Just thinking out loud - if the grandson was there doing handyman work around the grandmother's house, he would have probably bought supplies nearby. Is there a way that local supply businesses can trace credit card/ATM purchases during that time to find out if one is located in Florida? Also, while this might be time consuming, the property records (online) can be checked for "women" owning property alone. Of course, there could be a grandfather but from what I've heard, it seems the grandmother may live alone. I don't know if LE can "visit" these women and ask questions or not. JMOO
As I've said before, I, too, live in GA, and want Kristi found - alive!!

The business would have to know which transaction was the one they suspect was his. They would need date, at least the last four numbers of the card used and a dollar amt to get a full card number and the time of day would be most helpful as well - and from there it would have to go to the police and bank.
You cannot get a name and address associated with a card at a business - that comes from the bank of the account holder and would only be provided with a court subpoena.
Fortunately, I can shed light on this since I do this kind of stuff through my job and know what it takes to find a transaction - that many months ago, would create a lot of work because there are a ton of transactions since and before.
The biggest hitch I see here is knowing the time of day, date would be somewhat obvious since it would be around the time she vanished, the transaction in question, partial card number and the dollar amount. That may sound like small beans but not when you are going back this many months.

Thanks, AuntieKissey. Guess I was thinking along the lines of it being a small town, and a stranger buying materials might be a red flag to someone at the store. Surely, LE has put up posters of the POI at all the building supply/hardware stores around.
Just wishing Kristi could be found - alive!

Video Marks Cornwell Disappearance
(WSB Radio) Thursday marks the six month anniversary of the disappearance of Kristi Cornwell. The Blairsville was walking on Jones CReek Road and talking to her boyfriend when someone apparently approached, she screamed, and has never been heard from again.

I feel so sad for Kristi's mother and entire family. How terrible to have to face this day in and day out. How lonely she must feel without her baby girl. Six months...my God time has flown! It's time LE feeds us some more information. This has gone on way too long without some solid path to finding Kristi.
