I'm so lost right now and have nowhere to turn but here...so am swallowing my pride to beg for Prayers for my little Ky Bug...:crying:
She was rushed to the hospital last night because she was having great difficulty breathing....she had a fever when she was admitted last night which they got under control but they can't control her oxygen levels or heart rate. They still have no clue what's causing this...she's been tested for everything.
All I can do is sit here by the phone waiting for the next update from my son and DIL...I'm so lost...:crying:

WE love you Moondust! Stay strong, I'm so sorry to hear she is sick.
Hopefully they will be able to get her symptoms under control and give her relief!
Children sometimes have horrible allergies to all kinds of things, asthma's and bronchitis, Flu..it always hits them the hardest.
It is very scary and we are all thinking of you and your family.

Thank you all, again....
I'm still at a loss...last spoke with my son about an hour ago and they still had no information on what is wrong. The crux of the situation is this......
She was admitted into the hospital early this morning but is still being kept in the emergency room til a private room becomes available because they are keeping her in isolation, therefore, the need for a private room. Drs. from the ER have not been in to give any updates because she was admitted, therefore, they've been waiting on a Dr. from the floor that she's being admitted to who has yet to show.
This whole scenario has me really upset.....my son did tell me that a nurse told them that the move should take place within the hour, so I'm hoping it has by now and am just awaiting a call back from my son when it does. I was very happy to get a chance to talk with Ky today....poor babe sounded so weak...:crying:
They did give her inhalers this morning, Cat Toy, but they didn't help at all....the poor babe stays sick alot.
I hope to have some good news really soon.

Ok, here's the update which I totally have mixed feelings on...
They sent her home...said there was nothing more they could really do and that is was just something "viral"....I feel that's somthing that's always told to you when Drs. don't have a clue.
Anyway, I'm very happy that they're all on their way home and can finally get some much needed rest...they've been up there since 11:30 last night and they are all totally exhausted.
I'm still concerned about Ky though....just wish the Drs. could give something more concrete but guess sometimes they just can't. They just told them to keep a close eye on her for the next few days.
Anyway...thanks to you all for your prayers...I'll be sure to let you know if anything changes....bear hugs to you all (http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f217/Moon_River/Hug-2.jpg)

Thank you, Hansie and Zanzi...love putting those two nics. together..
I'll go ahead and give an update here....Ky was taken to her regular Dr. the day after her release and he figured out her problem within 15 minutes. She has very enlarged tonsils that are constricting her airways and is why she stays sick alot. She's scheduled to see a specialist this week who will probally recommend she have those removed. In the mean time she's been placed on steroids and has become a little terror for mom and dad... I hate the side effects that go along with steroids but thats the only option in many cases...today is her last day of taking those..thank goodness.
Now, for another little piece of news....I'm about to be a grammie of another....my other son has his first on the way...

Thank you all....I got so scared when she had to be rushed back to the hospital today with a temp of 104...I had to rush off and get my son to get him up the hospital. She's back home now and is sleeping...my poor babe...the 18th can't get here soon enough. I only hope it's all cleared by then so the procedure can be done.
