This is just a GUESS but since it was for something that they didn't take him to jail, I'm thinking some traffic thing LIKE no insurance or children not properly in car seats.

Brought this over from the closed thread. I doubt the police could charge him for child endangerment or no car seats since they don't even list children present on the police reports. They would have to have seen kids in the truck and obviously they didn't.

Every time something "new" is released, things changed. To begin with I understood, he didn't know Misty was in the vehicle. This whole story has already gotten convoluted. Unless someone is charged and arrested, I'm not putting much credence to much of the stuff that is being said/written. I'll just go by the Incident reports. Also the original 911 calls, where I don't think all the things that were said was "the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth". JMO

Perhaps it is becoming clearer why Ron divorced Misty. He knows she can't be trusted and it's beginning to look like she would have him offed if there were any opportunity. I think we all know she isn't very smart...book wise. She dropped out of school in the 6th grade IIRC, and when asked by 911 what the numerical was she didn't kow what numerical meant. As for the boyfriend/girlfriend thing....do you really think this bunch knows what the word monogamy means?

Discussions have been that, it might not be that Misty did not know where Jones lives (as in how to get there) but has problem with addresses. As even in the 2/10/09 911 call, she could not provide the numerical address of the house where she herself lived. If I understand, the question was to give the address of Jones, and she did not know the address.

IIRC, one of the original headlines from, I think the Sky place, was that father of missing girl charged in deadly assault (paraphrasing) The car being the deadly weapon. The weird thing is, the very article it headlined said there were no arrests, and the incident was being given to (some agency) for further investigation.

Ok...this happened Wednesday night. It probably didn't get sent to the SA until Thursday sometime and the Courts and SA's office was closed Friday for the holiday. Today would be the first day back after the holiday and the SA is probably just getting the file.

The incident report doesn't mention any citations being given and had any been given they would be listed on the incident report. Ronald hasn't been arrested so we know he wasn't charged either or his arrest would be on the court site.

Given all of that it's obvious the WFTV article is wrong and Misty may have seen a card being given to Ron and thought it was a ticket.

Last time Tommy was arrested, wasn't it confirmed that Misty lived with her parents? She must have stayed with CJ after that, so it seems that Misty lives like her parents, anywhere the wind blows her, but I really doubt she was back living with AS.

From what I could make out on those phone messages they are indeed scary folks and I hope Misty doesn't delay in filing charges against them.

I don't see what's so strange about it. If my child were missing, you can believe that I'd be kissing the bum of the last person to have seen them alive! They wouldn't be able to sniff without my knowing it. Deep down I'd want to rip them apart and beat the truth out of them, but where would that get me?? No where good thats for sure! With the life Misty and family lead, there is a good chance they'd have packed up in the middle of the night and went god knows where! Would I be able to carry on the charade for months.....who knows, but I'd like to think that I'd have my lips attached as long as need be find out what happened to my child.

Until Misty decides she wants better for her life, the circle will continue. No doubt this goes back to..well since she was born. My opinion is she never had any stability in her life, probably was shuffled around as a child. I wonder how many elementary schools she was at before she was done for good? Now, you can probably get a restraining order, based on the threats, especially if you have a recording of them. And we all know what a deterrent restraining orders are for someone who is bound and determined to do you harm or worse.

He isn't Ron's friend according to her, just someone he knows. She said she met him a couple of months ago and they gave her a place to stay when she had nowhere to go. She also went on to say that Jones and Crystal's brother Marcus are friends and that Marcus has threatened to shank her.

Simon Barrett did a story about Jones and Misty partying and having sex. The replies from what is supposedly his family claim it was a harmless birthday party for her 18th birthday.

The report was taken within 30 minutes of the first incident report and the messages talked about the incident. Misty said there were 15 calls so it's possible some were before and after the police talked to the Jones'.

I've been reviewing a lot of posts both at IS and at Websleuths. Something strikes me that I don't recall seeing much discussion about. Ron revealed on the Nancy Grace show that Misty couldn't have been doing laundry as there was no laundry detergent in the house and he also stated that the bed had not been slept in. It was still "made." If he is in cahoots with Misty and is as supportive of Misty as some believe why then would he reveal those two things which I find to very important? I think it clearly supports that Misty was not at home that night. I also believe he knows Misty wasn't at home when Haleigh was abducted and I think he believed that she may eventually reveal what actually happened if he kept her close to him....thus "keep your friends close and your enemies closer." At any rate, Misty not being at home gave someone ample opportunity to abduct Haleigh.

Focus off HaLeigh -- if I was average citizen and read all this BS, it would have made a cat pan liner.

Everybody knows what happened to HaLeigh -- absolutely, except I'll put that one into GGMS remark about everyone knowing/believing she's still alive.

Ron only has one child in his physical custody right now. There was supposedly TWO children in the truck. It's just as likely, if it's even true that children were in the truck and not something Misty made up, that they were with Misty. Her family still trusts her around children and wouldn't hesitate to let her watch their kids per Lindsy.

I don't have the link anymore, but maybe someone kept it - the link to the interview Ron did with that newspaper - from the same town as his attorney.....can't recall that either.

It was the interview where Ron is shown on the front with the blue shirt and I believe Jr. is with him.

LE has repetatively stated that they believe Misty is the key to the timeline and she has not been charged with any crime in relation to Haleigh, be it obstruction, neglect or anything. LE has stated Ron is not a suspect. Someone needs to tell me exactly what basis the DCF has to remove Jr. They have been involved with this family for quite a while and still have left Jr. with Ron. I have to believe with the worlds eye on them scrutinizing every move this agency makes in this case, that they have no factual or substantial cause to remove this little boy from the care of his father.

Most of what we have are links to articles, which have already proved to be less than accurate at times.

KP's response to the Bar complaint is a legal document; KP could loose her license and face civil lawsuits if she offered information that was simply lies to the state Bar.

KP's comments and 'proof' about Ron was discussed as the honest truth for months; suddenly when the worm turns, so to speak, it is not truth at all.

I never trusted KP, in fact the only reason I do somewhat believe her now is because of the very serious legal consequences she could and should face if she lied about Crystal and her family.
