LAS VEGAS -- Metro police said they need the public’s help in the case of a kidnapping that turned into a killing.
On Nov. 30, Metro officers responded to 3136 Westfield St. to investigate a report of a missing female. Officers said they discovered the residence had been ransacked, and numerous items were missing.
Police said the victim was eventually found dead in the home’s garage.
She has been identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as Ginger Candela, 44, of Las Vegas.
Police said the suspect in this case has been identified as Michael Lane, 34, of Great Britain.
