You are all slacking, today would have been Jason and Michelle's 4th wedding anniversary.
I read their engagement story over at The Knot again, and once again saw how the rumors of a shotgun wedding were not true.
Since when does someone grab someone's hand, get down on one knee and propose and that makes it shotgun!!!!
October could be big, we have the only sister's birthday coming up too.
Should be an interesting month, I would think, leading up to the 1 year anniversary of this brutal unsolved crime...
I am not going to list all the things that have been overlooked by so many that are so focused on Jason, but there are many.
Just the fact that he always parked his car in the driveway, because the garage was filled with the boat and Michelle's car,
would have made it clear to anyone he was not home that nite.
The fact that even though there was no forced entry, does not mean it wasn't because a door or window was not accidentally left open.
In fact, in a report linked here, someone who was profiling the case, slipped up and said there was an open door.
I will try to catch Lindsey on that one, and see if she still has that link.
Basically , you still got nothing, L E has nothing or at least not enough after all this time, months, and months and months...
I was thinking if I were the Fishers and Michelle was my murdered loved one, and L E could not find the killer, I would be at the point to bring in outsiders to head up a new investigative team....
Jason clearly can not shed any new light on anything that happened @ 5108 Birchleaf Drive that nite/am, since he was not there.
Signed...
A very confident Kat......

I wanted to make sure this didn't get lost in the shuffle

I recently found out that any time a 911 call is about a death, the call is looked into quite seriously.
So is the demeanor of the witnesses, and that of the person who makes the call.
The call had to be made, and, to get my teen son away from the scene, I asked him to make the call. He and I were questioned very closely, together and then separately. We each had to write out a report in longhand, and those were compared.
I'm sure the resident "hinky 911 call experts" would have had us both labeled killers in very short order. The police, on the other hand, were able to tell that we were telling the truth.

You all are so brave and strong. I admire both of you.
JT, so what you are telling us is, both you AND your son were questioned? LE looked at YOU?
Why didn't you just lawyer up and let LE do their job? Oh, I bet because you were INNOCENT? Thanks for making a great point.

Brava! I vote for both a lousy husband AND he killed Michelle. Jason Lynn Young is good at shirking his responsibilities, it's a pattern with him. Heck, he still hasn't put a headstone on Michelle's grave, how can we expect him to begin a private investigation into his wife's murder?

The 4th anniversary is traditionally flowers. Perhaps JY will send an arrangement to the cemetary - no wait -- he has until November 2nd to do that. IMO

I would have been so much more impressed if the Board had stayed with the facts and not spread so many untrue rumors about Jason and Michelle, especially since no one here knows anything and those who do can not post for legal reasons.
Take the shotgun wedding rumor for example..
*Definition........a expression referring to a type of wedding which is arranged not because of the desire of the participants, but to avoid embarrassment of an unintentional pregnancy...
*See forced wedding....a term used to describe a marriage in which one of the the parties is married without his/her consent or against their will....
Remember that rumor?
So, Jason married Michelle 2x not wanting to.....uh huh.....
And, then they posed for pictures, used their dog for their best man, and wrote a cute story on The Knot just to try and make it look good.
*Source.Wikipedia.
This was just nothing but another attempt to make Jason look bad.
And, it also added up to nothing along with everything else that has been posted here.
Nothing to get an indictment, nothing to go in front of the GJ with, nothing to get an arrest and nothing that will ever lead to his conviction....
Why?
Because he did not do it..because he could not be in two places at the same time, no matter how hard you tried to work the timeline, no matter how hard you try to make him the killer, it did not fit.

Keep dreaming, Kat. Despite your delusions of grandeur, nobody's purpose here is to try to impress you.
You know what the problem is with your little fairy tale about Jason and Michelle's marriage? It's that Jason himself frequently expressed to friends that he was miserable in the marriage and never would have married Michelle had she not gotten pregnant. It will all come out at trial, Kat. Keep that extra nic handy -- you know, the one you post with from the other side of the fence. You're going to need it.

Yep, I read the one where Jason tells people that Michelle is driving him crazy and he does not know what to do with her.
That would be really be smart to say, considering you were planning to kill her....
I know you are not accusing me of being another poster, I barely have time to be this one, and CW does not like false accusations..so...who would I be?... Lindsey, maybe?
That would actually be a honor...

Well, I am sure she won't pack up her toys and leave because you asked her. Sound familiar?
Curious is one thing. Having a little compassion is another. You should try it.
The point she was making is that all the ones who aren't smart enough to think that LE knows what happened in that 911 call need to think again. LE cleared her almost immediately, just the same way they did Meredith

Kat,
I agree, whether or not Jason and Michelle had a shot gun wedding has nothing to do with the case. I know plenty of people who have had shot gun weddings, some of them are still married, some of them are not, but none of the marriages have ended in murder.
I also think that if I were LF or MF I would hire some outside investigator to help with the case. The question is why hasn’t JY hired outside help? If my husband were murdered I would not let anyone rest until the killer was caught. I would hire outside help, go to the media, post on boards, and anything else I could do to help solve the case. Why is Jason letting the case go cold? Why isn’t he pestering LE to solve the case?

