AMBER Alert-Illinois

An AMBER Alert as been issued for Janice Christopher and her three children, ages 7, 10, and 11. They were last seen in the Streator, Illinois area on I-39 south bound and possibly en route to Florida.

Suspect vehicle is a burgundy Dodge caravan with Illinois plates 8447276.

If you have any information please call 911.

I hope the family will be found safe. I wonder if the abductor is an ex-husband/boyfriend. It would be very unusual for a random stranger to abduct a family.

The alert has been cancelled. They were found safe and had not been abducted.

Why on earth would this woman tell her brother that she was being forced to drive to Florida? Bet she had no idea the brother would call LE.

Anyway, glad she and the kids are OK.
LE sure does not need to spend unnecessary time on "fake missing people reports". JMO

Thank goodness this family is safe. I only wish all the other missing cases had the same ending.
