Lots of good articles here. Scroll down to "meet" the Longhorns/Crimson Tide. The Season in Review has some good pics, too.

I'm a transplanted Texan, but as the saying goes, "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree."

Go teach the Bulldogs to behave,
Send the Yellowjackets to a watery grave!
And if a man starts to weaken, that's a shame
For "Bama's pluck and grit have writ their name in Crimson flame

If McElroy didn't have two fractured ribs, if Ingram didn't have cramps, if RO hadn't been very dehydrated, and if Bama didn't shut it down at the half, this game would have really been a blowout.

Congrats to all of you Bama fans! That was a great game. News from Tuscaloosa - they are waiting for the team's plane to arrive home shortly. It wouldn't surprise me if the local stations cut into the programming to cover their arrival - along with all the fans freezing their butts off waiting to greet them. I heard one report that they are expecting 5,000 people. Don't know if that is at the airport tonight or for a parade tomorrow.
Last night, after the game a few stores opened to sell the championship jerseys and hats etc. The lines outside started before the end of the game and they were all sold out in no time.

Right in the middle of the David and Sean Goldman story on Dateline - we are now watching a plane coming into Tuscaloosa Airport. The parade and celebration will be next week. Well we've been hearing the Goldman story for only about 10 years - its been longer than that since we've seen a BCS championship team here.
