She is in intensive care with pnemonia & blood clots in the lungs & is 73 years old. She didn't even have a cold. It just came out of the blue. She could sure use the prayers of anyone willing to pray for her. I believe God listens to each and every one.
Thank you so very, very much.

Just as a brief update, when I got to the hospital this morning my mom was sitting up in the bed, they had taken her off the C-pap & only had her on a nasal cannula, she was talking to everyone & wanting her makeup (ha). The chest x-ray this morning showed the majority of the blood clots had dissipated with only a few remaining & her temperature was normal. The ICU nurse took me to the side & whispered to me "everyone is saying it's like a miracle." I started crying & thanked the Lord right then & there. It really is true God performs miracles. Yesterday it looked so bleak.
She is still having issues with some drug interactions or something & is very disoriented & confused, but they transferred her out of ICU to a regular room this afternoon. She's not totally out of the woods, but hopefully the really scary part is over. I am so thankful for my wonderful friends at Insession & for all your prayers. I believe God heard all of us. Don't ever let anyone tell you different. IMO
That's wonderful news - thank you for the update!

And isn't that the truth!!! Oh, and the ICU nurse also said it was one of the fastest turnarounds they had ever seen, especially in someone her age.

She is still in the hospital, in a regular room, but it has been one thing after another for 2 weeks now. Having trouble getting Coumadin level right, discovered blood in urine, running test after test, yesterday she received a blood transfusion. But we are still very hopeful she will recover and be able to go home soon.
To complicate matters, I rolled over my husband's SUV on the ice Saturday morning. But praise the Lord I had no head injuries, no spinal injuries, no broken bones, only a lot of bruising & a few cuts. I was very fortunate as the car was totaled. But I have been pretty much out of commission & my brother has taken over staying at the hospital with mom.
Thank you so much for asking, and please continue to pray for us. I know there must be a reason for all this. I'm just not sure what it is yet.

I've seen on TV the snow and ice conditions in parts of Europe and the States that do not have any history in driving on it.
It is not unusual here and even with tons of experience like I have, I really need to go somewhere before I drive on it. When I worked I had to go out, now I sit my butt at home.
