This baby is really young to have been taken away from his mother!
The part I do not understand (from the above link) is why the mother and friend would get in the SUV with a stranger. It almost makes the "what happened" story sound a bit fishy.
At any rate, I do hope they find this baby boy real soon and that he is safe.

Please be on the lookout for the Black SUV with peeling tinted windows. In the article below it states there will be a composite drawing out later today. I hope they put a picture of the SUV as well. I will try to keep this page updated. but I will be leaving around 12 :30 today for several hours.. Maybe the baby will be home stay by then..

That puzzles me as well but doesn't exactly raise any flags. I wonder why they think the truck is heading to South Florida??

Have there been any other developments? They were supposed to release a sketch of the suspect and I haven't seen it yet, haven't heard anything new as of today.

Last night on Nancy Grace they showed a composite. Was that the alleged abductor? I don't understand why it hasn't been widely distributed. I keep hearing about this story but not seeing any other sketches. Something seems weird to me. In every other case the picture of the abductor is flashed frequently.

Baby Bryan's case will air on America's Most Wanted tonight.
Sorry, no link, atm. But there was an article about it earlier this week. Probably from the St. Pete Times.

I saw that sadd. This, imo, makes the situation even more desperate. People traffickers are, imo, akin to the mob. I pray they find little Bryan before it is too late.

I didnt see AMW tonite and imso confused . The parents are involved? I suspected fron the very start the parents were involved but is thier proof they willing or unwillingly gave the baby up to pay a debt? These latino gangs donot play around, if you stiff them for money they go right to the kids,it happened in baltimore to 3 young child stabbed almost decapitated and the freeway shooting of one entire family just recently.

People, as I understand it, the parents were smuggled from Brazil to America and didn't pay the smugglers the full fee. Authorities suspect the people traffickers have taken the baby as revenge. There doesn't seem to be any collusion involving the parents, imo.

OMG, I may sound naive, but what will they do with the baby? Please don't tell me they will harm him. Will he be sold? What? This is just sickening! Jo Layne

I am convinced these parents know exactly what happened to thier baby. I am so sick of violent crimes happening in this country, its bad enough we have a consent drip of home grown crime and criminals but we have to inherit so much from other countries. I have already accepted that human life has no value to most but even ones own blood, own child? Im sick of this crap

What bothers me about this case is the seeming lack of any effort by the mother to protect her child or put up a fight. From what I've gathered via news reports and here, the abductor pulled a knife on the mother. Now, I'm not saying that isn't absolutely frightening, but a knife is not a gun by any means. You would have to stab me to death to get my child. I don't recall hearing anything about any wounds to the mother. If my friend is standing outside the vehicle you can bet I'm going to try to get my child to that friend and try to fight off a woman with a knife. If I were the friend I would certainly try to help also. We haven't heard much about her, either. I know things are always different when you're on the outisde and specualting what you would have done, but I just can't fathom coming away from that without putting up a fight and sustaining some sort of injury.
I also don't understand why an abductor would ride around with witnesses for an hour or however long it was. These people now have a fantastic description of the abductor's face, voice and vehicle. Was anything said about a license plate? If I were the friend who got out of the car you can bet I would have at least gotten that info. Was the SUV two-door or four?
I dunno. Things just haven't felt right since this story broke. I hope I am wrong in thinking things aren't on the up and up but it's a nagging feeling I have. I belive the baby is alive but I am skeptical about him being found.
Prayers for you little Bryan that you are being well taken care of wherever you are.

The latest reports reveal that a witness has come forward. A grandmother had her young grandson in a stroller and was approached by a woman in a black SUV with tinted windows earlier that day, asking directions to a hospital. The woman positively identified the suspect from the sketch. The kidnapper tried to get the woman and child to get into the vehicle but this woman refused.
Now, when the kidnapper picked up the two young mothers and their children on the side of the road, they were in the vicinity of a hospital (a different one from the one that she was asking the grandmother for directions to). The two women had just taken the babies to the medical center there for checkups.
The parents have adamantly denied owing any money to a coyote. I know in my heart and mind that these parents had nothing to do with the disappearance of their only child. This baby was a ray of hope in their troubled life. They came to this country to start a new life. I can see how devastated they are from the pictures in the news. I just know they had nothing to do with this.
I do not believe that there is a coyote involved at all. Here's what I think happened: I believe that the kidnapper staged a pregnancy, for whatever reason. She needed a latino baby, and she needed a hospital to go to to make it more "real". She was probably then going to have the "father" (probably a boyfriend she was afraid was going to leave her, which is why she faked a pregnancy to begin with) or a family member pick her up at the hospital.
I'm hoping and praying with each day that goes by that someone will figure this woman out and report her so that he can return to his parents who love him.

I also hope that LE has checked with Florida hospitals to see if this woman or the baby has been admitted or seen hanging around. She might feign an illness herself or say that the baby is ill to try to get admitted so that family can "visit her" in the hospital. I think that people should be suspicious of any latino woman who "gave birth" to a 12 pound baby in the last week or so, who also drives a black SUV with tinted windows, and report their suspicions to the authorities.
I'd also know what kind of plates the SUV has. Someone has GOT to know!

So the parents denied owing any money to smugglers and now they admit they owe a couple hundred dollars? It might be irrelevant but at this point I don't think they can just assume it is. I really don't know what to think about this case. I do believe the boy is still alive, though.

Keeping my fingers crossed this pans out. The thought of a new baby out there without his parents makes me sick. Lord, please keep this baby safe and healthy. Hoping for a Christmas miracle of sorts.
