CuC
Thank You!!
It is about time, we heard any news in this case and this time, Im grateful it was from the prosecutors and NOT Brodsky, for once!
Ive said all along, ole DP had mob connections somewhere, maybe NOT the big fish like a Gambino, or Gotti connection, but a sleazy minnow connection within some crime family, on the low end, of the criminal totem pole.
Funny how Drew is quick to say....
"All he knows is, I tried to buy dope from him a couple times. I put him away for 20 years," Peterson said. "He got out on appeal."

IMO, it is hard to follow this twisted trail of bread crumbs. Could this subpeona deal with DP's pension? TIA

Wow, they are digging deep aren't they. There must be something big we don't know. I wonder what DP was up to.

Thank you again for all the links, Cury! You are amazing! lol
This grand jury is definitely digging deep and it sure gives us outsiders an odd look into the workings... They seem to be looking at more than just Stacy and Kathleen, but also looking seriously at Drew's "character". It will be fascinating to see what the final outcome will be once the Grand Jury hands down it's findings. I do hope the findings will be open for all to see.

It is hard to follow if you do not stay on top of all the shennigans, Brodsky & Drew toss our way.
I am under the impression, from the article, that the prosecutors want to speak with this man. Why would the prosecutor be concerned with Drew's pension? Maybe I am reading moire into it but I just have a feeling, they may suspect this man of helping Drew in some way.
JMO but it could be they may have a ID on this man, as the one who was with Drew the night at the truck stop, prior to Stacy's disappearance OR some other wild, unimaginable circumstance.
This stuff is so bizarre I dont think even Stephen King could write a tale with so many twists and turns.

Do you suppose that having the Grand Jury look in this unexpected direction that Drew and Co. are getting worried? I hope he is sweating buckets worrying about what the Grand Jury and the prosecutors are doing....
I wish Stacy would "surface" soon. And I hope to heavens that the Grand Jury and the prosecutors have enough evidence to put Drew away for a very, very, very long time.

The reported burglary occurred fourteen years before Stacy was born and the alleged bribery and misconduct occurred when Stacy was one year old, IMO.

I thought they were exploring Savio's death?

Was at the hospital today, and some guy who looked just like DP walked by.
I did a double take as did the two women who were sitting alongside me. I said, "Was that..." and the other women answered my question with a question themselves.

OT, nope.. I didn't get anything for Valentine's Day.. Thats what happens when you live alone.
This burglary, bribery and misconduct thing has me really wondering what all the GJ is looking at. And why.... This stuff is all so far back... Does it even predate his marriage to Kathleen? (my brain is somewhat dead tonight.. )

They are... A while back there was an article saying that this Grand Jury was looking at Lisa Stebic's disappearance, Kathleen Savio's death and Stacy's disappearance.
Who knows....

Drew's new girlfriendis Geri.
She is the owner of Stella's in Romeoville. Someone else may very well have a stake in the ownership there or atleast provided some "creative financing" arrangements.
They have know each other for a long time from when Geri tended bar at Clem's in BB.
These 2 are nothing new.

Cassandra left an interesting note on her myspace that she made for Stacy. It basically says that she is confident that the ISP is doing any and everything that they can.. working night and day and that this case is not going cold. That she doesn't want to hinder then investigation by saying to much but that they are on it even if we aren't hearing alot.
I think it was titled.. In it for the long haul!
So.. that is good news. Some validation from the family that lots is still happening here and they aren't just waiting to see if Stacy is found.
I have a feeling that the Stacy disappearance opened up a can of worms that Drew is going to wish he hadn't opened. I don't know about you guys but I think that Drew is not your typical wife killer.. I think this goes far deeper and even darker than that.
I guess only time will tell tho.
I, for one, can not WAIT to see him get what has been coming to him for a LONG TIME!

Whatever he has done I hope the LE can dig enough up to prosecute him to the full extent of the law. I am sure that this has been so hard on Cassandra and the rest of the family.
It is also good to know that they are still working on this case and IMO he is going to go down hard.
I have prayers and high hopes that the families involved will find a resolution to this horrible situation.
jmoo [/*]

Yep.. I think so too. The BB Chief.. didn't seem too shocked or heartbroken about Drew going down.
I am impatient tho. I want to know what Cassandra knows. She seems very patient and willing to let it play out. Which makes me thing that she is pretty confident in what they have. BUT WE WANNA KNOW TOO!
We won't tell Drew.. LOL

 MP!
I couldnt agree with you more! Drew wasn't counting on Cass going to the police, as quick as she did and I know that has to throw a wrench in his plan to cover up. He didnt have time to cover ALL his tracks with all his alleged dealings. I do feel, this case will reveal more than even we could have imagined. It is just going to take time. The fact that KS's second autopsy results have not been made public as of yet, speaks volumes by itself.
It is hard to have patience. I dont know how Cass and Stacys family and friends hold up so well. They deserve alot of support and I pray they are getting that support. I look forward to the day, we can see Cass, reuniting with Stacy's children. I know they miss her as much as she misses them.

Yes the family is holding up very well. I would have a very hard time if this was a member of my family missing.
I have my suspicions that LE is going after every thing they can with this guy. I say more power to them. I pray they find everything they are looking for and justice will be served.
I have had a sense that when the second autopsy hasn't been made known, that they have found that Kathleen's death was no accident.

I agree with you, IF DP said something else, like she was home sick in bed, she may not have had alarm bells going off. When she heard him say she left him, she must have going crazy with worry. She was very fast with the missing person's report, unfortunately there wasn't enough for the police to enter the house at 11:00 when she really knew something was up.
I wonder if she had lied and said SP had called her from home and needed emergency help, if LE would have found any evidence in the house that night.

IMO, the burglary (included in article for AR's background) predates DP's return to IL from Falls Church VA in mid-70s. The 1985 bribery & misconduct investigation occurred during marriage to wife #3. IIRC the couple moved in with DP's parents briefly during this investigation.
IF two judges reviewed those 1985 charges, does a third review make sense? Perhaps there is another nexus to AR and/or AR's name surfaced thru another witness.

You have to read this article!
http://www.mysuburbanlife.com/lisle/news/x374190567
...“She never had to, but she went out of her way to visit me and make sure I was OK. She was very special, a wonderful kid, and I loved her dearly,” said Penning...
“Stacy was an excellent mother who never would have left her children,” Penning said.

Maybe DP could help LE along and get that book he talks about written. Or that his mouthpiece...er, lawyer talked about. If he would publish that in the next week or so, it should have a lot of info to help the investigation(s) right along. That is, if it is a TRUTHFUL book.

Couldn't catch the news. Was cooking. I am hard of hearing sorry.
Has to to do with someone who is testifying against DP.
Hope someone with a link comes up soon.

Gus Taylor (I think that's what they called him) is being called to the GJ, according to FOX news. He's being called a "mob guy" by FOX.
The GJ wants to question him regarding Savio's death and Stacy's disappearance.
This "mob guy" is writing a book, and there's a chapter on DP.

Yes, thank you, warhorse. I see I got the guy's name wrong.
Also, it was reported that the GJ meets only once a week, on Thursdays. That must be why it's taking so long.
