EXCLUSIVE: Jon Gosselin's Court Dates Moved Up

The warring parties had a status conference Tuesday morning and the judge moved the hearing for a preliminary junction from December 14 to December 10th.

The trial date was moved from from late 2011 to April 19th, 2010.

Wonder if the date for the depositions has been changed as well? Knew that there had been a date set for the injunction hearing but didn't realize that an actual trial date had been set previously. Wonder if the changes are due to openings in the court schedule?

I bet TLC wanted it pushed forward ~ then they have longer to use the bargaining chip of having this expensive court case looming over him as bait to let his kids back on the show..

they are all sick IMO.

Don't agree with you about TLC delaying the trial since I think they would want to get it over with sooner rather than later.

Then, who or what do you think is responsible for the dates being moved up?

ITA...i'm sick of all of them.

Now that the show is done, public interest will wane in the Gosselins, including the kids, and the lawsuit I think will be quietly settled. Whatever Jon's motives were for pulling the plug on TLC's filming of the children, he had that right by virtue of the contract. I think TLC sued him for breach of contract with regard to his conduct in other matters as retaliation for stopping filming. TLC is on to bigger and better things now. They are working with Kate on a new show, it may fly, it may not. Personally, I don't think Kate is a strong enough or likeable enough to carry a show on her own, she needs much more experience.

Right now, Jon and Kate have specific financial obligations thru an arbitration agreement that must be met. Both of them will have to find gainful employment in order to do that. Maybe a taste of what it's like out here with rest of the public who have to get up and out there everyday to keep a roof over our families head and food on the table will do them good. No more two or three luxury vacations a year, being escorted to the head of the line and getting the white glove treatment.
Yes, dose of "reality" may be just what they need.

Has anyone seen "Little People, Big World" as of late? Amy has recently admitted, (as if she has to), that they aren't happy, there are only "moments" of happiness.

I predict this program and marriage to continue to deteriorate just as Jon & Kate's did, while TLC only concerns themselves with $$$$.

When TLC finally learns that exploiting the privacy of families isn't such a good thing, perhaps they can once again be respected as a TRUE "learning channel".

I watched it last night and told my sister I think they will be divorced soon.

I haven't watched American Chopper in a long time but i saw an episode the other day and JR said the show was the worst thing they had ever done. Father and sons don't hardly even talk anymore. and they don't work together anymore. Very Sad IMO

I sure hope that doesn't happen to the Table for 12 couple.

I think Kate is distancing herself from Jon as much as possible.
I think with every interview it gets easier for Kate. I bet she will be looking to the future and hopefully she will tell us more about her upcoming show. Sure she will be asked about Jon just the way JS will be asked about her husband, but that is to be expected.

I cant wait and find out what the kids are up to these days. Hope we get to see more pics of them and find out what sports they may be into next year. I want to know what Christmas plans Kate has for the kids. I think Jon is pretty much old news unless he figures out a way to outdo himself with some stupid act before taping. That is if it has not already been taped.

ITA!! We are all looking forward to it also. My girlfriends are going to be watching....... some for the first time ever. Should be great ratings as I noticed others will be tuning in also. Hey, even the ones who do not like Kate will be viewing so they can scrutinize all that is Kate. Funny how that works!! Should be real interesting.

I think it is a real good list and I am also wanting to find out more about Kate's show and the kids. I do think slowly but surely Kate has proven Jon and she have basically nothing in common except the kids. The divorce will be final soon and less and less people will be asking about Jon. The guy is history.

I hate to say this too loud but I just wonder what stunt Jon will be pulling next also. I sure hope he is considering the time of year and will layoff paid for bad acts in front of the camera. Perhaps he finally got some good advice and will take it to heart for those wonderful kids of his. We can only hope...... IMO.............

Jon Gosselin's former best buddy Michael Lohan gave what could be a highly damaging deposition Wednesday morning in TLC's lawsuit against the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star, RadarOnlne.com is reporting exclusively. The two-and-a-half hour deposition took place in New York City. In an exclusive interview with Lohan after the deposition, he told RadarOnline.com, "They asked questions regarding my involvement on a business level with Jon Gosselin; deals that were negotiated; transactions that did occur and basically my deal with Michael Heller. "I think the attorneys from Williams & Connolly were very thorough," Lohan said of the TLC legal team. "I think they did a great job. They asked the appropriate questions and they got the answers they wanted. I think they have a very, very strong case, one that I definitely don't think they'll lose. So good luck to Jon." ...Lohan also told RadarOnline.com that Jon had better beware of what his ex-girlfriend Hailey Glassman may say when she is deposed in the case. Hailey's attorney, he said, "has a pretty powerful file, I understand."

Williams & Connolly is one of the best law firms in the country and is pursuing the case against Jon with its typical aggression. Paul Gaffney, a partner in the firm, is the lead attorney.

IIRC, Dec. 10th was the original date for depositions with the hearing scheduled for Dec. 14th, so maybe all the depos will be completed within four days of the hearing. Just a guess. Does anyone remember how many people are being deposed by the TLC lawyers?Anyone heard whether Jon's lawyers are deposing people? I believe that they do get to cross-examine during the TLC depositions so maybe that is all they think they need....not sure, though.

