I can't believe this man has never taken the "How are you doing, George?" question as an opportunity to say, "You know, this isn't about how I'm doing. This is about my precious granddaughter, my sunshine, my Caylee Marie. This is about her. What I'm feeling -- what other members of my family are feeling -- isn't important. What's important is what my granddaughter went through in the final moments of her life. What's important is that Caylee's life was taken from her, and she was only 2. That's what's important, not how I'm feeling."

I've never heard any member of this family make any reference to Caylee's feelings. Not when she was "missing," and not since her remains were found.

I'd lke to know 2 things about his "cameo" today:

1. Is he getting paid for the "article" he's written?
2. Isn't Holly Bristow the same reporter the Anthonys PI said was having an affair with someone in the DA's office?

ok 3

3. I wonder who called who for this interview today?

George - grow up. When your daughter murders her own child, your life is gonna change. It's not the media's fault, it's not the public's fault, it's ALL CASEY's fault.

My exact thoughts when I heard about this, sis. He's unspeakably selfish and immature. Instead of self-pity how about feeling a little sumthin sumthin for the little baby who was most likely tortured in life and tortured to death. George? You're an a-hole. I feel nothing for you and never will.

Susie - George was interviewed for half an hour by Holly Bristow. He wrote what he called an article about living under a microscope for the past year and a half and then talked about himself and his new calling in life for 25 minutes.

Probably more, but can't remember.

I was going to thank you for interpeting the letter--but found that the thread was being abandoned for a new one!!!

Having it printed up made it much easier to read, but it still was a painful read, it was so poorly written. So, I had read almost all of it when I quit. Methinks the writer was trying too hard.

What I had noticed was he was rather vague about the "June 2008" "sometime in the summer" thing. Probably because the Anthony camp hasn't really decided amongst themselves if they are still going to go along w/the June 15 date, or if some are still holding out for the June 9 date. If they are smart (and tho they try to make us believe so, so many of their words and actions show the opposite) they would hold for the June 15 date, as there is proof that Caylee was alive w/her greatgranddad on that date.

They did have that Larry someone from CA who seemed to have sold pics and stuff (licensing fee, you understand) and pocketed the money. Then, there was that person from KFN--Michelle someone one? Bart? Who did not seem real effective. However, she might have been more effective had they shut up and let her be the spokesperson. And, if they had shut up and let NeJames do his job. Yes summer, he mentioned his tatoo (and he won't tell us who did it) - who cares? (He thought it was mean that it was critiicized.)

A few years ago (according to George) Casey said Hey Dad, that's some big ear lobes you have there. You should get them pierced!!

Soooo to show love and support for Casey, he thought he'd get that done and she'll really get a kick out of it in the future.

Did the tatoo hurt he asks? (Cause no one else did.) It sure did but it was worth it.

He was hurt when he so graciously let people take his picture on the cruise (cause they're famous you know) and then it ends up in the tabloid.

(I think they know what the word is about Mally Boo's appearance too because he mentioned his lovey future daughter in law being by them for the right reasons (when some of his and Cindy's family are not).

lol! I imagine the 9 people who "like" him are simply the people who don't recognize him or do but don't feel a need or desire to say anything to him. I'd be in that group. I wouldn't lower myself to speak to any of them if I ran across them in a public place.

Well, thanks, puzz. :blushing:

It's my usual rant, I'm afraid. Same thing that's been bugging me since day 31 about this family. It has never been about Caylee. I cannot stand the narcissism of these people. That little girl would've been better off raised by wolves.

You are right that she would have been better off. I cried for Caylee today after hearing George's little pity party. It isn't the first time and I am sure it won't be the last.

I am happy about one thing. I am happy that in my entire life I have never had the misfortune to know a family as selfish as the A's.

if he were to read any comment section of any article or interview involving him or his wife, he would see that those first 9 people apparently don't own computers or like them strongly enough to comment on it.

