There is something wrong with little Shannon. I thought it might be lack of stimulation and neglect but after seeing the picture of the mother I think it is probably chromosomal.

Hi Dr. J. I have been saying chromosomal for a while, i agree with you.

Glad she is alive and away from that very scary susan baker. If her husband did not know, and that is quite possible, then something bad was going to happen to her quickly before he found out.

I was bald until I was one too... if it was from laying down too much, it would just be on the back of her head.... I have seen that. Her lack of emotion or stimulation could come from her family dynamic as well... were they good parents? I mean obviously she was fed, but there is more to it than that. And if someone is willing to give their kid away.... I'm just saying.

She wasn't set up.... and yes, I believe that Shannon was not supposed to ever be found.....

I agree with the mother not setting up Susan, but I feel it was the other way around. Your theory on Shannon was not supposed to ever be found, meaning, you think Susan took her to just murder her? Just curious. I am trying to fathom the reason why Susan took her.

Do people seem to really need a reason to kill a child?? It doesn't seem so to me. I think the mother gave her up willingly and had maybe just had enough of being a mother and this was an easy out.....

Bless beautiful little Shannon. I pray she is with a good, happy family who are providing her with a lot of love and affection. Also hope that Shannon will overcome her first 7-months and will grow up to be a happy person and a productive member of society.

Susan Baker's husband needs good eye glasses and a hearing aid.

IMO the glasses and hearing aid are long (20 years plus) overdue.

Bless sweet little Shannon. Praying she is getting a lot of love and affection.

i hope this is ok to post this here....if not maybe a thread needs to be started for Paul?

Details released about investigation 22 years ago for missing boy

After the Bakers' arrest last week, the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office released 72 pages of reports and other documents associated with their investigation of Paul's disappearance.

Greetings"
Darcie"

Thanks for the link. I'm wondering how stupid S.Baker thinks the authorities are? I mean she wrote a letter from jail when Paul went missing. I think this woman has something like Münchhausen. Because she sure seems to like the attention the missing kids generated.
I'm glad Paul's father is being looked at regarding Paul too.

Thankfully baby Shannon was found and can now get some intervention for her disability.

I wondered too about a thread for little Paul, but it's been so long ago to get links. IF the press in SC would file a "freedom of information act" and get the documents, that sure would help. Maybe we should all write and request a newspaper take the lead for Paul?