Good question. I am also wondering about the school teacher. Perhaps they think they can accomplish their goal without her so it does not hinder her job anymore than this whole mess has already. Or perhaps they want to gather as much as possible before deposing her.

I don't know either. I was suprised that the depos started today. I could be wrong but when I was doing a search something came up about the Nanny being deposed this afternoon. Not sure what it was though.

She's in the process of growing it out, I'll bet. I liked it spikey in the back, too. I don't know why people are so hard on her hairstyle. Easy peasy for a mom w/8kids. IMVHO.

To me, it looked better than a lot of those who spike their hair all over the place. Some of those look like they just crawled out of bed or their hairstylist closed his/her eyes and whacked it off.

Oh well, to each his/her own. As a retired Cosmetologist, I can tell you that when it somes to hair, the only difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut is two weeks.

I loved her response to the paparazzi! Go, Kate! Just keep a low profile darlin' and mum's the word. Watch your ex-husband hang himself. HA! Pretty soon this will all just seem like a bad dream. Life goes on and it gets better.

I wish her success, so she can keep up with those $7500 child support payments. Besides, becoming wildly successful is a sweet revenge all on it's own. :thumbsup:

Oh how I love the Spyder view of things. I think her hair looks just fine and easy to care for. I think she might grow it out with the kids away from home more and she will have more time on her hands. Never could understand all the talk about her hair.

ITA......I do not think Jon does good with money. Seems to me he only gets in trouble with it. I think he will be lucky to make enough for CS and his own upkeep.

Now that the show is done, public interest will wane in the Gosselins, including the kids, and the lawsuit I think will be quietly settled. Whatever Jon's motives were for pulling the plug on TLC's filming of the children, he had that right by virtue of the contract. I think TLC sued him for breach of contract with regard to his conduct in other matters as retaliation for stopping filming. TLC is on to bigger and better things now. They are working with Kate on a new show, it may fly, it may not. Personally, I don't think Kate is a strong enough or likeable enough to carry a show on her own, she needs much more experience.

Right now, Jon and Kate have specific financial obligations thru an arbitration agreement that must be met. Both of them will have to find gainful employment in order to do that. Maybe a taste of what it's like out here with rest of the public who have to get up and out there everyday to keep a roof over our families head and food on the table will do them good. No more two or three luxury vacations a year, being escorted to the head of the line and getting the white glove treatment.

Did you ever consider that going to places where he had roots might have been as much Jon's ideas as Kate's. I really don't understand why Kate gets the blame for the trips. I never saw Jon saying he didn't want to go. Did you? I think they were mutual decisions.....and encouraged by TLC.

Either they did and believed that she didn't violate the moral clause or they didn't ask her because there has never been any proof of any sort of an illicit relationship. My guess is the latter.

TLC knows that never happened and they are standing behind Kate.
Jon is the one who started it which could actually come out if he was paid for the story. May come anyway because it was a person on the show and he was attempting to tarnish their image.

Thats it! Goodness look how long he was away from them. He did not even see them for Thanksgiving after he said he would spend half a day with them. Thats mess up. Been there done that with my dad. Makes me ill to think of it. I KNOW HOW THAT FEELS!
Jon needs to get his priorities in order before it is too late. He runs all over on these pleasure trips. They will soon know what was more important to him.
Jon does need to re-think the gang he has been running around with and bringing around the kids. He needs to re-think his whole non helmet way of thinking also.
We can only hope.

I know it just eats away at the very fiber of being a parent. He better get it together or there will be 8 kids who will grow up and abandon him someday. Flying all over the place being a Playboy takes all his time. Very sad sack of potatoes. Or however that saying is.

For one thing, she's been wildly successful at keeping half a dozen beautiful babies viable in her womb until they could survive on their own. She was wildly successful at giving birth to them and caring for them and keeping them alive and well to date.

I don't know how good a nurse she was, but with the media, no news is good news, so I'd say maybe she was successful as a nurse. How wildly, exactly, I can't say.

I STILL wish for her to be successful and wildly so at whatever she chooses to do for a living. I know that the wages of a nurse won't let her meet the $7500 child support payment, so I hope her books sell and she can command top dollar for her appearances on whatever show she chooses and if she gets her own show, then good for her.

I understand that may not be what you want for her, and that's your right, but it's what I want for her.

I'll even wish old Jon-boy more good will if he ever comes out of that fog he's in. :shrug:

She has been a successful writer and motivational speaker, as well. And she has been successful in hosting the View, etc. She has had the most viewed show on TLC for 5 seasons and TLC has given her a new show.

I'm a retired Cosmetologist. I've seen it all. The purple, egg-planty red stuff. :rolleyes: Blegh. Or the hair half-way bleached up the shaft and chopped off as if someone used a butcher knife and every hair glued straight up, sticking out hither and yon are nothing I ever learned.