GMAB!!! They actually tho't people wanted to take pics to put in their little ol' scrapbooks, to never show anyone they "know" the infamous A's? ?? I'm betting they were checking the tabloids each and everyday, and they probably would have been extremely disappointed and upset if those pics hadn't shown up!!!!

I'm betting when they look @ those photos, they only see 10's.

i think that interview was a request of the defense, passed from jose to brad, to try yet again to give casey that "human" appearance. they went with george, as he's, well lets just say more popular, than cindy. i don't think it worked.

jmo

Good point. It was probably strategic. They really don't get that they're having the opposite effect of the one they desire.

How clueless can this bunch be that they think this is effective? I thought they were reading public opinion on this case? How are they missing the fact the public does not want to see or hear any more from the Anthonys about their vile daughter or what they are going through? This isn't rocket science. They are despised for their self-absorption and the fact they can't mention Caylee's name for fear of invoking Casey's alleged acts in the imaginations of their audience. Yet they keep coming back for more.

Susie - George was interviewed for half an hour by Holly Bristow. He wrote what he called an article about living under a microscope for the past year and a half and then talked about himself and his new calling in life for 25 minutes.

Andrea Lyon was on The Today Show this morning spouting the same ole same ole, nothing new and then she plugged her new book.

She compared the media coverage to the Salem Witch trials.

I hope somewhere there will be a published account of it so that I can read it, but as for Andrea Lyons, I could really care less to hear anything that comes out of her mouth.
George, on the other hand, is a person of interest to me. NOT CINDY!

There's just this compassion that rises up in me when I hear him speak, I do believe the man is in profound pain and under the control of his wife because he cannot stand up to her.Perhaps he isn't the brightest bulb in the pack, but I find no guile in him.I believe he is a broken man. He just does as he's told, and has a need to express his feelings.JMO, of course.

weakness. escapism. denial. I think his heart knows,he cannot express it under the control and scruitiny of his WIFE. He may have regressed to the mind of a child. He is a very weak man.Going against Cindy's rules, only must bring him more grief, pain, verbal attacks, etc...

Hey look, I just said I feel compassion. So crucify me, whatever you must, It is what it is. JMO:rolleyes: Thanks for your opinion,as well.

We disagree on this fundamental point. Nothing he has said or done reflects this. Rather he has concentrated on how HE feels and what HE is going through and what HE thinks we should be doing. He seems to have lost the concept of what Caylee felt and what Caylee went through.

Have a nice one.

Sort of what an infantile person would do. Me,my, mine, self absorbed.

QUESTION? Does anyone think Jose Baez is going to try this latest case as his defense for Casey? If he does I swear i would like to have someone take him by the tie and tell him the truth and that it does not work that way.

I couldn't bear to watch this. What exactly is George's new calling??? I take it he hasn't decided yet that finding the truth about his own daughter isn't part of that. And unless George has someone who is paying him to sit on his rear for two years, I can't imagine what he is filling his time with. He certainly isn't bopping down to the jail everyday to visit "beautiful" and see how she is holding up. Sorry if this sounds sarcastic.....hmmmm....maybe I am in a sarcastic mood!

the little matter of the state wanting the GJ testimony is still looming, right? or did I miss something.......

remember, anytime something is going to be released, the anthonys bring the circus to town.....

shouldnt these people be studying for the stand?

George states he AND CINDY gave Caylee breakfast on June 16th.
Cindy denies it. in fact, she tacks on a half hour early exit from the home. GA decided to embellish the event of June 16th with MORE activity to make it MORE believable....but it was an oops, he forgot to consult with the 'other liar'.....

Im very curious if charges are going to be brought against him....his Me, Myself and Tattoo thesis means only one thing to me: something is coming down.......

cindy never brought charges against him for committing fraud against her. they toyed with divorce but she takes back the criminal because she doesnt want to pay him alimony.....Casey learned from daddy how to commit fraud......her own mother suggested to Cindy that Casey learned from George how to rip her off.

the circus is back, something is in the wind....

Thanks for the reply Betty.

Snipped for brevity.

