Sticky - Michelle Young - Friday, September 21, 2007

"Justice is the firm and continuous desire to render to everyone that which is his due."
Justinian

I pulled this from Surfside6's opening of a thread about a month ago. Still stands strong.

Hope you all have a great day!!

Justice for Michelle, her baby boy and family.

I don't understand why you want to keep rushing this case. From the other cases shown in NC, there is no reason to arrest someone until everything is set for a case to convict BARD.... time will tell... patience, once again... that is a virtue.

Here is a poster who has not changed their name. Here is a poster who posts the truth: The quote function will not work right now so I will add that this post is from 5swab5:

"That's hardly "all we have". We have a $cum bucket for a husband and a father, who apparently took the "'til death do we part" of his vows WAY too literally.

We have a man that was carrying on with his wife's best friend.

We have a man that leaves early to go to a business meeting the night before, yet only drives half way and yet is late for said meeting.

We have an avid NCSU season ticket holder with friends on the way, yet he makes a side trip to his mom's house, for one or another reason, gawd only knows what the final story will be.

We have a man that argued frequently with his wife, even in public.

We have a man that didn't see fit to take care of his household, upstairs heat, garage door opener, security system and lord only knows what else.

We have a man that thought so little of his wife losing his second child, that he neglected to escort her to NY to the comforting arms of her mother---he went on a trip to CA with his family instead.

We have a man that hasn't attended a SINGLE memorial for his wife.

We have a man that lets JTF from "jump street" start making every excuse in the book and try to point the investigation in other directions.

We have a man that needed a NTO to comply, LATE I might add, to assist in eliminating his fingerprints, DNA, etc. from the crime scene.

We have a man that sent his SIL to the house, only to discover his wife's body, yet he allows her to be the object of ridicule and venom on message boards.

We have a man that has shown ZERO concern for his bludgeoned wife and unborn son....

We have a mute.

We have a man that.....

Why even bother?

We don't have a man, we have a Murderer!

JMO.

Swabby"
IMO, every word of the above is worth repeating and harking to.

Just my opinion.

Well, good morning all .......

I just caught up from last nite's posts. I'm certainly glad I have very limited access in the evening. Some of those "evening posters" are VERY tiresome.

I'm walking, sleeping, eating this case now.

My take on the "Daddy did it" thing. It definitely sounds like "daddy" something. But a couple of points.

MF's reaction of just "ok" leads me to believe:

1. She wasn't paying close attention, however she did answer CY appropriately on several other occasions.

2. She didn't recognize it as "Daddy did it" .. or she might have said "What, honey, are you saying DADDY DID IT?" So as someone who can understand this child's 2yo speak, she appears to understand and answer "OK" .. but must be responding to something other than "daddy did it"

or..

3. She doesn't understand at all what she's saying, so she's just answering "ok" to acknowledge this kid.

At any rate, I don't believe MF had anything to do with MYs death, and poor CY was probably so relieved to have someone responding to her .. that poor baby was just gibbering away..

I hope LE can bring airtight closure to this case ......... soon.

......... for Michelle.

I don't believe for an instant that the GA friend had anything to do with Michelle's murder. My post to JF was an extension to Dida's post to her asking why Meredith is accused of murdering her sister, but the GA friend, who was the last known person with Michelle isn't.

In addition to already knowing the GA friend was alright because JY was likely the last known person with Michelle, his COG also prevented him from calling her. However, by not calling the GA friend, JY likely caused her to either think poorly of him for not inquiring, or to view him with suspicion.

IMO
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just trying to understand. GA was with MY that evening. Was JY with his good friend (GA's boyfriend) at anytime during that evening? (Tried to go back but all the older threads are missing).

She'd be my number one suspect if not for Jason's silence. That was a very odd 911 call IMO. It was almost like she didn't want to touch her sister to ascertain her condition. Like she already knew she was dead but didn't want the OP to know she knew.