Still, I learned to give my client whats they ask for, not what suited me. My customers were always right, except for the one I told never to darken my door, again. :tongue:

So while you may fire someone who gave Kate what she asked for, I would not. I know how difficult some clients are and I've been known to smile with my lip twitching, but unless Kate raises a fuss about her ugly hair, it's really her call.

Ohhhhhhh wait a minute...Kate did not ASK for that haircut. She just talked about on some show that she started going to a new hairstylist and her stylist talked her into going a little shorter in the back and then Kate said she said ok but she wanted the spikey in the back....I love the spikes....The sides are to heavy and she needs it thinned a little IF she was going to keep that style. but the dye job sucks.

I loved loved loved how Kate had her hair on the view.

Have you seen the commercial for the top 10 with BWs? I love Kates hair there. She always looks great on the shows. but when she goes home to her regular stylist I just gag.

So yeah I would probably fire one of my employees for talking kate into that exact cut and style lol

and talking about strange things....when I went back to school about ten years ago to get my instructors license I heard a student ask the teacher if she could teach her how to cut hair using a cigarette lighter. ( of course she said NO ) I seriously almost fainted. God bless people for doing stuff like that but there is just no way I would have the guts to try it.

I think it will be awhile before Kate's countenance is back to smiling pretty and saying cheese for the cameras.

I think she's going through enough embarassment and pain with Jon running amuck with every dim-bulbed, lame-brained, sue-happy tart he can lay his hands on. Geez I wish he'd wake up.

Be that as it may, I wish Kate well, hairdo and all. Especially now, over the holidays. Her burdens are many and I'm sure at times will seem unbearable. Those first holidays alone are painful and agonizing enough as it is, without folks kicking her when she's down.

I'd feel sorry for Jon, too, but I'm not sure if this madman is just who he is, or if he's fallen off the lunatic fringe into the abyss. :shrug:

Michael Lohan is really something else. He should focus on getting his own life straightened out. He's right about Jon not knowing who his friends were - Jon probably thought Michael was his friend but he never really was.

On the topic of friends, one thing I have found somewhat interesting is that all of the relationships with these new BFFs (Michael, Kate M., Hailey) that Jon acquired this year have imploded. Everyone points the finger at Kate as being the reason they didn't have family or close friends around, but I have to wonder if Jon has difficulty in the friendship department, too. For someone who goes out quite a bit, you just don't see him hanging around Pennsylvania, reconnecting with his old guy friends and catching a ball game or whatever.

As I see it, even if Jon is gone, it's a right thing and Kate should be doing hand-springs off the wall with giddy happiness, I'm willing to bet it's still not giving her reason to celebrate.

oh yeah I've been through a divorce and my divorce was nothing like Kates so to be honest I don't know what she's feeling. Her husband cheated on her and my husband caused the death of our son. I mourned the death of my son, but not for one second did I mourn the death our our marriage.

That's exactly right, Spyder. You could just feel Kate's pain talking about how she never wanted the divorce.

If TLC calls her to testify, I would bet it would not be so much for dirt on Jon as for what were their conversations and understanding of the contract, did they have legal counsel, etc. Since they're still married, could Kate even be compelled to testify? Does a wife have to testify against a husband in a civil trial?

Sure, once they're old enough to understand, they'll "get" it, but until then, there will be many questions there are no answers for and that alone is reason enough for a newly divorced mother to grieve.

Most of his ideas seem to be quick temporary fixes. IMO, he really needs to find permanent, steady employment. What that might be, I have no idea. Not sure that college would really help....maybe a special training program of some sort (IT?). Whatever it might be, IMO,he had better get moving in order to uphold his end of the divorce settlement.

Yeah, he can't expect much from TLC anymore. I wonder what our little Peter Pan has decided to be when he grows up. The divorce is final soon. Child support will commence with monthly regularity. Same with his rent. Okay, so that's 13,000 a month right there, not counting the basics.

Guess he'd best be finding something pretty soon. I have a feeling, (call it woman's intuition :tongue: ) that Ms. Ex-wife Kate is not going to be much interested or sympathetic to any of his hard luck stories.

The 7500 was established pre-divorce and I believe only covers half of the basic bills.....taxes, school etc come out of a different account and are additional. Not sure how Jon's personal expenses are paid. Once the divorce is final, Jon will have to cover all his own expenses in addtion to what the court requires as child support. He might have to take on one of the houses as well. Bottom line is that he will need an steady income.

I was so young when I got my divorce we didn't have much to split but I just told the Judge to give my ex the cars and house and I just waned out. When my sister got a divorce they had been married 15 yrs and the Judge ordered them to sale the house and divide the money.... In this economy I doubt a Judge would do that.

I've always wondered why Jon moved to NYC and rented an expensive condo when he could have just lived in their old house that hasn't sold yet. But he said something about he had to move to NYC for his job.........WHAT JOB....is he crazy....:sneaky:

She has a book coming out. IMO she will kill 2 birds with one stone and promote her book and show at the same time. One book is probably finished. I would not be suprised to find that she has been quietly working on the next book.