If you were to take these rumors that were posted here apart one by one, you will see there is not much of a case.....and no truth to them....
There is clearly no motive...............
Insurance money is not going to be paid out in a suspicous death, not with the case being unsolved..
I looked at it your way, but there are just so many unanswered questions and other possible theories, that I would be closeminded at this point to zero in on any one person without any facts , proof or evidence to support it.....
It is pretty obvious that L E thought Jason was the killer when they found out he was not at home when the crime took place, and have tried to connect him back to the scene.....
The rumors started and L E thought it would be easy.
When did it begun complex and why?
And, no one ever can tell me where Michelle's rings are?
Why??

Hard to say unless you were there.
The timing around Halloween, and the nature of the killing has always led me to believe it was not well thought out, that it may have started out as a robbery that went wrong......
If the intruder thought they only had to get in and get out without being caught, maybe they were under the impression there were more valuables there than their were.
And the house would be an easy target with Jason gone....
I think it is pretty unlikely anyone was set up or framed or to keep saying that L E is still just focusing on Jason....
They would have never let Progress Energy come forward with the Reward Poster asking for help, if they did not need something.
It makes the investigation look weak to come out 8-9 months later asking for help.
There is also the possibility that it was someone who knew Michelle and hated her and was strung out enough to be capable of this kind of gruesome killing...
Clearly, this killing was by someone deranged.
Once again, I don't know..but then again, either do any of you....

Justice for MY
Kat,
I highly doubt that someone is going to post on an engagement website that "We are getting married because I knocked her up" Don't you think they would of dressed up the tale of the engagement ??
How do you know that his car was not the driveway that night? How do you know whether there was anyone's car in the driveway that night/early morning? Unless you know someone in EO or are LE....you don't!

I am talking about the rumors that were posted here saying that Jason did not want to marry Michelle, that she ruined his life and that he hated and resented her for that...thus, a motive to kill her.
Those rumors.......
I was also talking about "if" it were a robbery, and Jason's car was not in the driveway as it would usually be at nite..the home would become an easy target,
There were pics of the garage which showed that between Michelle parking her car and the boat being stored there, that Jason would probably be in the habit of parking in the driveway....maybe on the street, for all I know....
I don't know who came and went after the GA friend left, maybe they ordered a pizza ...
We do know a killer(s) showed up, car, skateboard, bike, motorcycle, parachute?
I don't know anyone in Enchanted Oaks, or L E or anyone even remotely connected to the case, but then again, I never said I did.

Kat, I agree with you on this point. IF LE were fairly certain that Jason had some part of this. Then they should have brought CPS in. The little girl was left in a horrible situation for many hours. If Jason had no concern about his child after he found out about Michelles death, I would think that would have been enough for CPS to step in. He may not have to talk to LE but CPS is an entirely different matter. He would have had to have spoken with them. I would think, I don't know the laws in NC though. But thats JMO

For the record, I don't hear "daddy did it".
I'm sure there is "something" maybe even a lot of "somethings" that connect JY to this crime. The question is, is the "something" enough to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt? Obviously not. I think, no I hope, that if LE is looking in another direction, say a stranger/intruder, they would be asking for the public's help by now.
If JY did this and if that is who LE believes did it, they already know he's not a baby killer, at least not one who has actually been born.

Cool, at least we agree on something...
I think Jason was reassured from the beginning that "C" was okay and unharmed and would be waiting for him upon his arrival back in Raleigh.........
Now,if the child saw him and reacted to him in a strange way, then that would have been very telling.
"C" wouls have screamed and refused to go near him if she had witnessed him killing her Mother....
No one seems to see the logic in that though, that she did not react that way and therefore witnessed nothing.
Except for the statement Mommy has boo~boo's everywhere , wounds that were evident even to a little 2 year old, but not to a 26 year old....

L E did ask for help when they agreed to let Progress Energy place the Reward Poster asking for information.

Yes, but my point was LE probably could have had an opportunity in CPS to talk to Jason. Who reassured him? Did he talk to Cassidy? There is so much we don't know. I hope Cassidy did not see whomever did this to her mother. We may never know. Didn't the Brevard family arrive late in the evening? She could have been asleep. And I know you think the 911 is unusal. But remember Cassidy spent hours with her mom trying to get her to wake up I imagine. Meredith walked in on the nightmare. Once she found her sister it was probably only seconds until she called 911. This is all JMO. And extemly heartbreaking when you think about it.