George is George -- whether or not he's with Cindy or somebody else or alone. If he's being browbeaten by Cindy, it's because he prefers to be a kept man. He stays with Cindy for the same reason Casey never left the nest. He is a liar, a thief, a con artist, a moocher, a weak wimp, a chameleon, a manipulator, and most of all, a loser! IOW, he's a total carbon copy of Casey -- or rather, Casey is a total carbon copy of George. I'm undecided on how much of Casey's behavior is due to nature or nurture. And this is just my opinion only from my own observation.

Aren't they ever so involved in the cases of other missing children? Supporting the families, helping them to cope and all? Now, that doesn't sound good--if they try to lead families down the path they took. Oh, giving out those little teddy bears and going out in the boat (altho I don't recall it ever being in relation to a missing child case.)

And running that foundation must take a lot of time and energy.

I did watch the "reading and whining" by George yesterday. I can't for the life of me get used to this family hogging the limelight. All they can think about and talk about is their feelings and her feelings. They have ignored the facts for so long, they wouldn't know a truthful thing if it came flying out of her mouth.

They can't stay away from the cameras for one full day. They bask in the light of the tv cameras. This whining about how "HE" feels is stupid and just another reason to hit the airways and try and muddy the waters. GA, Casey is NOT coming home again. She murdered her baby and she will pay. You need to stay off of the airways from now on. Every time you whine and ask for cameras on you, it hurts your daughter's case. Can you not see the truth since you all have been lying for her for most of her life???? Stay home, tie Cindy to a chair if you must, but the public does not want to see or hear either of you anymore!!!

This is one very pathetic individual.
He accuses everyone dissecting their lives YET he hands us the microscope.
He accuses everyone firing off insults, criticism, ridicule, etc YET he hands us the ammo.

I agree. One thing I noticed was he seemed to actually take pride in the fact this is one of the largest cases in Orange County in the past decade. Just mentioning that little tidbit makes me think he is in awe that this case is huge. If you watch him, he looks impressed that he is getting letters from all over the world. Lots of eyebrow raising during this time.

When he mentions family and how he knows who he can trust or not trust, Casey's name isn't mentioned. Also when he is talking about suicide and it not being fair to his family, he says it wouldn't be fair to his future daughter in law before he says it wouldn't be fair to Casey. Ouch!!

Also interesting in this interview is his admission that Cindy's family is still not active in Cindy's life. They haven't made up, they still believe Casey is a killer and that Cindy is an idiot. I hope that they will speak on behalf of Caylee during the victim impact statements. Someone needs to that isn't also petitioning to save Casey's life. I honestly don't care if she gets the death penalty, but the law in Florida is clear that she is certainly eligible and if the jury does its job and finds her guilty of first degree murder, then the jury should also recommend she be sentenced to death, imo. There are no mitigating factors that would outweigh the aggravating factors. Especially since there are several aggravating factors here.

Morning everyone!
Great post Kakax .
Caylee's name wont even be mentioned during Victim Impact-
I laid in bed last night and was going over the beautifully written letter to Strickland and began laughing. If that is all they have and expect reasonable doubt from a jury then Baez is as delusionable as his client.
LOL at Casey running out of a Hotel room after a Rape attempt and was able to grab a duffle bag with a Kilo of coke and 250,000 and make it away from this OTowns Finest.

Been catching up this morn and just finished watching Georgies interview.
This is one very pathetic individual.
He accuses everyone dissecting their lives YET he hands us the microscope.
He accuses everyone firing off insults, criticism, ridicule, etc YET he hands us the ammo.

Georgie.....if you do not want to be analyzed, dissected, critiqued, harassed, whatever, stay away from cameras.
Let your conscience and love for your granddaughter be your guide.
Step up to the plate and do right by Caylee's memory. Tell The Truth

No George, I wouldn't want to be in your shoes. I'd rather be bare foot Knee deep in burning coals then spewing forth your BS.
The only media being reported on me would be that I would still be in a fetal position, sobbing at the tow yard.

