I would assume the Troops would stay in their chosen service.

If they end both wars, I would expect a troop drawdown, meaning we wouldnt keep as many soldiers on active duty. We did a drawdown when Clinton was in office. It helps reduce the defense budget.

Let's not forget that we have many National Guard units deployed in the wars. And they would be returning to civilian life when they come home.