911 call
I do not have any problem with Meredith and the 911 call and don't understand how anyone could call her voice "flat".
For anyone who thinks so should listen to the 911 tape of the mother of Erin Stanley (Erin is the first of 2 teen sisters to die suspiciously in one week) who called 911 when she discovered her daughter's body.
I would love to hear your thoughts on that call.

What bothers me the most is that they never came out and gave an updated opinion/version on what they think happened...
They started the case slow, stating that they would take their time, something to the effect "when we get there, we will know we are there" and I always wondered why they were not more in a hurry to catch the person(s) who did this..
They led us to beleive they were being methodical and precise, and then overlooked a tooth and did not perform the s/a kit.
They have never held a press conference stating their confidence.
Maybe on Nov 2nd, the anniversary, they will do something , anything to let us know again what track they are on..
There are so many people that knew Michelle , I just found a Roxboro connection....so many sorority sisters , etc.
It seems that everyone that Michelle and Jason knew also excelled in their jobs, are very ambitious, and career oriented....all very professional people, and once again it makes me think of someone who is waitressing and just seems content wasting her college education....
So, how did she fit in with the crowd that filled Michelle's house?
Was she invited to the homecoming weekend?
:shrugs:

Keep dreaming, Kat. Despite your delusions of grandeur, nobody's purpose here is to try to impress you.
You know what the problem is with your little fairy tale about Jason and Michelle's marriage? It's that Jason himself frequently expressed to friends that he was miserable in the marriage and never would have married Michelle had she not gotten pregnant. It will all come out at trial, Kat. Keep that extra nic handy -- you know, the one you post with from the other side of the fence. You're going to need it.

Do you have a link to what Jason Young has told his friends?

Good question, bet you won't get a straight answer...
He keeps all his info top secret......
Just like the house being in foreclosure...
Or Jason being late to his meeting.
Or the boat .
Or the shotgun wedding theory blown to pieces...
Or the missing rings..
Just no links..
Some things and some people just can not be accounted for..

Usually, there would be no reason to warn the public in that situation. I don't think it's typical for a spouse to crack, especially when they have an attorney and are not being questioned. It's usually an investigation and trial where their highly paid defense comes up with some pretty ridiculous theories to point away from their client.
It's definitely not too late....didn't we discuss McGuire on a previous date when it took over a year to make an arrest? [/*]

It is never too late for anything, but it just does not add up that if someone knows who did this to Michelle they would not come forward.
Maybe we should up the reward....
Someone out there can not be functioning very well in real life, now could that possibly be?
Who has changed the most ?

Your last paragraph is going to come back and haunt someone when the crime scene photos are someday released, and the average person can see for themselves the horror that went on in that bedroom and then how someone tried to attribute it to a fall......
Blood everywhere, walls, bed, floor ......anyone would know instantly something horrible happened......
It was a murder scene..and it is going to look like one if and when we get to see it.....and the police, seasoned veterans, described as one of the worst homicides and brutal beatings ever.....
The only sister did not see Michelle's wounds or her broken teeth or any kind of a struggle, or maybe a weapon?
Wow.......
And, you wonder why I have trouble with the 911 call.....

Motive.
Motive.
I have asked before, and I will ask again, of those who believe that Meredith killed Michelle.
What is the motive?

Wouldn't you kick in some change if it would help find the person or people responsible, or send a donation to C for her college fund, or help set up a scholarship fund in Michelle's name at North Carolina State?
I have never heard Jason was hiding, I was under the impression he went to work each day........
The only reason we know some of what the waitress is doing is because of her screen name......
I don't see her speaking out for Michelle like Denise Brown did for Nicole.
She certainly recovered within the timeframe of 5 months to be selling items on ebay...so much for severe trauma and shock....
It might take the average person a lifetime to recover from the scene she walked into.
You know, you all keep saying that you do not know how you would react if you found the body of your sister murdered, maybe not....
But I do know how I would not act....
I would not be all flirty and trying to be cute on the internet amd posting on other people's websites..
I think I would keep a pretty low profile, or,at least pretend to want some privacy....
You can not blame me for what she writes.
Ask her.

Summation
Ladies and Gentlemen of the jury:
You have seen the photograph of Michelle and Meredith as children, and I point out to you how “pouty” Meredith looks.
You have seen the photographs of Michelle and Meredith as adults, and noticed how much heavier Meredith is than her sister.
You have seen the links to Meredith’s MySpace and eBay sites, and know that Meredith has a life.
You have heard the recording of the 911 call, and I submit to you that her voice is “flat”.
You have seen evidence that Jason and Michelle removed Meredith as Cassidy’s guardian, so, by killing Michelle, Meredith ensured that she would never see her niece again.
You have seen evidence that, despite a college degree, Meredith was making very good money working as a waitress.
Ladies and Gentlemen, you must convict.
………Did I miss anything?