For those that can't read the letter....

Dear Honorable Judge,
I'm writing to you in the case of State of Florida -- vs. Casey Anthony Orage County.
I'm a Florida prisoner serving life. I've been in prison going on "14" straight years. Recently I've transferred from one prison to the next. I was at Central Florida Reception Center on November 4-5, 09. I rand into a old time known drug dealer from Orlando AKA O-Town Finest a white male blue eyes blond hair a steriod user. We reconized each other. He in 96 wanted to sell me drugs in Orlando but I did not except. I questioned him did he know that Casey Anthony chick? he said he met her at a party last summer. That he was obsessed with her! That Casey Anthony and him O Town Finest hooked up at the Hilton Hotel Down Town Orlando that he offered her coke and weed! Tempts to get her hi to forcefully have sex with Casey. But Casey Anthony refused to give in after getting hi on his drugs so he tempted to rape Casey inside the Hilton Hotel but Casey Anthony resisted as neighbors in the next motel room come over to the room door to see what was going on. This guy told me that he forcefully snatched off Casey's shirt and jean shorts in attempts to pentrate Casey's virgina but Casey forcefully got away and opened the door to run as she got her shirt and shorts she picked up his duffa bag containing a half kilo of powder cocain and $25,000.00 in cash money and rand off. He told me that later this evening he went to Casey's house seen her white sports coup in the yard and seen casey inside getting hi in her home and saw the little girl out side playing by casey's car wheel!
I ask him did he kill her that lil kid kailey? He told me that he told Casey to come clean with the half kilo of powder and $25,000.00 she took from him to return it or she will never see her kid again. He said Casey denied this of taking and (can't read it) from him so he left her home and the next day in June 2008 or somewhere in the summer of last year he staked out Casey's Anthony home then seen Casey's daughter Kailey out side in the front yard that he walked up to the house saw casey through the window getting hi that he went to lil Kailey and put duck tape on her mouth and took her from Casey's home.

He said later he met casey and told her he kidnapped her daughter kailey that if she did not return the half kilo of coke and his $25,000.00 cash that she took from the Hilton Hotel that he was going to kill her daughter Kailey. He said Casey threaten to call the police on him! He told her if she do call that she will find her daughter Kailey dead on the news!

He said he forced Casey Anthony to steal and forge checks to pay off the debt in order to get his money back. He said after Casey tried to call the police on him he told his partner name Kronk to hold Casey's daughter to see if Casey would call the police.

He said after he saw on the news the reports about Casey's daughter Kailey he paid this guy name krunk "5" pounds of weed/marrawana to kill casey's daughter and get rid of the body. Krunk was a middle age guy who worked for the city of Orlando white male brown hair. After Krunk killed Kailey O Town Finest said he told Casey that his partner has killed her kid to look at the news that his partner krunk will expose to her her daughter body that if Casey go looking for her that he O Town Finest paid Kronk as a hit man to kill her and her parents that to to prove to Casey he meant business he had Krunk to kill Kailey as him and Krunk placed Kailey body close to Casey home to pay some one to say they saw Casey take and drop the kid body in the woods by water! in a bag O Town Finest said he was afraid that soon the police will find him because as he was in the woods he dropped a needle some where that had steriod use in it and he said he wasted some Chronoman liquid in Casey's trunk of her car as he forced her to go forge and cash illegal checks.

Your Honor casey Anthony had great reasons to be scare! and not talk this guy killed her daughter and threaten to kill her and her parents. He O Town Finest has a partner who works for the city of Orlando name "Krunk". This guy was payed to kill Kailey and hid the body.

Krunk still works for Orlando. This guy was supost to had took Kailey body and put it in the woods then call police and claimed he found it! Just to show Casey that him and O Town Finest meant business that Casey better return O Town Finest Half Kilo of cocain and $25,000.00 in cash that O Town said Casey stolen from him at Hilton Hotel.

I only know this guy by O Town Finest! I didn't look at his doc name tag to get his real name but the killer of Casey kid is in prison Nov. 09 as his partner still is on the streets in orange county a guy named Krunk.

