Let's hope they don't have to break laws, offer beer and ciggies for the constituents, and TELL THE LESS EDUCATED VOTERS who to vote for in exchange for the goodies. JMO concerning some of the past actions I've read about concerning ACORN.....

And why shouldn't ACORN be involved with GOTV? Can anyone name any election that ACORN affected?

I realize that some people are scared because ACORN registers poor people but all of us have the right to vote. Left and right.

You do understand that they don't go in the booth with people aren't you? Once someone is in that booth they are on their own.

Why don't you clue us in about those elections you are concerned about? There has not been one shred of proof that ACORN ever even attempted voter fraud. AND there have been very few cases of registration fraud and these charges were made about low level employees.

Exactly, folks just don't like that they register many more minorities and poor people, then the GOP every attempts to. And any of the voter registration problems were reported to authorities by ACORN. There is a difference between registration fraud, and voter fraud, very few voter fraud.

Exactly!!

What really puzzles me though is why people appear to be afraid of ACORN?

for those employees that offered beer and ciggies to get a signature were really ripping Acorn off as they are paid on commission by the number of people they get to register and I think odds are those people will not vote even if they are registered - those people could care less who you are voting for as long as they can get you to register to vote, sounds like your just afraid poor people will vote democrat

If you read about these things happening, why don't you provide a link to where you read that? I can wait for a legitimate link before I believe you or share your fears.
