"Most of our Founding Fathers were not Christian, as we understand Christianity today. They were deists who believed God created this world and the moral order, like a clockmaker who wound up the clock and then withdrew from the process. We Christians have not allowed a small minority to take Christ out of Christmas. We have the freedom to exalt Christ in our homes and churches, which we faithfully do in celebrating his birth."

careful, I got an serious infraction for asking someone about this when they claimed it took a lot of effort nowadays to keep Christ in their Christmas

I sent you the actual infraction on PM as do not want to repeat it here

as I was asked some about this on PM

I would add, my perception of this is you need to reply "in general" to a posters comments

for example

someone says it is harder to keep christ in christmas nowadays

you should not ask them why it is harder for them to keep christ in their christmas nowadays

you should say something like, I do not understand why some feel it is harder to keep christ in their christmas nowadays

one is considered a serious infraction (insulting a poster) and the other is not

it is all in the wording...

I have no trouble at all keeping G-d central in my practice of Judaism and Jewish holidays. I do so within my synagogue, my home, and my heart. I do not require public displays/demonstrations/acknowledgements from others.

I believe there are people of all faiths who do this on a daily basis.

exactly, I think what some Christians mean when they say it is harder to keep Christ in Christmas nowadays, they mean in "other" peoples Christmas ..... most Christians do not have these issues, it's a very vocal few that do

Yes, or they require some type of public validation for their beliefs.

That letter was written by a very wise pastor.