Your Honor, Casey is not the killer! It's O Town Finest and his partner Krunk two drug dealers. Casey did not talk because Krunk and O Town Finest threaten to kill her and her parents isn't that reason to not speak up? If these guys killed kailey! Krunk knows who O Town Finest is he paid this guy Krunk 5 pound of weed to off Kailey so said O Town Finest. Casey is scared silent she knows these guys killed her kid but she is afraid if she talk they will kill her parents your Honor. This female Casey is innocent. She is just scared silent knowing they killed her kid over drugs and threaten to kill her and her parents the same way.

Conclusion
Your Honor
It's not my job to locate or find this guy O Town Finest I saw him in nov. 4-5 09 at Orlando Reception Center as I passed through he told me that Casey took his belongings that him and Krunk had a lil dope cartell going on that Casey took their drugs and did not own up to it so they kill Casey's kid.

And threaten to kill Casey and family. I don't think Casey even told her parents that their life as well was in danger. Casey while incarsarated feels real safe knowing the killers of her kid cannot hurt her!
Casey Anthony is not the killer of her kid

To find out who O town Finest is you must go after this guy Krunk. The guy that claimed he founds Caseys daughter body.
He is the muderer sir.
Thank you.
PS
casey Anthony is innocent Sir.

the little matter of the state wanting the GJ testimony is still looming, right? or did I miss something.......

remember, anytime something is going to be released, the anthonys bring the circus to town.....

shouldnt these people be studying for the stand?

IMO

best regards,
Pru

*waiting on maggot evidence.....*

Yes Pru I do believe there is some breaking wind. But I just wanted to point out. I could be wrong but it appears that George filed against Cindy so did George take her back:confused:

I know we talked about this, but I still think this letter from George was some sort of failed book attempt. Or the Anthonys giving a glimpse for a publisher to see what they could write. This was so staged, with George being alone, in the conference room, the title being repeated over 8 times during his interview.....very rehearsed. Something is definitely "breaking wind". This was all I have come up with so far... I was listening more than watching.

FOX is responsible for this mockery. Have they ever done an exclusing piece from the Anthony's in the past? As Really said, BrightHouse cable and FOX are in disputes about pricing. Our beloved Attorney John Morgan is a lawyer on the case. I don't think any of the other networks wanted this -

"George Anthony on loosing Caylee'

Let's talk about 'me' and how my life is. Let's not talk about "Caylee' the child, whom the world has come to love.

It's all about the 'microscope' and the media. Things that wouldn't be, if he and his wife had kept their pie holes shut. Their Daughter did this to them. WE DIDN'T!!! As Bill Shaeffer said, the facts are the facts.

Sorry, George, you failed, big time!!!

Totally agree. I didn't know about the Fox thing until really said something about that last night.

It was ALL about him, and Cindy, and Lee and Casey. And why they were treated so badly. He even mentioned a case, Bob Ward's saying incorrectly that the judge in that case ruled that things were not going to be released. They are going to be released, the judge is just allowing 30 days before it gets released to the media.

I'm so sick of their tirades and you said it best when you said it isn't about the bloggers or the media...it is about who killed Caylee. They could not care less about her last minutes on this earth and how horrific they must have been.

I always found it odd how he referred to Caylee as "that little girl" and everytime he and cindy speak on TV they don't beg for the kidnapper to bring Caylee back or let her go. They have never begged for information from anyone who may know the nanny. It's always defending Casey. NOTHING for Caylee. It's all about Casey. Even now.
It's pointing fingers at people who call them to task and defending Casey. Makes me mad and very sad.

No matter the gender, someone living with an abusive spouse will kowtow to the person to keep the peace and hopefully reduce the amount of abuse heaped on them. I think he is sticking it out for Casey's sake. You know what would be read into Cindy and George separating during this time. Haven't we witnessed a good number of women sticking the situation out in times of adversity and, yet, our society hates a weak man for doing the same thing. So I do have compassion for George, but I do not approve of how he is showing support for his daughter and lack of support for justice to his grand daughter.

