Not sure this has been posted. Fox Alert just reported that the folks still at the ranch MUST submit dna or they will probably never see their children again. No link yet.

I wished she would have asked each of them individually "how many children do you have and how do you support them?" Obviously they won't say how many wives they have since polygamy is a crime, but they can say without self-incrimination how many children they have.

We've seen on the various morning shows only about 6 or 7 men maybe (and they've all been relatively young). I'd like to know exactly how many fathers are involved for the 400+ children. Speculation has been that the worst offenders have gone underground or to other compounds.

Add in, "What are their names, and ages" to your question... I'm more and more disturbed that they talk about "the children," but not by name, age, sex... And, unless I've missed it, rarely if ever do they refer to "MY" child, "MY" children. Creepy.

I notice in the video they are quite specific in their wording that their children have suffered no abuse in that way (meaning sexual). They didn't say there was no abuse period, no abuse of any kind.

The one guy on the end seems to gloss over the fact that even if a 14 yr old could legally get married 6 yrs ago, being married to more than one person has been against the law for many years so if he has more than one wife no matter what the age, he's a criminal.

If there are children whose DNA doesn't match any of the men currently in the compound how will they explain that since they are so morally clean? Maybe they could plead immaculate conception.

Also... Someone tried to ask them about the teenage brides, they countered with "we're talking about the children." (I think it was the Larry King interview.) They don't consider the married girls to be children any more... so (in their eyes) how can it be child abuse?

I had a feeling that there would be children there, that would have one or no parents on the compound. Wait and see I guess. Good for the Man from Nevada.

Their were 65 men on the Texas compound. Only a handful remain. The last report I heard was 10-12 men remain. My guess...the ones that remain have probably not married or had sexual relations with a minor. All the others are missing in action...running like scared rabbits into their holes. They leave their 'wives' to fight for their religious beliefs and the return of their children.

I bunch of cowards they are. They will not stand up for what they believe. They do not support their religion.

They know they are a bunch of pedophiles. They know what they do is illegal. It has nothing to do with religion or they would not be hiding, they would be teaching and educating the public on the righteousness of their religious beliefs.

What they didn't know was the cojones Texas has. Texas began immediately infiltrating the compound and collecting the information needed to take action.

Texas is not Utah or Arizona~they do not turn a blind eye. They do not believe religion gives a person or people the right to violate the laws of the land.

IMO, that shows their stupidity about emotional growth. Just because a girl starts menstruating does not mean that girl has the emotional stability or the physical ability to give birth and raise a child.

Now I am wondering...is his wife still his wife, or was she given to an older freak to bear his children.

I just have to. This is the biggest mess and the biggest abuse of human rights, not by LE, but by the FLDS.

IMO/JMO I wonder if he was ex-d or left of his own will. Wonder why the mother wouldn't leave with him (loaded question)? Some do leave with their husbands for whatever reason they are leaving, but most don't.

Yup Im on it. turtv. 'Susan' a cnn reporter from TX has just reported that the next custody hearing is in two months.
That this case may go to trial.
State is concerned about the rape of a child, sagatory rape and physically abusing that has been happening to these childern and some now are 18yrs old girls that they are interviewing. Authorities are saying that they the children were either a victim of abuse(harm) or in imminent danger.

Thanks goodness for DNA testing. 20 yrs ago what would they have done?(the state) Largest custody case in US history.
And sexual abuse case to thicken the plot.

My hope is they are inerviewing the kids and having them seen by doctors. My first thought was how intrusive? But I quickley reminded myself that they are used to intrusive acts upon them already. Being seen by a doctor is going to a less intrusive act then what they are used too.

I'm convinced that the women are totally brainwashed, but I'm wondering about the men. Do you think they also believe everything the religion teaches or do you think they know darn well what's going on and are just enjoying the benefits?

Morning all

Records point to 4 girls who could be sect's 'Sarah'
Authorities searching the compound of a polygamist sect in West Texas found a "cyanide poisoning document" among the dozens of items it seized during a weeklong search.

Well I am keeping a positive outlook with the outcome of the children. I feel the state of TX has a disaster on their hands and will need to request for federal assistance. Like when there is a flood and the town/state recieves funding and assistence.

I think the men in positions of 'power' KNOW 'darn well what's going on'. They are the ones that constantly lie to authorities to be able to purchase these large parcels of land. They are the ones who lie to government agencies to gain multi-million dollar government contracts.

Then, their are the men who are completely and totally subserviant to the elders. They too are brainwashed from an early age.

I am reminded of the Warren Jeffs trial when some of the young men took the stand. They too were robotic in their actions. They spoke of their 'lessons' by Jeffs.

In those lessons, they ARE taught that they are the head of their homes, that they must have three wives to enter heaven, that their wives must be completely and totally subserviant to them. Their wives must remain 'sweet'. If their wives become a 'problem' they are to report their wives to the elders.

Breast feeding the five year olds in peace! Not normal, they should be in school at five! Not still on the boob, for the love of food!
There is more too this, it is perfectlly normal to have supervised visits when children are being investagated by children services for abuse. I am sure the laws differ from state to state. I see nothing wrong and support supervised visits.
How would you feel if the daddies were wanting to come visit the 15year olds girls and have unsupervised visits?

I would hope with this big mess that they would pull in all resources necessary to make sure that the results will be available on time.
