"Marci and Jeffrey Beagley are charged with criminally negligent homicide for failing to provide medical care to their 16 year old son Neil, who died in June 2008 of complications from an undiagnosed congenital urinary blockage."

Based on what I read at the link, I'd say they were negligent in caring for their child and are responsible for his death.

These two dip-sticks face a max of 10 years, but since they have no criminal record, normal sentencing would be 16-18 months! :cursing: Great. You can kill your children and be home in time for dinner. :rolleyes: WTHeck is up with that? This makes me crazeeeeeeeeeee.
There comes a time in life where people need to use some common sense and if they can't do that, then they need to be gotten rid of and not given another chance to kill someone. I believe this is one of those times. :angry:
I think you can get more time for credit card fraud.

Crimes that involve money lots of times bring more jail time than those that just deal the the loss of life.

unless it is a LOT of money by already rich and powerful people, then you just get a slap on the wrist it seems