Heck, my whole family tiptoed around my sister for years and stills does. Do we disagree with her face-to-face? No. We just nod and listen when she talks about her opinions. In one ear and out the other.
We can do that now since we don't have to see her often, but when living in the same house, you could not ignore it. It was in your face. So I am in agreement with you, Susie.

George is attempting to ride the wave of attention

(okay, maybe just a ripple)

that Lyons is attempting to generate to sell her new book aka "Casey didn't kill her kid".

Competing egos for future monetary gain from public sympathy. IMO.

You are exactly right MisterGrey.

Let's just document another lie by the Anthonys and save it for reference.

IF 9 out of 10 people were supporting this family, it would be a fantastic number. Any pollster would love it.

It's not true. Of course the Anthonys have as much trouble with math as they do with the English language.

I believe he really thinks he sounds good when he talks. "Not by any shape of the imagination" George.

I cannot force myself to watch.

Under a microscope ummmm, who keeps generating samples for this microscope, George, and who is placing them under the media's world wide lense?

Reads like another pizza and beer pity party.

The best I can say is that I would rate it* just slightly higher than Lee's lamenting over the lost of his GF (Tara?) on his myspace blog and his "cma, cma, cma, you-taught-me-how-to-live-and-how-to-die" performance.

*rating based on, well, brevity I guess.

And correct me if I am wrong. He states in his 25 min sermon that 1/11/09 was the beer and empty bottle moment. SO is this his year anniversary. Did he tell Cindy they want to talk to me about where I was at this time last year. I think this is going to be an interesting month for drama. JMO

Thanks Kakax..
Im actually surprised it was even 6 times.

I learned Caylee liked to color, play with play-dooh, and ate popcorn nightly.

And that George thought he'd win the lotto some day. Sorry for repeating that, but, it cracks me up.

:laugh:He thought he'd maybe win the lottery some day!

And that has what, to do, with anything?

I believe he has confused celebrity with notoriety.

He thinks he is a celebrity and has alway envisioned this would happen, via the lottery or something he created, not his way.

(He did create something though - Casey. She brought him this notoriety.)

George needs to fear that microscope.

The forensic evidence is going to convict his daughter.

It just might hold him and Cindy accountable also.

You guys, check this: All last night and all yesterday I kept saying to myself "living under a microscope" Hmmmmmm where have I heard that...etc etc and the search began. I came up empty and slept on it, and Wham now I remember!

When there was that missing child convention; cindy and george were going to give a speech and were even Booked at that convention until we all screamed and complained....the title of their little hour long session they were booked under?

Living under a microscope.

O I C George Anthony. Now, so now he uses that title to push what they are trying to sell anyway? I gotcha George, you are so easy to figure out!

Great catch bugout. Of course Cindys already said she is supposed to be writing daily.

Still cracks me up that George had to say these are my words, one handwritten and one typed. ????

Lee said George left for work at 11:45 every day. That doesn't match what George said about his daily time of leaving and when he left that day he claims to have last saw Caylee.

Who the heck brings up winning the lotto when their grandchild was murdered?

Great catch Really!

Why does he ask himself questions?

Why can't he just speak?

Where did he pick up this mode of communication?

Who is not listening to him?

When did he develop this form of internal dialog?

How is it working for him?

George is one of those people who just sits around and wishes that his life was different...but does nothing to improve it because he is lazy(sounds like his daughter)...he just wants it all handed to him without doing the work...that's why he stays with Cindy...he is a kept man for sure...

In his interview he was so proud of the fact that his daughter murder case was prolly the biggest ever in Orange Co....WTH!!!!...why would you be proud of that???

Guess that's his idea of being a celebrity...NOT!!!!

I was racking my brain trying to figure out who else I've heard talk about the 'case' being the biggest the area has seen.

Darin Routier!!! Talking about his wife who killed their 2 sons.
