Saturday April 19 Discussion

Open for business!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend so far.

GP said in the other thread, wonder what will be in those documents to be unsealed next week?

Will we be shocked?

Kim - hope you see the new thread. I don't know what these documents are. I am assuming they are search warrants, but that is just a guess.

Search warrants is a pretty good guess.

I wonder if the SW of the Laurean home will be unsealed?

That's the one I am curious about.

Morning all. I am assuming the documents in question have something to do with LK's post on Wed....now that Laurean has been caught the SW's he refers to in 4th paragraph in Wed's post.

Not sure what you mean. I think the search warrants have affidavits attached which explain the probable cause for obtaining the search warrants - or at least that is how I understand it.

Morning nuttin,

On Wednesday when I posted about the documents no one replied, think sometimes I'm on 'ignore'

I'm guessing one of the docs will include items taken from the Laurean home, dunno??? Another may be the complete item list taken from DD's home/shed.

I found it interesting LK chose to post the photo of 'Sharpshooters'.

Have we heard of Sharpshooters at all before this? My mind is slipping if we have......I don't remember that name at all.

A former poster had said that is where Cesar & Maria had met IIRC

Ah. TY, Ivy. Well, yes, then it is rather interesting that would be posted by LK. I don't see any particular import, except a curious interest where they met. Nothing more that we know so far.

Maybe it comes into play as to where both may have been seen AFTER the alleged rape was reported

Nah you're not on ignore with me, if that's any consolation.

I'm thinking about the Affidavits that accompany those SW too as well as what was taken from the homes. Time will tell.

Sharpshooters....maybe he went there and shot some pool?

Well affidavits and what was taken from the homes is more or less what I was talking about when I said the "results" of the SW's. I hope you are right. But then again.....being devil's advocate, say that we see that a certain item was taken out of the home (presumably for testing).....do we then see the results of those tests?

You won't see the results of any testing done on an item. You will just see a listing of the items seized in the SW. The affidavit may give an idea as to what specifically LE was looking for and we'll probably all go round and round as to what it means.

Hey that sounds like someone is going south of the border....now just which south of the border---the one at the state line or Mexico? Yeah I know which one he means....

Well, maybe the 'person' will get something but most likely not.

I wonder if Wally is going too?

Why would they not get to talk to him? His Mexican counsel?

I think they will be able to or they wouldn't bother with the trip. Now, it might just mean that Wally's going alone.

Hi nuttin Me too! And I know we'll have to wait for the trial for my other request, the crime scene photos, but I'd really like to know where blood was found inside the house since there have been different versions of that report.

I don't quite understand the necessity for the information to be presented in such a coy, "I know something you don't know" fashion, but I'm sure LK has his reasons.

I can imagine the DA wants & NEEDS to go to Mexico to take care of some of the legal stuff in person.

And I can certainly understand why Cesar's attorney would go there - to confer with him.

But I'm also wondering if Cesar has sent messages via his Mexican counsel and/or his family to LE, perhaps indicating he will tell all in return for a promise of X, Y or Z considerations.

Sure will be glad when there are fewer mysteries to 'wonder' about in this case.

The DA said when CL was arrested that he wouldn't negotiate with him (plea down) though, but maybe he's reconsidering? Why does LE want to "hear from" CL?

In the event only Cesar's Legal team will venture to Mexico, we'll know nothing about what Cesar says, or doesn't say IMO

Does that article mean it is his legal team?
I was hoping it was the DA or SB himself.
Whatever the case may be we have nothing to lose by hearing his side and everything to gain, especially if it makes any sense out of this whole thing.Right now all we have are facts that are very abstract and confusing to say the least.

I sure don't know. From everything we have read/heard the extradition process will take 2 months time to accomplish if it is on the fast track & Cesar does not fight extradition. And I'm not sure what benefit it would be to LE to get any promise from Cesar that he would NOT fight extradition because I don't know how they could hold him to that sort of agreement.

I can definitely see his attorney going to Mexico to advise him of what he may or may not be able to do for him here, in this country.

I'm sure Christina's attorney will be interested in everything about this trip (no matter who makes it), as well.

I have no idea who will be venturing to Mexico, just guessing one among a group from other divisions of the case will be his Attorney.

IF Cesar comes right out and says he murdered Maria on his own and no one else was involved his Atty. MAY tell him to fight extradition, dunno!

IF Cesar tells his Attny. others were involved in Maria's death, his Attny. will probably advise him to return to face the charges and trial by Jury.

I don't think Cesar's legal adviser will be going to Mexico until the UMC has laid out what charges he will face by them upon his return.

OMIGOSH - I wasn't even thinking about that as a possibility.

Would that be a kick in the pants or what? Would his attorney even agree to such a notion? Would Cesar barge ahead, ala Robert Blake, & blab to reporters against the advice of his attorneys?

Wasn't the wound like 4" X 5"? I could see if it were held and hit Maria from the "T" side, but not from the actual head where you hit nails.

Interesting though.

What if....Cesar tells them what the murder weapon really is and where it is now. And it's not a crowbar.
