We seem to be having issues here in Massachusetts with the Jury Duty summonses. My DH & DS have the same name, they've always used Jr. & Sr., they're registered to vote as Jr & Sr, their drivers licenses say Jr & Sr.
One of them has been summoned for March. We have no idea which one. It doesn't indicate Jr. or Sr., there's no mention of birth date, SS# or drivers license #.
So far, we haven't found the automated phone number provided very helpful, you never get to actually talk to a human. lol
At this point the DH & DS think they both need to take the day off and report just to find out which one of them they want.
Gotta wonder how they got the cats name though, supposedly the summons is issued via the RMV list, not the census. You're supposed to be a registered voter to be called & you can register to vote when you renew your drivers license.

Too funny, the cat doesn't look like it would be very impartial though. LOL. I remember years ago that our dog got something from Kroger on it in the mail. Please don't ask me how that happened.

Be funny if you discovered that the cat has voted in the last 20 elections.

Best thing is to check here first:
http://www.mass.gov/courts/jury/index2.htm
Then if you still have problems, stop in the county jury commissioner office with the summons prior to the date of appearance.

Kitty could be a good juror - so long as neither the defense nor prosecutor is allowed to offer a chin rub or butt scratch.

I bet we'd have a better justice system if there were at least 1 cat on every jury.

Although both were very popular in our courtrooms.
We had to keep the squirrels and nuts out.
