Reagan was the worst prez ever.......that is until bush2 came along.
During the recession in the early 80's unemployment where I lived was about 12%. Reagan cut all the safety nets during that time when we needed them most. Cut unemployment extensions and all sorts of social services....he liked the trickle down....make the rich, richer and make the middle class & poor, poorer. Reagan said unbelievable things thru-out the years, like medicare should not be passed because it would take everyone's freedom away. He didn't care that the elderly were losing everything when they got sick. That tells me a lot about his character. That is the way the repub's think now about health care....If someone needs health care and doesn't have it, it must be their fault so they deserve the horrific suffering they are facing. As long as it doesn't affect me, I couldn't care less about other's suffering mentality.
