case, a map of a cemetary in Lynwood, IL (which is where the Inquirer speculated that Stacy’s body has been dumped), and a rambling letter that among other things, told Sharon that “this is where you can find her.”
Bychowski called police. 2 squad cars and an evidence technician responded and took a police report. I’m still awaiting a response from police on this matter."
What an odd coincidence that this letter says that Lynwood is where Stacy's body will be found. Good memory, Justice Dawg!

did anyone see this?
Will Travolta Help Get Drew Peterson Off?
Drew Peterson -- the ex-cop who's a suspect in the killing of an ex-wife and being investigated in the drowning of another -- could be getting some legal help from an unlikely (and unwitting) source: Scientolobig John Travolta.

I saw that on the news this morning. He still could have had the gun illegally. I don't think it proves anything, IMO.
I still stand behind LE and think they should charge DP every single time he breaks the law.....that includes jaywalking.

At the least, the Travlolta photo proves Drew was indeed in possession of an illegal firearm as far back as 2000.
I understand why Travolta would have needed protection while filming Battlefield Earth.
It's one of the worst films of all time.

Ha, I never saw it, but I doubt I ever will since you think it's one of the worst films of all time!
I wonder how Travolta would feel now, considering that a murder suspect was supposedly protecting him. I know I'd be a little creeped out.

YNWOOD (WLS) -- Police in south suburban Lynwood are trying to identify human remains found on a farm.
A farmer found bones scattered around his field.
Investigators believe animals probably moved them around.
The body is a male.

IMO what would be really coincidental is if this male body was placed there back in Oct. 2007. That would make the psychic a little on track but with the wrong victim.

That's for sure.
From the link:
“You guys ruined it for me, again,” Peterson, 54, said of his romance with 22-year-old tanning salon worker Kim Matuska.
“It’s too much for her,” said Peterson, whose 24-year-old wife, Stacy, has been missing since October. “You got producers trying to get her on television shows, the state police, grand juries. It’s too much.”
So much, Peterson said, that he has become rather pessimistic about his prospects with the fairer sex.
~End Quote~
I sincerely hope Drew's love affair with the media is over.
But I doubt it.

Another reason to avoid tanning salons. The radiation apparently makes Drew Peterson appear attractive in some way.

Joe Hosey said that the 22 year old and Drew were dating, right? Isn't that the person that is writing a book about Drew? Didn't Joel say there was nothing going on between the two of them? Now I'll have to go research....