Well according to some there is a MOUNTAIN of evidence. Obviously those people are wrong cuz the case isn't even solved.

What some are passing off as reasons for no arrest isn't how DAs and LE operate. They don't worry about a successful prosecution when they don't even have a case solved.

It is JY that is not talking to the police. Unless any member of the Young family is involved and invokes their fifth ammendment rights of self incrimination, they have to talk to police. If they refuse to talk, haul them in front of a grand jury and if they still don't want to talk they can be hit with a contempt order. The fifth does not protect a person from someone else incriminating them.

oops.

i've been reading on here for awhile and doing alot of research about the case. i have a few comments i would finally like to make.

1. regarding "daddy did it" - i heard it when i listened to the recording and i didn't have an enhanced version. it was very chilling when i did hear it. also i am thinking this is probably why JY is keeping such a lock-down on his daughter as far as allowing MY's family to see her.

2. regarding MF's 911 call - i think the operator sounded like an idiot first of all. i know if i found my sibling dead on the floor with many horrible wounds to the body, i'm not sure i would want to touch the body either. i think MF's voice on the call shows terrible distress and fear in the beginning and then changes to trying to compose herself and keep it together for CY. she said from the very beginning of the call that she thought her sister was dead, that the body was cold and stiff. the operator kept asking the same questions and did not seem to be listening to what MF was trying to say. however, when MF does go over to the body and says "michelle" you can hear the sadness and fear the most in her voice.

3. i do not understand why JY will not talk to investigators. i think this shows a guilty man. and the lack of sympathy he is showing to the situation is horrible. if he were so innocent why would he not be standing up for himself and trying to find the real killer. instead he is hiding out and appears to be fine with this case never being solved.

4. he does need the money. who doesn't need a million dollars? especially when you have a 3 year old child and the need to start a new life. he has at least 15 years of supporting this child ahead of him (without her mother).

5. i went to college at State while JY was there. the rumors about him being a womanizer are true and i don't doubt the affair or the "hitting on other women in front of his wife" comments.

6. lastly, i hope that i can have enough faith that the WCSO is building a strong case against the murderer and will get a trial going within a year of the murder.

that's it for now ... thanks for letting me post my thoughts, finally!

Looked like someone was making a sand box out of CW's board and decided to play games with nics other people used (and are still referred to as).

An arrest of Jason must be looking awful dismal if they are resorting to childish games like that.

Funny no one in the media has commented on it. Just a few peeps on msg boards.

Read the statute on the release of public info and then tell me why LE would torpedo a case by releasing a bomb shell like that. Logic dictates the words were not uttered by Michelle's daughter.

Sounds to me like she's tayloring her responses. From sounding freaked to being not only calm, but chit chatty.
911: OK. Listen to me, did you see what happened?

Meredith: I don't know, Cassie come here sweety, I'm here with her daughter. There's like blood footprints all over the house, like her daughter's little footprints.

911: OK, listen to me, what's your first name?

Meredith: Meredith

911: Alright Meredith?

Meredith: Yes sir

911: Did you see what happened?

Meredith: I just came here on a fluke, I usually don't come here during the day

Never did answer if she saw what happened except to say she didn't know if she saw what happened and then went on about when she usually is at the house

Funny you should mention phone calls, I think they are going to play a very important part, once we get to trial.

We learned very early on, that Jason left early to only drive half way to his "business meeting" the next morning. According to insiders, he called Michelle at least twice Thursday night.

We also learned from the SWs that Jason was frequently "checking his voice mail" on Friday. Wonder how many times he called Michelle in the hours up until he arrived in Brevard and fell "plumb to his knees" on Friday, compared to how many times he called Michelle in a few short hours the night before?

Especially since Michelle had already lost one baby and was scheduled to visit her doctor that morning.

It doesn't get any better 'in context'. In fact, it gets WORSE as she skirts the question 'did you see what happened'.
